Updated List (4/4/19) with Images Can be Found Here: https://tstoaddicts.com/2019/04/04/updated-cash-and-xp-bonus-awarded-for-items/
Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
In continuing the series of “what would you like to see on this site during the downtime” posts, we’re going to tackle another popular requested item. Many of you commented that you wanted to see more charts. More specifically…charts that show every item in the game that offers a Cash & XP bonus %, or just an XP bonus %.
So I’ve had a list together of these items and I once again collaborated with the King of Charts, Safi. We put our charts together and voila we’ve got ourselves a bonus percentage chart.
Without further ado, let’s take a look at a comprehensive list of items new and old, permanent and limited-time..that all own a bonus percentage…
Remember, in order to get credit for these bonus percentages the items MUST be in your Springfield. You will not get credit for items in your inventory...
Also, a quick way to check your visible bonus percentage simply tap on your conform-o-meter stars. That’ll bring up your conform-o-meter details and breakdown your overall bonus percentage in your game. (Note: This will NOT show your hidden XP bonus % from Springfield Heights items)
And now onto the chart…
Update…Please read this important Note: Regarding the Simpson Snowmen (Bart, Homer etc)…if you earned them during Christmas 2015 they will not earn a bonus %. EA released another version of them last Christmas (2015), that looked exactly the same but did not award a bonus %. So that’s why you’re not seeing a bonus % associated with them when you pull them from inventory. If your obtained them from a previous Christmas (2014, 2013 or 2012) they award the bonus % indicated on this chart. If you’re not sure when you got them…the simple test is to pull them from inventory and see if your meter goes up. If it doesn’t increase they’re from 2015, if it does you obtained them in one of the previous Christmases.
Items are listed in Alphabetical Order…and once again this list includes items that are Limited-Time and may not currently be available in the game for purchase.
Posting it again for those who may have missed it…Please read this important Note: Regarding the Simpson Snowmen (Bart, Homer etc)…if you earned them during Christmas 2015 they will not earn a bonus %. EA released another version of them last Christmas (2015), that looked exactly the same but did not award a bonus %. So that’s why you’re not seeing a bonus % associated with them when you pull them from inventory. And there you have it…all the current items in the game that offer a bonus % on cash and XP!
Now there are hidden, meaning they won’t show up on your Conform-O-Meter Bonus %, Bonuses on XP only available with Springfield Heights buildings. Here’s a quick breakdown of those…
Note: None of the main buildings need to be upgraded to have the bonus impact you. However, the Private Island (and the Private Island Only) needs to be on at least level 2 for the bonus to have an impact.

You wanted charts…you’ve got em! 😉
What are your thoughts on the bonus percentage charts? Do you have all available items out in your Springfield? Where’s your bonus percentage sitting? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
I’m curious, is there a means of updating these lists, with a “sort by” button?
I’m in the process of starting down the path of building my bonus %, and was hoping to find a guide stating which premium items have a good balance of donut cost/space required/amount of % boosted etc…
I’m trying to balance that all out so I don’t push the item limit too high, plus I’ll be making sure to get any and all premiums that have characters…
This list is definitely helpful, but wondering if an interactive chart exists? To be able to sort by cost, area, % boost, character?, one time only vs multiple buys…
In terms of bonus % per space (and cost, barring special deals), IIRC, the jet engine bikes were the best deal. I believe those are only available now via the weekly rotating weekly Mystery Box, so you might have to wait a bit. There have been other items offering a better deal, but I don’t think those are regularly available. For example, wailing walls are really good, (they take several squares of length space but they’re only one square wide), but I think they’re usually only available during special events (although it’s quite possible that this Halloween event could bring them out).
But the best strategy, donut-cost wise, is to spend donuts on the Burns Mystery Box. You can then hide the bonus-earning items you win there behind buildings and whatnot. I used to farm for donuts (having the collider is key, too) and then use those donuts to buy mystery boxes. That’s a large part of how I got to an over 1,000% multiplier. At that point (or thereabouts), I was able to leave farming behind not long after, and I’m now at a multiplier of well over 2,000%.
