Where Did THAT Come From- Frinkenstein

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?

In this post I will be going over the Origin of FrinkensteinWhy is he in our games? What does he have to do with Halloween? Let’s dive into the Simpsons TV Series to find out more.

Frinkenstein was dropped into our games during Act 3 of Halloween 2016 as the 7th and Final Personal Prize you could earn.

Season 7, Episode 6: Treehouse of Horror XIV (Frinkenstein)

Homer receives a call from a distinguished gentleman that he won the Nobel Prize. Lisa knows there is no way this is accurate and takes the phone from Homer. Lisa tells the man that she will let Frink know it is he who actually won.

At Frink’s he doesn’t seem too terribly excited to have won. It was a slow year so he believes his hammer screwdriver is what got him the Prize. Frink just wishes his Dad was there to see him get it. It seems Frink feels he was always a disappointment to his Father. His Dad was one of those He-Man type scientists. Working on the Atom Bomb by day and sleeping with Marilyn Monroe at night. The last time he saw him he was going on an Oceanic Expedition. Frink gets sea sick just taking a shower. His Father tells him how much of a disappointment he is to him. a disgrace to the name, and turns his back on him as he sails away. Leaving younger Frink in tears.

Lisa asks where he Dad is now, maybe she can help patch up their differences if they can find him. Frink explains there is quite a bit of patching up that would need to be done as he takes Lisa to a freezer where his dead Father’s body hangs, a big ol chunk taken out of his side. Apparently he was testing out a new blood based sun tan lotion… while near shark infested waters. (Side Note: EWWWWW who keeps their dead Dad hung in a Freezer in their house??!)

Frink decides that now with his new invention, the Hammer Screwdriver, reanimating his Dead ol Daddy will be a cinch. Enter the Lightning, electrical shock, Crazy Doctor, tinkering with death time. Frink’s Dad jumps off the table and exclaims, “I AM ALIVE…” along with the usual Frinktastic ramblings, “with the breathing and the tingling and the what’s this radiator where my pupik should be?”

frinkinstein-4

Frink is just glad to have his Daddy back. He explains to his Dad that they had to replace several organs all around his body with machinery, but no worries it will not make him less of a Man. EXCEPT he no longer has a … OH NO!! Frink’s Dad does not seem to happy about the situation. His Dad is determined to make this right. He smashes through the wall to go find himself some new body parts, like a spleen.

Frink’s Dad happens upon Ned Jogging around in the Park late at night. What is with Ned and the Late Night, spooky time, but I am gonna go exercise anyway thing??!! Frink’s Dad tells Ned to say “AAAAHHHH!!” while he shoves his arm down his throat to snag some organs.

Seymore is next on the list. Frink’s Dad follows him out of the School and compliments him on his nice posture. He reaches into Skinner’s back and helps himself to a nice new spine. We always knew Skinner was a spineless wimp. 😉

frinkinstein-6

Frink’s Dad is now strolling through town with SEVERAL new body parts. Many that are very very familiar. Sideshow Mel’s Head, Snakes Arm, Comic Book Guy’s Behing, Disco Stu’s Foot… and so on. Can you see others?

frinkinstein-7

Lisa interrupts him checking out his reflection and admiring it. She tells him he should think about what he is doing and who it is hurting. Like the people he killed? Well, nope… not them. Well kind of them… but not really. The important person here is his son, right? He still has time to make it to Stockholm to see his son accept his Nobel Prize.

Meanwhile in Stockholm, Sweden… WHAT THE NAKED???!! Anywho… in Stockholm, at the Swedish Auditorium, Frink is about to accept his Nobel Prize. He is disheartened though that his Father has become a marauding ghoul… or maybe not. His Dad seems to look… well… normal again.

frinkinstein-8

Well that only lasted a few seconds, his Dad’s lust for body parts couldn’t stop him from turning all those brilliant minds and bodies into a smorgasbord of spare parts. Marge pleads with Frink to stop his Dad. Frink uses some scientific calculations to determine just how to stop his Dad. Well, by kicking him in the crotch of course!

  1. “Season 7, Episode 6: Treehouse of Horror XIV (Frinkenstein)”

Hate to be pedantic, but THOH XIV would have been during season 15.

  2. This isn’t on THIS topic but… there is a box in my task list. When I click on it, the lid comes off (and then goes back on when I click it again). Box looks like it has a donut, and Oscar, and something else in it. Anyone know what the box in the task list is for? Is it a bug or is there a purpose?

  3. How many different parts of Frinkstein can you identify? Leave your answers here

  4. Wow, that’s pretty disgusting.

  5. Love love love having Frinkenstein in my town! Funny visual tasks and a much requested item so thank you EA 😘
I am looking forward to the takedown. They often bring new changes and a teaser for what is coming – maybe a teaser for Christmas 🎅
