It’s Halloween in our pocket-size Springfields! Yes that magical time of the year when our towns turn dark, our water becomes mucky and there are monsters everywhere to battle. Just like October in every other suburban town in America, no?
The Halloween Event is in full swing on our devices and it’s full of creepy decorations, buildings and characters…all designed to get us into the Halloween spirit!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Megaphones (
) to unlock each prize!
The Seventh Act 3 Prize awarded at 73,150 is Frinkenstein because it’s about time we got to the final prize…
So let’s take a closer look at this seventh and final prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 73,150 you’ll automatically be awarded Frinkenstein and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place or store him in your inventory for later. Remember if you store him you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve later. And yes, Frinkenstein is a full character NOT a skin for Frink.
Once unlocked you’ll see his character unlock message appear..
And he’s part of the Treehouse of Horror XXVII Character Collection
Frinkenstein will come with his own questline, which will start up for you once you place him in Springfield. Here’s a look at the Turbo Tappin’ version of the questline….

No, you do not need to finish his questline to unlock that ability. And yes, you can wait to finish his questline until after the event is over.

This was GREAT Halloween event. Way better than last year. Great decos and prizes and awesome crafts. Very cool we got the kids trick or treating again!
I got him on Tuesday. He’s honestly not a bad character. Sadly he’s the only character released this event that’s not voiced. Also, off topic, will there be a post like there was with the sci fi event on the best things to spend left over crafting currency on before the event ends? I’m thinking spooky houses, but I’m waiting for your imput on the matter.
I just got him last night and will be trying for at least 3 rounds of donuts until Tuesday and spend the remaining obols on walls, lights, trees, coffins, bats and maybe some on returning items.
I don’t understand how I finished so early on Act II and Act III but failed to complete Act I?
Oh well, at least I got lots of donuts from the last two act. I liked the prizes, though I appear to be in the minority on that.
Any suggestions for what to craft. I have all the craftables and a ton of left over crafting currency. I was thinking houses since they’ll earn me money or tree-hugging boosters.

I have to thank this site for the KMart bonuts idea and the hidden XP on the buildings. My main game had over $100M in cash. I now buy the Multiplier (10 days for 25 donuts).for all my games (3). In the other two I buy 24 KMs about every 4 hours.That way they are all less than the $14400, I figure if I really need donuts I can always buy the others at $14000. Anyway that gets me about 2-3 donuts every 4 hours plus allow my cash to grow. Even at 2 donuts twice a day while leveling up, (and 6 donuts after getting to the top level), that would net me 15 donuts in ten days. On my main game I am burning through the cash at about a million every 3 days. But I have been able to buy all of the premium items I want. At currently have a 700 donuts available for all my games for hopefully the black Friday deals. Thanks again. Charles.
I give this event a “D.” The story line was weak and the prizes were meh.
His tasks at the premium building (Frink lab) should pay at premium rate. But not. 😔
Same thing happens with Ray Peterson 1hr task at pet shop…..

I unlocked Frinkenstein the other day and he’s hilarious. 😀 This is slightly off topic but after everything is unlocked and crafted, what’s the best thing to craft with extra obels?

Bonuts have been rolling in for a couple of says now! I’ve unlocked everything else (mag prize & shipwreck) so I’m just cruising along until the finish. Spring has sprung, so I’m looking forward to the hotter weather… 28 C on Sun, 33 C on Mon woohoo!
