Can you believe the 600th episode of The Simpsons is airing this Sunday?! 600 episodes! Wow!
And it’s only appropriate that the 600th episode of the best.show.ever. work out to be the 27th Treehouse of Horrors! To celebrate the upcoming episode EA’s released a fun little episode tie-in to get us in the THOH mood! (as if the update wasn’t doing that already..)
So let’s break down the details of this tiny tie-in….
Note: Dialogue spoilers below, so if you don’t want to know don’t click below. However, I will tell you you’ll need Bart, Milhouse & Martin free to complete the main questline…
When you start up your game you’ll be greeted with a questline waiting for you from Bart. …
Glucose Games Pt. 1
Bart starts
Milhouse: These fancy houses give out the most candy! Rich people are so stupid.
Bart: Tell me about it. I’m already filling up my second pillowcase.
Milhouse: That’s not fair! I’m working with this tiny plastic pumpkin! Same one I use as a lunchbox off season.
Martin: Might I suggest we share candy? Each of us with the exact same amount of milk chocolate, dark chocolate and of course, nougat.
Bart: Why don’t you two compete in a test of endurance, winner take all? You know, like they did in the old days.
Make Milhouse and Martin Race Across the School Gym- 6s, Earns $70, 2xp (requires BOTH Milhouse and Martin to be free)
Milhouse: I would have won if I didn’t get scared by my reflection in that window.
Martin: And had it not been for an unscheduled asthma attack, I would have won the candy. My lungs have cursed me again.
Bart: And yet, here we are in a double disqualification land — population, you two losers. We’re going to need to expand the scope of these games. I’m thinking teams and districts…and wildly elaborate CG costumes!

Bart: I got a system. I eat the good ones and let the gross or healthy ones go into the pot.

Bart: The candy is gone! Those rich neighborhood kids too it all! Let’s hit that neighborhood and get our candy back!
Martin: But what if they retaliate and we end up in a never-ending cycle of violence?

I’ve got buyers remorse. Lol . I never regreted spending donuts on such an eyesore. I thought that the kids would be able to battle in there or something. The “glass” is so dark it’s hard to see any details. I definetly say pass pass PASS. Enjoying everything else though. 🎃😊
For once, I might actually skip an item, the dome. 1) I don’t have the funds for donuts right now, 2) 150 donuts is hard to swallow for that (even though I’ve bought other stuff at crazy prices).
I’m at a cross roads on it.
I’m glad the questline was super short. I was not really thrilled by the sign, but since it was free and didn’t take more than a couple of minutes, it doesn’t hurt.
So many premium items this year, and I have a lot of donuts to spend, so it’s hard to pick and choose. Going to have to pass on the battle dome. I mostly go for characters, cheap multipliers, or items that are just too cool (like the Ghost Ship – although I haven’t pulled the trigger on that just yet).
Did they do something with the coin drop rate?
If they don’t then crafting will be the toughest and most annoying quest of the whol thoh event.
And i don’t like to get annoyed all the time – for that reason i uninstalled quahog.
Hold off on being annoyed… I’ve learned to trust EA, because, the few times they’ve set something up that was completely unrealistic, they made changes that made the goals attainable by the end of the event.
I still think the 1st Tree house of horror is the best, with the bad dream house and the Edgar Allen Poe raven story! I also use to like the beginning when Marge would come out and warn the parents! They don’t make them as good as they use to anymore.
I literally spent my last dollar on scratchers and only ended up with 138 sprinkles, can anyone spot me $10?

I’m a winter wuss. Once the daily highs drop below 70, I go into hibernation.
Maybe you should move to someplace more to the south (but urban)? On the plus side, my mom said they’re forecasting 80° in NYC (or maybe NJ)
I almost moved to San Francisco but once I fell in love with New York. ..the winters are better here than in South Dakota where I grew up.
And then of course there is the famouse Mark Twain quote…”the coldest winter I ever experienced was summer in San Francisco.” Fall is gorgeous in SF… Summer’s are foggy and overcast.
I’m good where I’m at. In the summer I walk, even if it’s two hours and I love to stop in all sorts of places
In the winter I walk as fast as I can to the nearest subway, get where I’m going, then go home
And I may be in a minority here but I love hot, sticky, sweaty smelly NY summers.

SF winters are definitely milder (and little, if any, snow), but it feels colder because no one turns the damned heat on! And SF summers are much colder (although spring can be very hot, especially if you go at all inland). A lot of my relatives who were originally from NYC have moved to the Bay area, much to my unhappiness. (I mean, the Bay area was a lovely place to visit, but now that I can’t really travel there anymore, I don’t get to see those relatives very often, and I actually LIKE them! This includes my baby nephew, who’s going to grow up not really knowing his only real aunt. 🙁 )
I’ll visit someday but I love NY so I’ll deal with it. I spend my time running from place to place but don’t walk anywhere unless absolutely necessary. I tend just to wander around in the summers, winter is run for the subway. It’s kind of fun. Downtown Brooklyn is having a skyscraper boom. I live just on the east side of Clinton Hill so last spring after months I walked over the crest of the hill and I was like “holy heck. ..where did that come from?”. The down side is I used to watch the fire works from Ft Green park on top the hill, now the Brooklyn Bridge and the river are blocked by towers and only a few fireworks make it above the buildings. Oh well.

At first I thought the prize would be the battle dome because of the task book icon. I was kind of disappointed, but it is a cool sign.
anybody else having a problem with the game mine kicked me out and when i try to log back in it says wrong password
Off topic but any idea what i can do to stop my game from crashing when visiting neighbors it happens randomly every so many neighbors I visit.
Buy the latest new device and only load TSTO on it so it can hog ALL the memory.😐😂😣

The Battle Dome is super massive….I can’t even imagine trying to get that to look like it belongs in my Springfield but…I kinda want it. Decisions decisions…lol
As a Simpsons movie fan I had to have the dome. It may not be THE dome but its a dome and that close enough for me. I bought it right away and didn’t look back. LOL
Funny – I debated the same thing, but after seeing the full sized version in a neighbours’ town, it wasn’t close enough for me, so I decided it’s a pass.
It’s Halloween, I am in a “buy everything” mood – no way that Battle Dome gets by me…
Although I already regret the Island. Looks kinda cool, but it feels useless. No payout no questline. Plus, my water space is rapidly filling, and I didn’t even put out all the Beach Hideaway-upgrades yet.
The old “too much stuff, too little space & time” problem. Where TSTO is concerned I am a Hoarder 😉
You’re not alone, here. People have been complaining about the inadequate water space for awhile now… but somehow, I’m expecting that when we finally see the availability of the coveted third (and fourth) rows of water, they’ll be accompanied by an event to crowd our waters further still.

A side quest? to take two coin producing trick or treaters and have them produce film canisters instead?
Hopefully I can do this quest later….
Each task is only six seconds apeace, so you can definitely squeeze it in without losing progress in trick-or-treating.
