As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. (That and Bunny loves to see other designs and get inspiration from it.) Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
With Halloween over, and Thanksgiving nearly over, I thought now would be a good time to take a look at what everyone did with all that stuff! Since it can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put all this stuff…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always you guys came through big time! You guys have some great designs and ideas for all this super inspired stuff…so let’s take a look:
First, a note. If you don’t see your image it’s because either I didn’t get it or your donut count was viable in the image you sent and I flagged you as someone using a hacked or modded game.
Also, remember we only accept 1-2 images per person per showoff. So if you submitted more than 2 images I picked the two I thought where best and posted those.
This week’s response was so overwhelming (over 50 images), I opted to do a Gallery for the images (as we’ve done from time to time when we had a huge Showoff response). This allows us to get all of your images displayed, and showoff your hard work! Simply tap the images below to be taken to the slideshow. The name of the creator will be listed at bottom of each pic. (and as always they’re in alphabetical order)
Whew! You guys really liked showing off your towns! And we loved checking them out! You all did such a great job…you gave us some great ideas! What did you all think of your fellow Addict’s designs? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

Have to say really enjoyed seeing everyone’s town’s and what you have done. melicious001well impressed even though a little biased as i do have he/she as a nieghboureeno there was another favourite but couldn’t get their name as everytime i tried to click on there’s to find out who done it, it just took me right to the slideshow sorry! Nice work everyone…too many good designs to name them all but i really like Nelson’s cemetery area and drtrowel’s 3D wailing wall design….Nicely done. oh, and magnus’s drive in is amazing too 🙂

Lately, I am never quite satisfied with what I come up with, and I can’t seem to find the time to tinker with it until it is just right. Plus, I never have room enough to add to last year’s Halloween area without a major redesign, so I start fresh in another corner each year. Strangely enough, that never is a problem with my Christmas area, somehow EA always adds land at the right time in the right corner so I can expand it each year, with minimal changes.
I think everyone’s Halloween areas are just wonderful but I must be a little biased and say my favorite is my neighbors ___melicious001 in how she beautifully transitioned her Halloween section into her farm section and how it seamlessly joins into the rest of her town. Masterful planning 👏🏼
Overall though everyone brought their own something special to the holiday after looking at each town……of course too many screenshots to speficify each person but bravo to all 👻 Honestly I never have land planned in time, so after an event I have to move my town around for weeks after… so kudos to y’all for being so organized and fast 😉

Her entry is the first photo and I believe she commented on this thread a few comments down correcting her name. Originally I found her through an add me page on this blog or she found me, I can’t remember 🙂 I just enjoy having her as a neighbor because her towns clean and organized, it never shuts off my app when I visit her so when I saw she entered her design on here I had to root for my neighboreeno! 👍🏼 I’m sure she’d appreciate you adding her though!
I have moved all my Halloween to Springfield Heights. It’s by far my largest holiday-town. Poor easter town is sparse, valentine’s holds its own, and Christmas is got a lot of open land in anticipation of next month.
I enjoy seeing other people’s Springfields, but I designed my own based on personal preferences. How can I save it, so that if they spend the game, I could revisit it? Thanks for your help!
