Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The snow is falling in Springfield, which can only mean Winter has arrived in our pocket-sized towns! And is in full swing on our devices.
In a change of pace, this Event is broken up into just 2 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the First Act you’re tasked with collecting Antlers (
) to unlock each prize!
The third Act 1 Prize awarded at 22,750 is the $5 Antler Rental, because all those Antlers we’re collecting have to serve some purpose…
So let’s take a closer look at this third prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 22,750 you’ll automatically be awarded the Antler Rental stand and you’ll see this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place it in your Springfield immediately or store it in your inventory for later. Remember if you store it you’ll have to go back into your inventory to retrieve it.
The stand does come with a short questline, including tasks for Bart and Milhouse. And no, you’re not missing anything if you hold off on completing this task. Continue to send Bart and Milhouse to earn Figurines. Here’s a look at the questline…

Milhouse: Sorry, Bart. Can’t come to the Pagan festival today. I’ve got zilch to wear!
Bart: What about your sheepskin vest? Or that Viking helmet?
Milhouse: I wore those yesterday. I need to vary my wardrobe, but I just don’t have the pieces!
Bart: Dressing like a savage sure is expensive. There’s got to be a better way!

New God Mr Burns and Statue- Awarded at 35,800. This will be the next prize we breakdown in the prize guide post. (Note: a couple of you are commenting you can’t find the statue, or the skin. You’ve got to work through the questline a bit…statue will be awarded during the questline, and Mr. Burns will become New God at part 3 of his questline)

I’m lol’ing at my Antler Rental Hut (needs permanent Nerd Character vending Antlers) and it’s the perfect size (not too large, not too small) …..

Do we know if we will need catnip and idols in act 2? I have completed the prize track and wondering if I should use them to get more antlers for bonuts or stockpile for act 2?
I would go for Bonuts. The fact is, as you have just experienced, it really isn’t that hard to “get it all” these days, even if you take a day or two off. So, no need to “jump start,” when you can get Bonuts.

Should you buy the treatment that gives antlers .
I’m thinking about putting all my kiosks into one area. In NYC they have Christmas kiosks in Union Square and Bryant Park. I used to do all my Christmas shopping there. Lots of hand made stuff, local business, and lots of tasty treats. .
Just visited it today 😊 I’m from 🇬🇧 and holidaying in NYC 😊 Plan to go ice skating there tomorrow 😊

Off topic, I know, has anyone else noticed that the Phone Henge Kiosk is not giving up the 600 Antlers it was meant to? I found both my games missed out.

I thought the little 5$ Antler Rental quest was a bit funny! Can’t wait to unlock New God Burns! He looks ridiculous!
I laughed so hard when I saw the antler stand animated! I wish I didn’t have to use Bart or Milhouse because I would love to keep that thing animated without sacrificing event currency.
You could try and send the Wise Guy on his 10 hour task near here which would keep you from taking Milhouse and Bart away from earning carvings and see it animated for an extra 6 hours. 😀
