Pros:
-Cool, unique looking building. Will go nicely in Springfield Heights
-Impacts consumerism, always nice to have another building there
-Short questline associated with it
-Lisa has a 4hr task there, Keep Bookaccino’s from Going Under ($260, 70xp)
Cons:
-building animation is weak…lights turn on and the doors open
-Pricing for just a building…
Final Thought:
Premium
This is one of those toss up items. Personally, I think you should save your donuts and grab another Beach Hideaway OR save your donuts for Halloween. No task associated with this, so unless you’ve got an affection for the building…pass.
Freemium
Pass. Freemium players should pass this one over, grab the hideaway…and save the rest of your donuts for Halloween. Skip this one, you ain’t missing much.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you I’ll likely be passing on this one. Just doesn’t excite me as a premium item…. Of course whatever you decide just remember this is limited time and will be leaving our games very soon (October 4th). So if you’re thinking about grabbing it, do it very soon before it’s gone for good!

Finally decided to spend all my donuts on the beach hideaways. Now own them all! Feels good. Just need to arrange the newest three. LOVE IT!
Weird, I can no longer apply to anyone’s post, but wanted to say thanks to the Addict above who mentioned the beach hideaway; as a freemium player who doesn’t do hacks or whatever, I hoard my donuts as much as possible, but that’s a crazy large bonus, not to mention the millions in real-estate points from upgrading (and not needing tons of yoga mats to do so, something I always look for since everything requires them, I have excess of everything else at all times).
Will the beach hideaway stay available permanently after the 4th?
No one knows for sure. So buy all you can afford now. 🙂
I love large bookstores but they are a dying breed. In Singapore , they only left one kinokuniya still operating.
When I saw that beach hideaway I immediately thought it would be a total pass for me, as a freemium player. But with Alissa saying so many times that we must grab one, I’m starting to reconsider. lol

20% bonus is hard to pass up. Eve if you don’t XP Farm, it’s still a nice boost to your cash collecting.
I was excited about this one and bought it right away, purely because I used to work at Books A Million in the cafe, so this building just tickles me.
I was expecting Boccaccio’s to come with TR Francis in a Angelica Button mini-event.
Is there a game bug right now that we know of? My fiancé lost his game last night and is back to level 1 inexplicably (still hoping EA can fix that) and now my game is no longer giving me the x4 resources. -_-

The game setting back to level one has happened to me before. To fix it all you need to do is uninstall the game, reinstall it, and sign back in and then you should have everything back to normal.

Thanks so much for the advice! I was aware of the uninstall/reinstall and did that to his game immediately. It didn’t work. He emailed EA and they said give it 24 hrs. It’s passed 24 and no change soooooo another EA visit. Just so sad to see another addict in crisis.
