It’s Halloween in our pocket-size Springfields! Yes that magical time of the year when our towns turn dark, our water becomes mucky, there are monsters everywhere to battle and (as with all events) there are LOADS of items to spend those sprinkles on!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Zombie Sandwich to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Zombie inducing dumpster to your Springfield…

Oh my gosh I love this! You can send multiple characters at once…and the animation is just awesome! Perfect if you want to have a zombie apocalypse in Springfield!

Honestly, this (in my opinion) is the BEST premium item of the entire event so far. While 100 donuts is a bit steep in price…seriously, it’s awesome. And unless you have a zombie phobia, you’ll regret it if you don’t grab this. The sheer fact it can send 34 characters AT ONCE on a 1hr premium task is awesome….
Freemium players, get this. BUT I will advise you to wait until Act 3 hits if you’re low on donuts…just in case one of the other new premium items to be released catches your eye. Fortunately it’ll hang around until the event is over, so you have some time to make sure you’ll have enough donuts to support the purchase…
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you as a premium player, I own it. I love it. But whatever you decide just remember this will be leaving our games soon, so make your final decision before it leaves our games on November 15th…

It is quite handy to make the usual characters to do a one hour premium job. It is like a mini version of the Unemployment Office (no need to pay an upfront fee)

After reading the post and the comments, looks like I’m going to have to use the XP generator and a few bloodmobiles/rat trap lorries to boost my donuts. Only have 60 at the moment but this looks too good to miss. Already regret not getting the clown bed to see the trick or treat costumes.
I bought it but tbh, I regret it. It’s got a good payout rate especially for 1 hour tasks (which I hardly use anymore) but somehow with this purchase I felt kind of lousy that I was trading donuts for just more (kinda worthless after a certain level) money. I know that’s what we do with EVERY purchase, in fact being able to get a payout is the entire point of purchasing these items, but this one just felt really really crappy.
Instead of thinking of it as trading donuts for more money, think of it as trading donuts more XP, which ultimately leads to more donuts! 🙂
Do the zombie jobs stick around after the event is over?
They should. They’re related to the item, not the event.
Thank you for the information on this item, which before I read your post I’d automatically dismissed it as a ridiculously overpriced dustbin.
But I really only want it if the jobs remain. Is there any way to find out about this?
It should remain, but we won’t know for 100% certainty until the event is over. But my money is on it staying, as it’s not a task related to the event..it’s a task associated with the item.
Did I miss Brooders commenting on this? I’m only sad that Mr Teeny didn’t get a skin to make her holiday complete. I’ve thought zombies were played out a long time ago, but I’m still getting it just for the fun of it.
I have just spent nearly an hour moving my ZS between my Super Heroes alley and my Glastonbury Festival area. By the time they get to the latter they are really hanging😂. This is easily the best item of this event to date. If I could improve it at all, I would have set it up as a pair so that the Zombies could walk from one dumpster to the other for the full hour. I would also have allowed us to toggle through a few select times, maybe even splitting the times between several Zombies if the game couldn’t handle the animation of 34 over too long a time period. Anyway, it’s never going to get tired & I’m never going to regret my purchase😍😍😍😍😍…..💜X
…..the more I think about it, the more I’d like a pair of dumpsters, like the teleporters. “PlEAse Sir can I have some more?”…..💜X

Black Friday is the Friday after the US holiday Thanksgiving when all the store have massive sales. It’s the start of the Christmas shopping season.

It’s called Black Friday because stores hope to move from the red (loss) to the black (profit) on their ledgers due to the start of serious Christmas shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. Big discounts to draw in customers and many people are off work for the four-day holiday weekend. When the shift to black doesn’t happen, that’s a sign of considerable consumer uncertainty, usually due to unemployment or fear of losing jobs.