Thanks, I’ve been reading many posts about that…I guess for me, it’s not about the overall amount of donuts spent (in other words…ignoring and avoiding mystery box)…more from the above list…is there a dedicated “rule” that EVERYTHING granting x% boost will cost the same as anything else of the same x% boost…
Further…I guess I’d be looking also at the aspect of finding which items have a space:% ratio…
Example, burning bush takes up a measly one square, but low boost…vs things like the whale and pirate ghost ship which are bigger, and also a high %
Regardless, appreciate the reply…all I might suggest might be that whenever you update the list above…any potential of rearranging the items listed either by amount of % boost or such rather than alphabetically by name?
Is there a maximum %?
No
Too bad I never, since nearly two years, noticed the Bonus Percentages ‘behind’ the Beach Hideaways. Perhaps you could add a note like ‘Beach Hideaway 2.00% + 18% optional additions’ or something like that?
Question, I put out all my Springfield Heights Buildings, and my bonus percent read 375.45%. I did the Gulp n blow trick and got $476 in cash. So I didn’t get any “hidden bonus” from having the multiple heights buildings out. Am I doing something wrong or has the hidden bonus been taken away? Thanks. Love this page. Visit it often. Keep up the great work you guys!!
The Springfield Heights buildings offer a hidden bonus, which is “hidden” (doesn’t show up on the Conform-o-Meter), because it only applies to XP, not cash.
Thanks!! This place has the best information!!
I wonder if you buy 1 item, it gives one advantage. If you buy several (like the dumpster) is the advantage multiplied?
Yeo!
I’m sure this has already been asked, but do you need Billionaire”s Island for xp bonus to kick in?
No.
I wonder about my hidden xp bonus. It is 154.1 and I would like to know where the remaining 1.1 come from. Does anybody have an idea?
I’d say it was a math error on your part. I have something like 179% hidden bonus because originally there was a glitch with S.H. where if you stored certain buildings it would allow you to build extra ones. If I had known at the time that these buildings carried bonus % I would have definitely taken advantage of the glitch.
hi
for sure someone already asked this
which item has the best ratio between cash and %
the list above just show the % but not how much the item cost
thank you
Jet Engine Bike (pricing isn’t on here because it’s constantly jumping around with rebates offered). Also the Beach Hideaway fully upgraded is a great deal.
Of items you can purchase, the Jet Engine Bikes have a beautiful 15:1 ratio, with 30 donuts getting you 2% bonus. 20:1 is a good ratio, so anything below that is awesome.
However, even better than 15:1 for Jet Engine Bikes is the Mr. Burns Premium Mystery Box. If you spend a couple hundred donuts buying 6 donut Mystery Boxes, you’ll be awarded quite a few News Vans (2%) and Itchy & Scratchy Billboards (1%). Typically when you spend at least 100 donuts, you’ll go up 10-15%, with an amazing ration typically around 9:1 or less.
I think there are now two versions of the Chicken Coop as well. None of the ones I crafted during the Winter 2017 event give me any increase in percentage bonus.
This list is great. Do you know when it will be updated? It looks like the last update was in November 2016.
There’s now bonus XP payout for some of the pricier crafting items from the 2015 Christmas Event that have returned as “Mystery Presents”. There’s 1% for the Giant Outdoor Fireplace, and 0.5% each for the Ice Sculpture Couch Gag Scene and the Fancy Igloo. I expect there’s a payout for “Christmas Clams $50 a Pound”, too, but I don’t have one of those.
I’ve stored and re-placed the Bart Snowman and I don’t see a bonus change. Are you sure this is a bonus item?
do any of these items just cost money instead of donuts?
Hello all
Do you need to place all of the SH buildings in your town in order for the hidden bonus to have effect or can you leave it in the inventory?
Great list. Need to add Donut truck for 2% bonus.
My Snowball II Snowcat only ups my vanity 🙁
Read the note on the post about when you got the snowpeople/animals
Good morning!! Was wondering if the BBQ pig or the jet bike had a character task?
