Just a reminder that Act 2 of the Halloween Event Ends TOMORROW November 1st at 0800 GMT (4am ET. Remember other countries may have set their clocks back, however in the US we have not. So 0800 GMT is still 4am ET for another week).
Once Act 2 is over you will no longer be able to earn Act 2 Prizes for free. So get everything you can before it’s all gone!
Crafting will STILL be available in Act 3. As will the Obols you’ve accumulated and the MAG points.

Be ready for Act 3 to start bright and early at 0800 GMT (4am ET) tomorrow morning (November 1st)….

I don’t understand how so many of you finished the THOH events and even got bonuts. I play far too often – not employed at the moment – but I haven’t had enough monsters to click on to get obols/clipboards/whatever else is needed, I keep the people who can fight monsters fighting monsters every four hours and the kids Trick or Treating, although I have quests waiting for Apu and Bart in particular that are just idling by – but I wasn’t able to get the Space Marshmallow or Death, and I didn’t have this sort of trouble completing past events. (I’m also less than thrilled that the game recommended I buy felons for Orphan Alley with donuts, which I did, and they disappeared within several months. Why was that a recommendation?) Am completely out of love with this game right now.
Are you sure the felons disappeared? They’re not NPCs – they’re just a skin for Orphan Alley (in other words, tap on Orphan Alley and you should see an option to change its appearance to one in which the felons are fighting). As for the game “suggesting” it, it does that randomly, with random items…you can just ignore those suggestions, as they have nothing to do with the event.
As for the feral beasts….If you have house farms or other densely packed buildings, the can get hung up inside of them. They generally like to gravitate to the MAG building, so make sure it has plenty of breathing room around it and a few clear paths to it and see if that helps. If not, try going into move mode and hiding all of your buildings and decorations and see if you can spot them that way.
Also, do you have 100 active neighbors? Neighbors can be very helpful in events like this. I get at least a couple of hundred of event currency (or more) a day just by visiting neighbors and having them visit me.
One last thing….how easy it is also depends on how many event-related characters you have. Some folks have lots of premium characters, some of which can be helpful. For example, Kearney and Jimbo were just add to the trick-or-treaters list this morning, but both are premium characters.

The flying rats seem to like to gather in a corner of the fence I put around the visible portion of the MAG building. They can easily walk or fly through it (so can characters) but they seem to linger longer with the fence. I just wait for a few to gather and poof them all together. Saves my tapping finger…
This is what I like in an event… I can painlessly and stresslessly earn all of the prizes without the threat of losing sleep and still faithfully play a few times a day. Too many of the events lately are too rigid with timing and make me think of giving up playing because of frustration. It’s not cool for people that work full time and have no option of checking phones. Events like these help me feel a little better.
I’ve been lazy during this act so I’m not ahead of schedule but not so lazy to get behind schedule either. I just unlocked Death with less than seven hours to go. There’s no point in trying to get any bonuts so I sent him on the first part of his quest line. Now it’s time to get some sleep (2.30 AM here) and then see what act three has to offer when I wake up. I’ll also be able to buy the zombie sandwich when I wake up although I’ll probably wait a while with that to see if something else interesting comes for sale in act 3.
Am I the only one who still isn’t exactly sure what’s going on with this event? I get what I’m supposed to be doing, but not sure the WHY part of it….
Surprised to read that you aren’t a fan of Halloween Alissa. I thought I was the only one.
You know what else you two have in common? You both despise Springfield Heights. At 97, Alissa is second last on my leaderboard with a REV of 1,000,983. And at 98 Swiss, you’re my only neighbour below 1 Billion at a REV of 696.070.
99-101 are all at 0 REV, but they are my dummy B/C/D towns. I only use in special events that need them and haven’t used them since Wild Wild West.

I really love SH. I’ve put it full of blingbling, like golden palms, walls and fences. I am at the top of the leaderboard for months nand months. (No I didn’t unfriend all the people, who are on a higher rank than I do.)
Working on my 6th round of bonuts already, eager for the next part!
Please help since Friday I haven’t been able to sign into my game don’t know what happened when I went to play game it had been signed out and I don’t know what email I used or password I used was on level 8 odd so upset not been able to play and seeing everything am missing out of I’ve tried all help lines but still not heard back from anyone please please help me
You need to contact EA support on this. If you don’t know your EA Origin account username, it could be tough. If you DO know your username, you should be able to reset your password.
Did much better in this Act. Act 1 I finished a few hours before the end, this time I am on track for three bonuts rounds before the end.
I did get Shauna and Crazy Cat lady though, which helps. Looking forward to Act 3.
I miss the days when we would login on the holiday and get a little bonus like a small premium item or a handful of donuts. I know EA has made it a lot easier to earn donuts over the past year, but those small gifts were a nice little thank you to the players.
My stupid brain got confused yesterday and thought the new act was starting today (even though I *know* it changes on Tuesdays), so I did all my changeover prep last night (including allowing more monsters to accumulate than I would have otherwise). SMH! I think I’m just kinda sick of this act and ready for the next one to begin. (Honestly, I’m kinda ready for this whole event to be over, unless there’s some really cool stuff coming in the next act…and I don’t care Booberella, so, if she’s coming, that won’t even count as “cool” for me.)
On the plus side, I’ll probably squeeze in one more round of bonuts! 🙂
I got my last round of Bonuts. Now I’m lining my monsters up in a row, sending my trick or treaters out and placing my Springfielders on 4 hour tasks.
Waiting for 1:00am PDT to arrive.
BTW, I’m getting a lot of 3 character monsters – hope everyone else is as well.

Is there any word if we can use clipboards to purchase crafting items? Maybe in act 3? You know like we did in the syfy event. I like having income from buildings that are free 🙂

Hopefully I can sneak another round of bonuts in this act (even though I’ve already had eight with minimal effort on my part).
Here we set the clock forward one week ago. It’s now been 48 hours since I was last able to log into my game. I was hoping the lockout would not extend beyond act 1, but at this point that’s just wishful thinking on my part.

In the UK we set the clock back, when does the USA set the clocks back also when does the USA find out who they new president are, I know it in November
Clocks go back this Sunday (so November 6th). And the election is the first tuesday after the first monday in November. So in this case, for 2016, it’s November 8th.
