A new episode of the Simpsons will air on Sunday night…and to go along with it EA released a fun little episode tie-in to get us excited. So bust open that donut box because there’s a new limited-time premium item in the store waiting for you!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Havana Private Home to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Cuban inspired residence to your Springfield…
Building/Decoration: Havana Private Home
Donut Price: 60 Donuts
Earns: $300, 30xp/12hrs
Size: 5×12
Conform-O-Meter: Indolence +20
Leaves stores November 15th
Pros:
-Cool, unique looking building. Will go nicely in Springfield Heights
-Comes with a Permanent 12hr task for Bumblebee Man and Cletus (Have a Siesta)
-Comes with a short (1 part) questline for Bumblebee Man (Possibly Cletus as well…I can’t check because I already have Bumblebee Man in both premium games)
Cons:
-It’s a little on the larger side, so if you’re limited on space it may not fit
-Cletus’ task there does not pay at a premium rate.
Final Thought:
Premium
This is one of those toss up items. Personally, I think you should save your donuts. BUT it does look nice, and I can see an argument for premium players to pick this one up. (design reasons)
Freemium
Pass. At the end of the day it’s just a building with a 12hr task for 1 (maybe 2) characters. Save your donuts for better combos/characters in the future. (Christmas is coming…)
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you I’ll likely be passing on this one. Just doesn’t excite me as a premium item…. Of course whatever you decide just remember this is limited time and will be leaving our games very soon (November 15th). So if you’re thinking about grabbing it, do it very soon before it’s gone for good!

Why do people change it?
Still considering it, but I’m guessing I’ll end up passing. There better be some good deals for Black Friday….I feel like I’m putting all of my donuts in that one basket. (Actually, don’t tell EA this, but, if they don’t have one of those good sales on existing premium items soon, I might buy a few that I’ve been wanting at full price.)
I loved it immediately…reminds me of a lot of older homes in Florida.

Fan-South-Beach-tastic! I love what you did with the place! Totally makes me want my personal TSTO Simpsons to consider a second home in Florida, so I can come for a long visit. But as in real life; myself, I’m not buying.
Thanks for the Positive feedback…I grew up on the Florida intercoastal/ Indian River and the houses along it are a lot like this (albeit not as decked out)…makes me homesick.

Meant to say that when you get the building Cletus can do the 1 part quest line if you don’t have bubblebee man
Cletus has a 12 hour Siesta task now in his task list if you get the Havana Private Home.
Okay… this may be a dumb reason to spend donuts — but quite frankly, you piqued my curiosity. (I think I still have nearly 400 after the fact, so it’s not like this was all that painful.) I *don’t* yet have Bumblebee Man; while he’s one of the cheapest premium characters, he just hasn’t been on my priority list. So I bought the Havana Private Home, specifically to see what would happen with the questline, and… no questline. None at all. I assume that Cletus still has his task there, but he was busy fighting a monster at the time.
Perhaps EA just assumed there wouldn’t *be* anybody like me, who might spend donuts on a random building but *not* on a cheap premium character?… LOL. 😀

I had so much bonuts left over so I picked this up. Might regret it with Christmas round the corner but still got a stash of sprinkles for my FAVOURITE TIME OF THE YEAR! Really hope they do something special this year
I like it, but what I don’t like is that we hardly ever get anything that can be bought with ingame cash anymore. Either it’s free or it’s donuts. Not that donuts are that hard to come by these days but still, would have liked to buy a couple of em with just regular currency.
I know what you mean! I’ve got something around $800 million in in-game cash. Sure, I’m planning on some donut farming when the event is through – or more likely when my corn is ready to harvest. But still. They could give us more to buy with it…
