Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Our games have turned dark, the water is mucky and the trees have changed colors….it must be Halloween in Springfield!
The Halloween Event Act 2 arrived this morning and with it arrived, not only various monsters invading our pocket-sized Springfields, but a whole new questline to work our way through!
As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 2 runs until November 1st, and you’ll need Lisa free to get things started with an 8hr task.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what you need to do get rid of those Monsters and help Lisa get into a good school (you know if she ever ages beyond 8)….

What does “Make Springfielders Consider their Options” even mean? New to this game and it doesn’t point me to a specific person or place, plus nobody seems to have a job available that satisfies this requirement. So frustrating!

When I finished the act 2 quests it said something about Act 3 involving Krustylu Studios? Anyone else get that message?

Tap on the brown house. You’ll need Mr. Burns or Blue Haired Lawyer atleast.
I’m in part 9 and No one can Consider their opinion is there specific characters that can or is it a bug
i keep looking at Count Burns Castle and keep thinking what a great ride that would be for Krustyland. I wish they would let us use some of this stuff especially the halloween stuff – in Krusty land.

I do wish EA wouldn’t give tasks to characters that can earn event currency. Thankfully, there are several options for fighting big monsters, but taking Cletus out for 24 hours seems a little unnecessary.
For the movie theme it’s too bad they didn’t just mirror what they did for the wild west event.. At the end it would play a small clip with all the cool stuff you collected..
Missed opportunity EA..
Maybe they’ll do something like that at the end of the event…we’re only on Part 2, with several weeks still left to go!

Have heard lots of positive things re mutant, but Sherri and Terri do seem to crop up a lot where kids go collecting.
So which would you choose?
I just got the space mutant😊😊 Im waiting for Black Friday to see if Sherri and Terri is on sale.
In my opinion, I would go with the Space Mutant. It’s limited time, and the Drive In is one of THE best buildings I’ve ever had. You can choose 4 movies to play on there, which you can see a bit of through the animation that plays, and it makes you money too, and all of the choices are easily used for a great return, as they all only cost 10 bucks. The Space Mutant also has a fun little questline, and tons of hilarious animations. You won’t really need Sherri and Terri for the event, as obols and clapboards are easily attainable as it is. I’d say the mutant is the way to go, if you’re willing to part with 150 donuts. But if you feel more attached with Sherri and Terri, since they’ve made several show appearances, you can go for them too, as they still can be very helpful in and out of the event, as they pay more than premium characters do. However, for trick or treating, they pay out like the Squeeky Voiced Teen, so they aren’t THAT helpful. The Mutant would make more clapboards than they do in the same amount of time.
Also the Space Mutant gets more Clapboards than Trick or Treaters will. Him and Booberella have 4 hour/50 clipboard jobs.
Both offer a little help in this event so it is advantageous to pick either one. But I say Space Mutant and Drive-In, hands down, if you only have enough sprinkles for one. Who knows if or when the Drive-In and Space Mutant will be offered again. Sherri and Terri are always available.
I grabbed the Space Mutant and Drive in last Halloween, and I have never had any regrets about it.

As James stated, he’s only around of a limited time, had I had my logical head on that might have clicked, but then I do have a good track record of picking the lesser option in this game :/.

Can someone help me? I saw Homer as a green blob (from an older THOH episode I think) in someone’s town while on my daily visits and I wonder what job causes Homer to do that. Or is it another character doing a job and impersonating Homer? Thanks in advance
That’s the space marshmallow from the the previous prize track.
The Space Marshmallow from Act 1 has a task/quest to emulate Homer.
Green blob (the prize) has a task to imitate Homer.

It’s the space blob on a tast to impersonate Homer.
This was the final prize in Act one…
Space Marshmellow from the previous act has a job that has him act like Homer, and it looks like how you described it, so that might be it. 🙂

What does that box full of goodies on the side margin that you can open/close do? I accidentally opened it up with a double tap before I read the explanation of what it does or what it’s for. All I know is that I can open and close it when I tap it. That’s it.
It just hides some of your older tasks in the task bar. Not much else…
Do you know of any way to put tasks in there yourself, rather than wait for app to do it? I’d really like to toss that golden bear in there (I’m NOT spending millions on making Monty’s mountain bigger).

An option to move unwanted tasks to the ‘box’ has long been an update i’d like to see. Like you and Patric, I would love to send the Golden Bear to the land of unloved toys.

My Bobo spends most of his time in the box, thought…I think the oldest stuff goes in there first. I only see Mr. Bobo between events, when I don’t have any other outstanding tasks.
If you haven’t finished Burns’ mountain can you still send him on a 1hr job for 210 bucks?
I never started the mountain…never wanted that monstrosity in my town (which is too bad, because I would have loved that skin for Burns).
I’m glad they keep reinforcing and building on the ‘movie making’ plot because we lost that in Act 1.
I hope it means we don’t get a movie event because there is so much movie themed (canon – non THOH) items that would be PERFECT for a movie event! PlEAse EA

Is there actually a story here? Are the monsters real? What does it have to do with making a movie? Why are kids trick-or-treating during the Hellpocalypse?

I might be tripping, but I swear my giant monsters keep disappearing before my pepz are done fighting them.
Still wish there were many shorter quests instead of a few long quests with a lot of mindless grinding in between.
Personally, I think events have become mindless grinding with no real thought on keeping the player engaged in the actual storyline behind the event.

Agreed! I barely understand what is going on story wise. I had more fun with the short quest lines I had when I purchased Kang and Kodos tbqh.
YES! I’ve completed lost interest in the silly “plot” and just keep tapping. This event is definitely mindless.
