It’s Turkey Hunting season in Springfield! Gather the masses to track down the elusive Bigclaw!
This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of The Most Dangerous Game you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.
Let’s take a look at the details of these first two prizes. What they do and how you unlock them..
The first prize you’ll unlock is the Camping Tent..

How You Unlock It: The Most Dangerous Game Pt. 1…Prepare for the Hunt- Collect 60 Task length: 3hrs each

What Does It Do?: Just a decoration. Tasks there for the event, but otherwise a fun decoration to inspire a campground area in Springfield! And it has some animation when tapped.

Flush Out Big Claw- Collect 90 
Task length: 3hrs each

I have both animations and have tapped on Big Claw three times today but no sign of the pet mutant plants yet. What else do I need to do?
Pet mutan plant was a price in one past event (Sideshow Bob and genetic stuff). Maybe you have it already?

Got the final prize earlier today and I am now in the middle of the final quest. The turkey icon has disappeared and I can’t hunt for bunnies, snakes or turkeys anymore. I was hoping that I could keep doing it for cash and xp…
Does anyone know yet what the new robot is about? It’s been added to the Robot Character Collection. I expected it to be part of the prize track but so far nothing…

On the Tapped Out FB page a lot people are saying there is a pet mutant plant in the store for 45 donuts with a 45 donut rebate, so basically free. A lot of people, like me, are saying they don’t have it in their store. Is it some sort of glitch? Is it something EA is working on?
Was a price in the terwilliger event (with the genetic stuff an the four red research biildings), i think. Maybe you have it already?

My biggest complain about this event is that you can only get 1 RV and Tent. I would love to be able to get a few of each to make a camping area. As it is I have the Tent over by one of the lakes I keep out and the RV is sitting in one of my parking lots.
Maybe if we show interest, they’ll offer multiples for purchase post-event? Fingers crossed!
Then again, we weren’t offered those winged-were-wolf-rat thingies as a NPC after Halloween, like many had hoped for. *sniffle*
Hopefully they will bring RVs and/or tents to the game in the near future, though! 😀
Did anybody else create a wood area for this event? I already had one but I started another, my treehugging rating must be at like 200%… 😛
I have a sprawling wooded area taking up easily 15% of my entire Springfield with a summer camp, nature items,and all of my Halloween stuff. Probably my favorite part of my whole town.
The stone cutters table makes a great outside Thanksgiving table.
Tent went by a campfire where Chalmers is surviving off the land. I used to have one of the medieval tents behind him, but an actual camping tent is better. (Or maybe worse, I dunno, guess he’s roughing it a little less now.)
The RV went directly into my tiny desert area.

Cute little event, but am I the only one who plans on not working once you unlock the pig? I can live without more animations. And really what could top a ghost Heimlich? Hahahahaha

They’re animated tasks for Homer. So it depends on how much you like to vary Homer’s outdoor tasks during the rare periods when he’s not busy with an event. But if you want to see BigClaw in action, that’s how…
By the way, that pig is valuable! Brings a $/XP bonus. Can’t remember how much but decent. I can’t remember if they told us that, but maybe not since I was surprised when I checked it by storing it briefly and looking at the conformometer.
I also just recently realized that both the chili tortoise tapping game and the robot black hole game give hundreds of XP even if you aren’t eligible for the material prizes. I was playing the robot game only when I was recycling to get the trash boost, but now I play it every time it’s available.
Love the first season camping episode so the RV is sweet.