I don’t think either
Does anyone know if they will bring back any of the Springfield Heights buildings to the store? I’m stuck at $157M and there’s not much available in the store to help me gain real estate points to finish the last two levels. Any tips? Thanks!!!
http://tstoaddicts.com/2016/06/01/tapped-out-store-where-are-the-aspirational-springfield-heights-items/
Read that post…there are LOADS of SH items in the store
Thank you so much!!! 😁 I hadn’t realized they reorganized the store.
Do i need to upgrade the building to get the % bonus? Or I only have to buy them and i can just let it at lvl 1… Because I hated the SH event
I got like 1M points with the poor Cookie… Now with the x4 I managed to get The ziff mansion and i’m going for the last prize
I’m also thinking of buying 1 bungalow… I only have 61 donuts and i wanted to save for the halloween event…
Only the Private Island Needs to upgraded to at least level 2, everything else is ok as is.
Not to be ungracious, but,
It is spelled
COW TONGUES
not
COW TOUNGES
y’all are AH-mazing! grabbed ALL my heights buildings out of storage along with a few things i had no idea were maximizers. but now i find myself outside of my casually obsessed tapper bubble and head first into totally obsessed tapper status (dishes and laundry can do themselves, right?) to max out on this springfield heights bonus weekend. beach hideaways? 5 fully upgraded! billionaire status? check! bonus percentage? over 200%, and that’s not including my hidden heights bonus! pretty sure i’ll stay away from donut farming though. just seems like too much effort… hold on, my 12 min timer to collect pharmaceuticals just went off…..
Wow, Awesome Info!! Thanks so much for this, and for all you all do!! Funny thing, with the SH event I got and have upgraded all the beach houses, and am quickly on my way to finally reaching $1B (prior to this Cookie Kwan was the hardest working woman in my Springfield, and my only real way of increasing my SH value). After some buying and upgrading I happened to check my bonus % and was Shocked, SHOCKED!, to find it went another 90-100% (now at 322%). Figured it must have had something to do with those beach bungalows I bought and some of the other SH upgrades – but this chart proves it, and so much more. Thanks again!!!!! 🙂😊😘😉👏
Thanks for this, it must have taken some time lol
I took all my modern mansions out of storage and saw no change in how much xp was generated by the simspons house. Am I missing something?
The Simpson’s house earns too little to be a good test…try it with a white house, instead.
Great work guy’s with all these chart post’s. A hell amount of work put into them. Just now my bonus from conformity & decorations is sitting at 447.40% with what ive done with my town once i get the corners done i should be around the 500 mark. Not to sure if that’s low or just average. I only place what i need, i don’t do farming now as don’t have the time as i did before when i farmed blue houses. You guy’s have definitely taken it to the next level though, hat off to you all that do! For me im just looking forward to finishing my town before the Halloween udate kicks in, as will leave some room for any new stuff we get!
Thanks again for all the hard work you’ve put in much appreciated! From marky-mark and the funky bunch!
I am currently at Level 112 and have $3.25 Million, 175 donuts and maxed out Springfield Heights resources. Unfortunately, I only have 25.5% total bonus.
What would be the best way for me to quickly increase my XP bonus?
Right now purchasing the Hideaways for 40 donuts and upgrading them
http://tstoaddicts.com/2016/09/22/should-you-buy-and-everything-else-you-need-to-know-about-the-beach-hideaway/
Keep in mind that the XP bonus % is *hidden* – you can’t see it in your Conform-o-Meter.
@Sandrashill – When I click on my Conform-o-meter, I see the following:
Total Bonus from Conformity and Decorations: 25.50% Money and XP
Are you saying that this isn’t the XP bonus?
That’s one of them – the one that applies to both cash and XP and is visible. The Springfield Heights buildings offer a bonus percentage that applies to XP only, and that percentage isn’t visible anywhere…you have to calculate it for yourself.
Ah…so the Conform-o-meter doesn’t include the Springfield Heights XP bonus?
Thanks for the awesome list!
A comment about the Private Island. I *believe* the hidden XP bonus only kicks in when you’ve upgraded it to Level 2, and that there’s no bonus at all for Level 1. Also, though not explicitly stated, the bonuses for the Springfield Heights features are for *each* building you construct, not just the first one.
