Our games have turned dark, the water is mucky and the trees have changed colors….it must be Halloween in Springfield!
The Halloween Event Act 3 arrived this morning and with it arrived, not only various monsters invading our pocket-sized Springfields, but a whole new questline to work our way through!
As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 3 runs until November 15th, and you’ll need Wiggum free to get things started with an 8hr task.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the third Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what you need to do get rid of those Monsters and help Lisa get into a good school (you know if she ever ages beyond 8)….

I have yet to get a 4 fighter monster, my hubby has gotten at least one a day since Act 3 started. He is already over 5,000 megaphones ahead of me because of this. It’s making me upset now, if they are not gonna give me a 4 fighter then why even show it…….Most of the ones I get are only 2 fighter, with a 3 thrown in a couple times.. Very frustrating to say the least, but oh well, if my husband didn’t play, I probably wouldn’t know. Seems he gets more of the rat/dog things too……😕
An outfit for homer or Lisa would’ve been nice, mainly for Lisa since she didn’t get a free costume last year like Bart and Homer did, and it could’ve been for finishing the questline. Kind of like Evil Homer we got at the end of the sci-fi event questline end.
I have completed up to Lost in La Monstra part 15 but 16 hasn’t started. Does anyone know a way to trigger it? Do I need Quimby unlocked?
I just found my first monster thatrequires four characters to fight it.
it says that the bonus is only 150 megaphones. That’s the same as the two character monster. What gives?
It says that as that’s the payout for the minimum number of (monster-fighting) characters needed to fight the monster (1).
It freaked me out the first time, too.
But once you assign all four (monster-fighting) characters to fight the monster, it *should* show the larger payout.
If it doesn’t, you should probably contact EA.

I give up, I can’t figure out who to send on what task to light up the Bad Dream House. I’ve searched all over the blog & can’t find anything. Wise Guy has been there on both his 12 hr & 8 hr. tasks. I only bought it so I could have it lit. Kinda ehhh if it won’t light.

the wise guy only lits the house, when he’s close to the bad dreams house and then check the plumbing.

Place the Bad Dream House as far away from any other building as you can. Store the Googolplex, which will also store Wise Guy, then place it next to the Bad Dream House. Tap on Wise Guy and select his 12h Checking the Plumbing job. If he wanders off and goes to another house, try it again. He’ll go to the nearest house for the job.

Do you have the Babysitter Bandit? If so, she will go to Bad Dream House for her 24 hour task Rob A House. Just put whatever building she’s in next to BDH, away from other buildings, then when her task is done send her to rob a house. Bingo! You have 24 hr animated BDH. She’s been in my BDH nonstop since I got her. That frees up the Googoplex guy to do animations in other buildings instead. If you have Sequel Stop he animates it’s cool sign.

I went in a donut spending frenzy today and bought Booberella, the cobblestone roads and the flashback bundle. I see the monsters that allow one single fighter are gone, but there’s still a fourth slot in the monster battles – do the new monsters that allow 4 fighters start appearing after we finish the questline as well?
I think they’ll appear gradually. I remember at the start of act 2 I got only one three-slot monster in the first two days, and then they started to appear more often. Now I’m getting practically only those, haven’t seen a 2-slut one since 20 hours…

I went through a spending frenzy too! Purchased every pumpkin deal. I wanted them all but one, but you know how it is. Time to build up some donuts for Christmas now.

I believe she was re-released in August of 2015, which would have been after the superheroes event in March of 2015….

I love that there’s a bonus for finishing the actual quest; it’s a nice extra to boost you through the process of just earning prizes after the quest is over. Plus: faster bonuts!
unrealated, but for the past several days, I get logged out of my game and have to start the whole forever downloading process again and again. It’s frustrating and maddening. 🙁

Try fully uninstalling and reinstalling TSTO
Make sure you have at least 2 gigs of space free on your device.
Try clicking the help “?” in your game and changing your origin password. Then login to your game using the new password. This worked for me twice already. Good luck!
Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but…is anyone else having problems visiting neighbours in act 3? I’ve found that each time I try & move on to a new neighbour, the game crashes me out & I have to reload it. So far I’ve managed to successfully tap 6 neighbours in just under 30minutes!! Should I be reporting this to EA or is it a known bug in this act? Thanks

I just placed my Outdoor Table and it has started the “Leftovers” quest yet again.
I was seriously considering nuking my town but your post reminded me just how bad an idea that is. The Nativity thing did the same for me previously and I really don’t want to have to repeat a load of old quests again.

Definitely never nuke my town again! It was a pain to get everything out of inventory, & I could have used the section drag & drop (or whatever you call it), to move my favorite areas. I only have 1 task (so far), to do again. Oh well, live & learn right😊
