Hi Dante500, imho the mystery box is a good spend. I already had Witch Marge. If you can get her for 60 donuts great. It’s my favorite character for her. Watching her fly on her broom or stir the cauldron still makes me laugh. All of the items are at least reasonably good except for the HoverCopter which doesn’t pay anything out or add a bonus %.
I got got Acorn Kirk and Squirrel Luann. Watching Kirk be chased by squirrels or him chasing them to get his acorns back is hilarious, also Luann showing off her squirrel outfit.
I already had the Donut Torture Device. I don’t use it that much because Homer usually has so many event tasks. He doesn’t for this event so that reminds me I should take the opportunity to use it. Nightmare Pile and Sepulcher of Evil give in game % of 4 and 3% so you can’t go wrong there. So I dunno, if you don’t have the HoverCopter you could get that but otherwise a pretty good selection. To expand upon Alissa’s trademarked ultra-concise-comment-thread-commentary… 😉 since you’re just about to win the sixth prize, that puts you somewhere in the area of four days ahead of the calendar, as you noted. That means that after you get the seventh (and final) prize, you’ll be able to spend several days happily collecting bonuts.
But in comparison to other players? I’m sure you’re ahead of many people — particularly those who are at lower levels and/or don’t have any premium characters — and of course, you’re likely behind a few of the long-time and/or obsessive players. As an example: I’ve been playing since Fall 2014, (middle of the Clash of Clones event) so not the oldest of old-timers, but I’m a frequent tapper (but not obsessive, necessarily) and I’ve obtained several of the premium characters which contribute to this event. Thus, I would hazard a guess that I’m toward the upper/middle of the pack, in terms of my achievements during this event… and I’m only maybe half a day ahead of you. (I got prize six first thing this morning.)
So yeah… you’re good. 😀

Longtime tapper here, somewhere near the release of game. Have no worries on your track, you are good and safe. I tap 5 times a day. 4am, 8am, 12pm, 4pm and 8pm-ish. This fits in with what time I wake for work, planned bathroom break, lunch, as I leave work and right before I go to sleep. By my best guesstamates I should be picking up Frinkenstein tomorrow morning when I wake at the latest.
I would consider myself at the upper tier of prize gathering speed and of course the crazy scale.
