NOTE: it looks like the has FINALLY hit the UK Kindle stores…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a quick note…a short while ago EA released a server side patch in our games.  This patch..RESTORES THE BONUS % FOR THE BEACH HIDEAWAYS!  Yes, now it’s back to paying the 20% per hideaway (if fully upgraded).

This patch has also, it appears, corrected the Monster Timer Glitch.  Thank goodness because it was getting old!

I’m checking to see if anything else change, those were the two I noticed right away.

So thank you EA for fixing the issues quickly.  Although it’s frustrating they were there to begin with….

But in the end…I guess my angry socks worked 😉

  1. When I went to play this afternoon I was logged out. When I logged in I received a message saying that there was an error processing my log in. It has been going on for hours now!!!

  2. The TSTO did an update Oct 24th. Now my game keeps shutting down or freezing up on my android tablet. Noticed I have only flying monsters no walking ones. Don’t mind that but am tired of game freezing up or just shutting down. Anyone else having problems.

    • The walking ones are gone now..just flying ones appear, that’s for everyone.

      As far as freezing…try hard closing TSTO, clearing your cache, uninstalling TSTO, restarting your device and then reinstalling TSTO. Often that helps. (as long as you have an EA/Origin Account created to back up your game)

  3. So I started my game today, saw Gil advertising the new Holloween deal and then the screen went black. I tried shutting down, reinstalling and just waiting but nothing is happening. Any advice on this one?

    For some reason, on my game right now I can’t seem to be able to tap the flying monsters. It lets me tap the walking ones and it used to let me tap the flying ones but now it doesn’t. Any thoughts or suggestions?

  5. I’m having problems trying to get my game to load. It gets past the login screen then the spinning donut freezes and there’s no progress whatsoever. I get this with both my iPhone and my kindle fire, plus I’ve tried at my sisters house, so it’s not a problem on my end. 😭 This is so infuriating, I haven’t been able to log in all day. Anyone have an idea what’s wrong? 😣

    • Edit: I have just been able to sign into my brothers account on my kindle fire, yet my account is still not working 😭😭

    • I’m having the same problem on my android phone. I tried the fixes EA suggested but they didn’t help. I hope this issue gets straightened out soon.

      • After 3 days EA have finally ‘solved’ the problem by rolling back my game a few days before it struck, only now I’m down a level, extremely behind on the Halloween act 1, missing a character I purchased, suffering from tapped out withdrawals and have to wait a couple of hours for everything to settle back down before playing again AND have been informed that the game will catch up with itself and suffer from the same problem. 😭😭

        • I’m glad you’re able to play again, but it’s sad that you’ve been set back and nothing’s really been fixed. Did they tell you what caused the problem? I’ve been going back and forth with customer service the past couple days waiting on a fix. Maybe this problem is widespread enough where EA will have to provide a real solution.

          • I have since gotten ea to ring me, cause I really really want my character back 😢 But I was told that this is a known issue and that technical support are trying to fix it. They flat out refused to give me my character back as of yet, because they weren’t sure that it wouldn’t fix itself. He then told me that they normally fix the problem within 5-7 working days and that if I’m still missing my character, or suffering more problems then I should contact them on Monday.
            I really hope you get your game sorted out soon, cause I really really wouldn’t be sane if I was still in your situation 😢

  6. Is anyone having a problem where it says you are logged out but then your password is invalid? I’ve tried clearing the cache, uninstall and reinstalling on both my tablet and my phone…. Nothing. Anyone resale having this problem?

  7. Seems like my problem with the feral monsters (small monsters) not running up to my MAG office has been partially fixed by this update. They are now showing up again but after a long wait, not immediately like earlier in the event.

    I found I could get them to start showing up sooner if I go into edit mode, grey out buildings, and searching behind all my buildings. (They are very hard to see and you probably won’t notice any that aren’t moving. The clouds don’t help at all). Once I find one I exit edit mode and tap it. That seems to get them to start showing up at the MAG office quicker.

    Hope that helps out anyone else who is sitting there waiting in vain for feral monsters to show up.

  11. I’ve not been able to connect to my game for close to 18 hours! I’m on a kindle and i tap to open, and it says sync – then just drops me out. Anyone else? I’ve contacted ea…..

    • Oh dear god – i had to delete the game from my kindle and reload it – scary!!! But it worked – now i’ve got to catch up – i’m a day behind! reall scary halloween stuff! lol.

