It’s Halloween in our pocket-size Springfields! Yes that magical time of the year when our towns turn dark, our water becomes mucky, there are monsters everywhere to battle and (as with all events) there are LOADS of items from Halloweens past to spend those sprinkles on!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

My Opinion On It Now: Another meh in my opinion. Over priced…save your donuts.

Donut Cost: 70 Donuts.
Earns: $260,26xp/10hrs
What Do It Do: Earns income and that’s about it.

My Opinion On It Now: Some of you have been waiting for this one. I own it, it works in my town with my design. But I do think it’s over priced for what it is. So unless you’ve been dying to get this one…pass.

I’ve been on the fence about the pet cemetery … still tempted because it will definitely fit with my other spooky stuff 😊 I’d like the disco zombie, but I agree, way too expensive. I’ve also been offered the windmill for 30 sprinklies, .75% bonus. Contemplating buying.

I don’t bother with NPC’s as they always go into storage after an event – & I can always visit Brooders if I want to see them 😄.
Got the main cemetery but on the fence about the Pet Cemetery. Already spent an obscene amount of donuts this event (at least for me it was a lot!) and with Black Friday etc looming need to consider this carefully…

If you store your wrecked brown house right now it will vanish from your inventory. I have called EA about this and they are working on it. But i was just giving eveyone an fyi about this issue. EA said when i called noone had reported this issue.

Not sure they ever made it into a category; make sure you’re checking the main inventory.
I learned that lesson along time ago when it first came out.mybrown house didn’t disappear it turned into a regular brown hose. Maybe that’s what happened to yours.

12 donuts for a zombie is doable, but 35 is too pricey for my taste. Unless he does a Saturday Night Live Disco Dance.

Pass, pass, pass. This event has been a virtual non-spend for me, alright I’ll be interested to see the SIB on the new building that was offered this morning, when it comes out…
I’ve passed on everything except Crazy Cat/Iguana Lady. As I’ve mentioned before I’ve wanted Crazy Cat Lady for a long time and this offer was too good to pass on. A house, a premium character and a skin for a really low prize. I don’t mind that I didn’t get the swamp.
I got the Crazy Iguana skin, Gravedigger Billy, Swamp Monster and the Zombie Sandwich, so this has been a big-spending event for me. (Usually a cheapo, but Halloweenis my fave.) I am really loving this one! Monster battles, flying monsters to splat, trick or treating for all the kids–it’s a blast!
Even if the items in this event haven’t mostly been my cup of tea personally, it makes me happy to see how happy it’s made folks like you! 🙂

Yeah, I saved my donuts this time around and skipped the Crazy Cat Lady and everything else. But I did pay for two mystery boxes and got Squirrel Luann, which I can’t use, and Sepulcher of Evil, which admittedly was pretty cool.
If I got that first, or any other prize instead of Squirrel Luann (even the Hover Copter), it would’ve been an absolute bargain. To be fair though, 20 donuts is still less than half of the sepulcher’s original cost, it gives a hefty 4% bonus, and it looks great when animated.
I realize I don’t really buy premium characters. Most of my premium characters were free and later upgraded, or I got them from the mystery box. The few ones I actually bought were the Vegas wives, P. Rex, Frink, Ladybot, Barney and Rockstar Maggie.
Thought I was having a flashback, the title didn’t get updated.
