We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

For those wondering like I was, the Forest Grove trees are not the same trees we got from the previous event. These ones are about twice the size, and the layout of the trees is a bit different when you place them on the land. Similar animation when tapped however, the eyes light up like the other set of trees.

Hi all- loving my first Halloween event. Great prizes- I like the spooky forest.
Not having problem you guys are with the non- tappable dogs but I seem to have to hit the cameras about 4 times for each one to disappear which is a bit of a bind. As with the Casino event I get sort of confused about what I should be spending for crafting (what are the film strip things saving for- will they ever be spendable???) but seem to be progressing anyhow so all is good. I love the new movie theatre- that is a super animation. I am just confused about witch marge- says do 4 hr task for speed up plant growing so stupidly hit the 90 day task and she does not seem to speed up anything. On the plus side, fun dialogue and animations make me laugh and when I get to visit neighbours and they seem to have been tapped out I noticed that for this event you can get to krustyland and tap cameras there – perk as I love to visit folks krustylands anyway 🙂 have fun all x
What I’ve learned about clearing the neighbor taps is that the crosshairs are just slow to disappear. Tap them to clear them, then, if you hear the harp sound and see the clapboard (or whatever the current currency is) float away, just wait a few seconds and the crosshairs will disappear on their own….no need to tap more than once. Also, you can clear the neighbor tap until you’ve collected any money (or whatever) that needs to be collected. So, if you see the cash symbol and the crosshairs, you’ll need to tap that building twice – one to collect the cash and one to collect the camera tap.
Witch Marge’s crop speeding task is awesome! It essentially shortens the growing time by an extra four hours each time you use it. But, you’re right…if you’re growing corn, it’s still gonna take a long time for it to be done, even with her help. If you want to cancel the corn planting, just store and replace the farm. (But, remember, that will also store Cletus, so don’t do that when he’s fighting a monster or something!)

I’m trying to be more social … through social media, I wish I can change my name on Facebook or even understand how to use it (I feel like an old person whom never used it before [though I really haven’t used it]).
I wonder if there is an easier social media format out there…
Twitter?
I find Twitter to be less user-friendly, unless you use a Twitter app, like Hootsuite. Even then, that 144 character limit can make it take longer to send a message, because you often have to do some “creative” editing. Plus, I found that most of my friends, relatives, and coworkers don’t really “do” Twitter…they’re all on Facebook.

Love some advice. I have around 140 donuts and gain about 10 a day. Probably can keep that up for about another week. Halloween has never been my favorite, Christmas always has been. However, more than both, I love getting a good deal. I have been mulling over the 60 donut pumpkin deals. I would be happy with any of my options, though ideally I would like to get witch marge. Should I spend what I have now in the hope of getting two good deals, or continue to hold donuts for better deals coming down the pipe? What would you do?
That’s a tough one…. Witch Marge is awesome to have….her crop speeding is so helpful for keeping on track, if you’re a Triffids farmer, like I am. (So, for example, I slept late this morning and don’t want to have my Triffids crop suffer from timeslip, so I have Witch Marge doing her thing right now to get me back in sync.) The problem is, I don’t know anything about the odds of getting her. Also, I know a lot of us are hoping for a Black Friday sale… I know I’m not really helping here, but I do agree that you have a valid dilemma. The only other option (if you have a decent XP multiplier, income, and cash stash) is to maybe do some Kwik-E-Mart farming to bulk up your donut stash. Or, you could, you know, just buy some donuts….I suspect that I’ll be doing that come the Black Friday sale (if there is one)… I’ve got over $100 in iTunes credits saved up, thanks to QuickThoughts!

My personal choice would be to wait,(especially since you may not get witch Marge)
I don’t have witch Marge myself, so I’m not sure how helpful she is to have, But I would choose to wait for the Christmas event/nice new Christmas items. 🙂
I also read other comments that people said she DOESN’T come with her cauldron (i’m not sure if this affects what she can do or not?) -unless you already have her cauldron?
I guess it depends too if you prefer to get characters to complete the “character sets” or if you prefer items/buildings to decorate your town.

Although my personal choice is still as mentioned above, I’m Sorry, I think I may have been incorrect with thinking that Marge doesn’t come with her couldron. I read a comment that someone Already has witch Marge but not the couldron I think I read it as “she doesn’t come with the Cauldron” (but they had purchased her in a previous event) sorry 😐 Alissa, or anyone who has won Marge in the mystery pumpkin, can you please confirm if Marge does come with her couldron? 🐱🌟🌸

I tried my hand at the mystery pumpkin twice hoping to get the nightmare pile and unfortunately i didn’t get it. I got the skin for Luann and the sepulcher for mr. Burns. I might try 2 more times if i can make $50 doing surveys before event ends. Though i might want to save for black friday. Oh well for nightmare pile..