  13. Hello Addicts, I just encountered a glitch that at this point is small but could be bigger later. I just purchased a “spooky bramble” bush which in turn got me to level 5 at the construction yard, I was never given the option to place the item and just got the message telling me that I leveled up the yard, after clicking “ok” I was assuming that I would be prompted to place the bush but was not. I have checked my inventory multiple times before coming here. Now you might think “its only a bush”, yes but, what if it happens again when you craft the catacombs, or other high value items? Anyone else have this problem?

    • Double check your entire inventory list (what you first see when you go into your inventory, not individual icons)…

      • From EA : It seems that we’re just experiencing some latencies with our servers right now and I really am sorry for the inconvenience this issue is causing you. The item should be on your account within the next 24 hours after our servers re-sync. Just in any case though that the issue still remains, please contact us back using the same case number as I have noted everything here for you.

  14. I’m not sure if I’m just overlooking something, but at what point can we use more than one character to gang up in the monster battles?

  15. I still get the wrong password message. It’s been 3 days. E.a. hasn’t helped me. Anyone else stuck too?

  16. Do other Springfield Heights buildings work this way, where you have to have all level 5 items out for a bonus? Most of my expansion items are in inventory, since I’m running out of room.

    • No, the hidden bonus is not impacted by Level, except for the island (that has to be at level 2). The beach hideaway is not a hidden bonus, it’s a standard. So it’s a bit different.

  17. Not sure if this is the place to post this, but…. Is anyone else totally frustrated by poor design of town square? The cobblestone roads don’t even line up properly with the hub. Total waste of what could have been a great feature, but instead it is useless. They seem to have this same problem with some fencing coming together at corners. Aaarrrghhhh! Okay all better now….

  18. I know there was a patch that was released, but it didn’t seem to solve my “only two monsters at a time” issue. I still can only fight two monsters, even though I’ve been playing since the update was released. I stopped hard closing my game (until the patch came out), so I briefly had 4 monsters; now I’m back to 2 no matter what I do.

    • Do you only get two monsters….even after eight hours? Or do you only have two players who can fight monsters ?

      • I also have this problem. I’ve tried hard closing and not hard closing my game, but I only ever have 2 monsters available at any one time. I have all fighters available, but never more than 2 monsters. Usually the blue/yellow monsters. I did have a yellow monster that let me use 2 fighters at once, which earned 50 film strips more (I think). A little worried that I am missing out on a lot of the film strips because I was counting on monsters stockpiling overnight and while I’m at work.

      • Only two monsters. I have lots of players, but only two monsters for them to fight.

    • Same thing here. Got two monsters in the last 9.5 hours.
      As for the overall progress : Lost in La Monstra Pt. 4

      • Finished the quest. I still only get two monsters at a time max to fight. Left my game overnight for 9 hours to see only two monsters to fight this morning.

  19. Anyone unlock the small obol pack prize? I unlocked it and it didn’t raise the total I had. I tried contacting EA, but they removed the option to send an email, and chatting is not an option on my phone (never loads). Going to try reporting it in the morning…just curious if anyone else had this happen.

    • Never mind…I found that this prize only gives you 10 Obols. I thought it was more…so when I saw 16 Obols total in my game (I was visiting neighbors when the prize unlocked, so I didn’t pay attention to my total earlier), I thought the prize didn’t actually pay out.

      I confirmed this with EA support, so…yeah. My mistake!

      Though…10 obols from the prize track? Seems a little low…

      • You found the real prize ! An EA employee who knew it was only 10 😋 I was on chat then phone call and was told they had no information on what it was the amount. While on hold while they tried to talk to a specialist, I found a chat thread stating it was only 10. Crazy waste of time for me and them. I still have some other glitches but not sure if the calling is worth it

        • Yeah, there are unfortunately those in EA support that have no idea what they are talking about. Can’t remember what it was, but there was a glitch during an event that a rep told me I’d need to have my game rolled back to a save point several days prior. I’d lose donuts and event progress.

          Later turned out it was a glitch EA had to fix. Had I gone with this rep, my problem wouldn’t have been fixed.

          I get that they might hire people that don’t fully understand every game they make, but don’t make stuff up, you know?

  20. I only have 2 monster spawning at any given time. Has EA addressed this?

    2) Heck, I need to donate more!! I use Gift cards and leftovers but now I feel bad. Is that enough??
    3) The game could end?! … Soon!?

    In all seriousness, I actually got really scared, sad and angry when you said that the game could end because some people hack there way through a game!
    Please don’t pull the plug soon EA. Spread content around. Longer breaks between lulls, more donut deals (because mathematically and logically that is what is going to get you more money (talking to EA!)).

    Managed to calm myself down by reading through the bracket challenge and all the characters that EA need to add before they end 😃

  22. I don’t know if this is a glitch, but after the last patch, land prices in Krustyland are half of what they used to be for the same square.
