It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

All new episode of The Simpsons airs tonight…what do you think will happen in the new episode? How do you think the episode will tie-in with the items we got in our games earlier this week?
The Halloween Event is coming to an end this week. Only two more days of tapping to get all of the prizes. How are you doing?
How was your weekend? Do anything fun and exciting? We celebrated the Tiny Addict’s (Riley) First Birthday yesterday! The little girl is officially one. She now talks up a storm, walks (well 10 or so steps at a time) & climbs up the stairs like a champ! Can’t believe she’s already 1! She had a great first birthday, although she wasn’t quite sure what to make of her cake..
So chat about the Simpsons, TSTO, Update fun, or anything else you can think of! Can’t wait to chat with you all, you know we love hearing from you!

So ummm is there a hidden group of quests for donuts this Thanksgiving? I just happened to notice a couple in my town have a quest to “baste a turkey” or something like that for four hours. Might be just a residual quest from something previously, but thought it may be something hidden as well.
I don’t know about “baste a turkey,” but Mindy had a permanent 4-hour task to “bake a turkey”…
Knew it was something like that, thought I saw it on a couple characters though
Hello, I’m Cube.
I try and design a Springtania worth visiting, an’ I kinda try and incorporate or develop an ongoing narrative with everything I place.
How do you place stuff, by association, colour, building architectural design, greenery, pavement, etc.
I put most of my TSTO energy (apologies neighbourinos, but I hope I’ve created some stuff you may enjoy) into incorporating event content all over my Springtania.
As one of my “narratives” I reckon Ziff and Burns conglomerated together and built New Super Zenith Springfield 🙂 The Monorail / Spooky Wall / Castle Wall / Holographic Hedge / Biohazard Tower divide combination keeps the rest of Springfield out, and they have control over the Space Program and Movie Industry, as well as advancing New Energy Generation.
Ok.

A bit late to the game but Happy Belated Birthday Riley!
On TSTO related note, for those that have attained the Wildlife Sanctuary, and own the Springfield Falls, they look GREAT together, especially if you put the Sanctuary just a few blocks behind the Springfield Falls, you can hide the sign, and make it look like one big waterfall area.
Really did like the event, great prizes. Hated the way it made my phone crash.
Someone told me about an app “We ❤️ It” (We Heart it) and I’m sill tying to figure it out but you can search for all sorts of images and there are cateogies of Simpsons and Simpsons Gifs and anything else you might be looking for.
As anyone noticed we never seem to have buildings or things to buy with game money anymore except land,why is this ? Does anyone know?
Because they eliminated level updates in favor of mini events and big events. You used to only spend money on buildings for level updates…

Alissa I was just saying yesterday to chewfred that Riley’s bday should be around now, this being first I’ve been in open thread for a bit. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS RILEY🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈 wow that year went so fast. The picture is awesome what a beautiful lil girl and having straight hair myself, love those curls.
I’m so happy Halloween is over, was much better event then last year and I got some cool things so was happy with that. I also loved they kept our neighbors names when visiting even though a bit of time consuming taping those cameras.
Thanks to all my neighbors for helping me reach the end of event. I love what most of my neighbors have done with new content, some of your towns blow my mind with the time you’ve put into your designs.
As a unrelated side note, we have 4 puppies 3 girls one boy. They are 2 weeks old and I might be biased but they are so cute. Just starting to walk and all beautiful eyes open now! At this time we now have 8 babies (doggies shhhhh). All are spoken for 😢 will be sad to see them go. Although let’s see if I feel that way when they can walk far enough to get out of playpen.

For those of you who sometimes worry about the potential backlash from EA, whenever a “loophole” is found in game which can be exploited to rake in the donuts… I get the impression that there’s really nothing to worry about, for us. It seems these kinds of “hacks” are peanuts, compared to the people that EA actually tells their lawyers to pursue:

These guys supposedly raked in around $15 million US — *real* currency! — by selling in-game coins on the black market.

Love the new Thanksgiving banner. I love to decorate for Thanksgiving but since the store go from Halloween straight to Christmas , you cant find much Thanksgiving décor, and it makes me sad this holiday is so much ignored by stores, I have been searching a long time for a good Turkey knickknack centerpiece and lucked up and found a good one at a yard sale this summer. Wow this got so much off topic.
