Should I Spend Donuts On Improvised Snare?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s Turkey Hunting season in Springfield!  Gather the masses to track down the elusive Bigclaw!  And of course it wouldn’t be an event (big or small) in Springfield with out new premium items in our stores, just tempting us to spend sprinkles on them!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Improvised Snare to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this bunny flinger to your Springfield…

Final Thought
Premium
I like it, only because I think it’s hilarious.  It reminds me of the catapult…only this flings bunnies.  It is a little pricey, but honestly the enjoyment I get out of it is worth it to me.  It’s not an awful premium buy.

Freemium
This would be one of those freemium splurge items.  If you think it’s funny and you like the animation on it, grab it.  It’s one of those items you’ll get because you like…not because it’s practical.
However, it is over priced for what it is/does….so if you’re on the fence, I’d lean towards no and play with it when visiting neighbors.

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do.  And I can tell you as a premium player, I already picked this combo up.  Mine as well get my donuts worth with the event help.   But whatever you decide just remember this will be leaving our games soon, so make your final decision before it leaves our games on November 30th..and of course since it helps with the event the sooner you get it the better…

And here’s a look at the animation of the snare…

  1. Had! To! Buy!

  2. This is from a very early episode, I remember laughing my ass off as a kid when I first saw it. It’s nice that they still put such old things into the game.

  3. How have you still got leaves blowing round your town? Is that normal because in my town it is completely clear

  4. Maybe the best episode ever–packed with jokes and Ernest Borgnine. Can’t get any better! There’s a NEW Mexico!!! Trying to snare the rabbit and launching it and being lost at sea only to find a krusty burger off shore oil rig. LOL.

  5. Oh man, I’m restocking donuts for Black Friday and then this comes along. It’s one of my absolute favorite sight gags from the show. But 60 precious donuts?

  6. As soon as I remembered “This is a trap, it will catch us our dinner” it was a must have.

  7. The funniest part of the snare is the fact that Homer made it.

  8. This might be my favorite item ever (except for the whale, I genuinely love my whale, I bought my first donuts specifically to buy it and get a little irrationally hurt every time I see people snarking on users who have a whale lol).

I’m an animal lover and have terrible stuff like the “horse parts” barrel hidden, but this is adorable and keeps making me smile. I like to pretend the bunny is enjoying it as much as I am since he keeps coming back for more 😉

I did have it aimed at the wolf on the rock from Halloween but decided that was mean. Now it’s in front of the Lisa/Flanders feast table, escaping being part of the meal.

  9. i bought it and my nephew (27 yrs) and and i laughed and laughed and laughed.

  10. I wish it would just randomly fling bunnies – like about every 4th time the bunny pokes its head out. Tapping on the box kind of hides the ability to watch the animation. I did buy it though, because it’s adorable and I thought it was a pretty good bonus.

  11. The animation, totally worth it. Just wish I could line it up with my catapult so I could have throwing contests.

  12. Easiest no brained ever!