Honestly thank you addicts for the add me page. I never would have gotten this far workout it but I’ll no longer be using it. It took me a year to go through my pending requests. For the first time since I started playing I have less than the max.
I just don’t visit neighbors like I used to. Watching a doughnut spin while waiting for load times is fun but I can’t do it anymore.
I enjoy visiting my real life friends’ towns and people I “know” from here but not interested anymore in visiting town after town after town.

I don’t know if this is a WordPress thing or what, but it’s seriously pissing me off and I can’t find a way to make it stop.
I’ve had the same problem when accessing the site through my phone but not when using my Kindle or computer.
In case EA is reading…… *please*, release single items from bundles so we can buy them separately for those of us who are disqualified from buying a bundle. I feel we are getting shafted just because we already own an item from a bundle we get no chance at the other stuff we don’t have. Like me, I got Witch Marge last year but I don’t have her cauldron. Please EA help us out.
I just got the expected update that prepares for round 2. It is going around, so expect it. Just the usual routine…
A little help??? I’ve been locked out of my game since yesterday morning. It seems like it won’t recognize my login info, both in the game and trying to log into the EA site. I’ve contacted EA (Yet to hear back). Have you guys come across this before? Any suggestions beyond contacting EA? I CAN access my B game, just not my A Game. Thanks!!
Happened to me on Sunday. I ended up uninstalling/reinstalling then it let me back in. Good luck.
I contacted EA’s customer service about not being able to tap rat-dog-monsters and got a reply along the lines of “it’s a bug and nothing we can help you with” and a couple of suggestions for community driven help services (the forums and something called EA Answers or something similar). I don’t know how the community is supposed to be able to help me with a bug if customer service can’t. She promised to forward my mail “to our concern department”, whatever that is, and wrote “However You are my valuable player so I adding 20 donuts in your account”.
How about that? I am her valued player. Jealous? Yeah I thought so. In your face non-valued player! 😉
I’m on Level 8 at the Construction Yard, and I’m running out of items to craft that will earn MAG Points. I was hoping to level up the Construction Yard and the Monster Actors Guild at the same time, but I’ve hit a wall. And I’m so close to unlocking a trick-or-treat task! Oh, well. Maybe EA will release some new items in the store this week. Those usually earn a ton of MAG Points.
Usually the prizes yield ~250 MAG points with about ~300 Obols between levels. I just hit ~11 (?) and started crafting street lamps. First eight cost 20 Obols and yield 20 MAGS, so a good return on investment – even if you don’t want street lights and prefer pyres or hay wagons etc.
I’d love some proper bridges in this game that can go over stuff, not like the ones where water flows under.

So, with events like these, do the other mathematics junkies like me worry when they don’t have 300 tapable buildings to accommodate your neighbourinos? I know I have been a bit remiss in my tapping friends, so to speak, but I’m trying to aim for at least 2-4 neighbourino rounds per week… busy times. My lil baby just became really expensive, working to ensure champagne lifestyle is maintained 🙂

I just logged in to finally get the last donuts for the crazy cat lady bundle. The first thing that happened was that I tapped on the monster fighters that had finished their fights and that gave me enough film for my second bonut round in this act. Three bonuts on the first try (I never retry, I always take what I get in the first box). This made me happy of course. Too bad that I only could be happy for a couple of seconds before I realized that I can’t tap my flying rat-dog-monsters anymore. Well I can tap them of course, they just don’t care. A few of them could be tapped but most of them could not be. And the non flying rat-dog-monsters are weird too, some of them just disappear without giving a reward when I tap them. Very annoying. I was thinking that maybe, maybe I could get another bonuts round before next act but I can forget about that now, that’s for certain. I’ve contacted the support about this and I’m sure that I’m not the only one who have done that.
Oh well, no time to write anymore, gotta make room for the patch they will surely release soon. Usually I need nearly 1.5 gb free for their 10 mb patches.
I’m experiencing the same bug with the flying rats. I keep tapping, but nothing is happening.
So, there are several things in the game that seem difficult to place properly, make them look good, make them look like they fit in the overall town. I uncreatively call these “design challenges,” and wonder how my fellow addicts who like designing might deal with them. (Yeah, I can check out my neighbors, but I can’t be neighbors with everyone!)
So, my most recent design challenge was the ghost ship.

The Ghost Ship can be anchored on boardwalk. 🙂
I tossed a boardwalk tile out into the ocean and moored my ghost ship there. It’s angled to look like the ship is docked at the Squidport.
I put my ghost ship just behind the abandoned warehouse, so it looks like the chain is linked to the top of the roof, can’t see the anchor.
