Should I Spend Donuts On the Santa’s Workshop Bundle?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s snowing in our pocket-size Springfields!  Yes that magical time of the year when our towns are blanketed with snow and there are LOADS of items from Winters past to spend those sprinkles on!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Santa’s Workshop Bundle to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your Springfield…

Leaves Stores December 21st…

Bundle/Items: Clausco, Santa’s Workshop, Toy Workshop and Little Helper Ralph
Cost: 115 donuts
Previous Post: Clausco, Santa’s WorkshopHelper Ralph
My Opinion On It Now: So before I get into anything, I want to note that it looks like the North Pole Sign is missing from this Bundle.  The North Pole sign is needed for Ralph’s 1hr task.  So that’s super annoying because it’s a hilarious task and without the sign I don’t quite know what’s going on with it..if he’ll do the task elsewhere. So I’m going to call on EA to release the North Pole with this bundle as well.  It’s only fair… So i’ve been informed in the comments that you’ll get the sign during Ralph’s questline (unfortunately, I can’t verify this because I have all of the items in this bundle…but hopefully that’s the case)

So now…beyond that, I do think this is a great deal if you’re missing these items from your Springfield.  While these were all originally free items, 2014/2013, each time they’ve come back to town they were way over priced.  So 115 for all of the items seems like a fair price to me. So if you’re looking for Christmas decor go with this one…and stay away from Yellow Snow!

And there you have it my friends, the breakdown on the returning premium items to hit our stores. What are your thoughts on Santa’s Workshop Bundle?  Do you own any of them already?  Will you be purchasing them this year?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Little Helper Ralphie and North Pole Sign are a lol worthy combination year round (I notice Elves Cave is missing from this bundle) 😉

  2. I purchased this bundle and Ralph finished the first task but now has no more tasks and I can’t find the north pole sign…..

  3. I already had the Toy Shop but I did buy the ClausCo building for 90 donuts with a 45 donut rebate. However, the skin for Ralph isn’t showing up in my store. Does it by chance come with Santas Workshop? Because that is also available in my store for 70 donuts with a 35 donut rebate. I don’t really need or necessarily want the Santas Workshop but I would buy it to get the Ralph skin. Can anyone weigh in on this?? Thanks!!!!

  4. Is anyone else’s game NOT notifying them of items being added to the store?

A while ago, I think shortly after the event started, I got some weird notification saying I had, like, 27 new items in the store, but it wasn’t true. I don’t think I’ve been notified since? Or once shortly after, and not since. I wasn’t told this was added to the store, nor when the skiing stuff was added – I just happened upon it, as I did the Singing Stones (still on the fence about them, since I only have 125 donuts & no idea if I’ll be able to squeak out some $$ to purchase some. *sniffle*).

    Anyway. Anyone else?

    • Same here, last time I was notified was about Gil’s deal, I’m just checking regularly in order not to miss anything.

  5. There have been some pretty good deals lately, this one included. Three buildings, one skin, I think 115 donuts is a great deal. Funny quest line for Ralph and Clausco is probably one of the best buildings in the game.

  6. No need to think abou this one. Instant buy!

  7. I’m considering getting Clausco, but I’m trying to think of where I’d put it. Does anyone know what its dimensions are?

  8. How do you trigger Part 2 of Ralph’s quest to get the North Pole sign? I finished the first part eating the yellow snow and nothing happened after that…I just have all of his tasks available except licking the sign is grayed out.

    • Never mind. You just have to make sure Wiggum is free. I hate how sometimes characters need to be freed up to say a line of dialogue and other times they don’t.

  9. Pretty funny quests for Ralph got him free before with all the other stuff. The Ralph quests made up for all the non stop tapping and shooting elves from the cannon. If i didn’t get then it I’d buy it this time . I think its worth it also. It makes a nice Santa’s Village like the one in New Hampshire.

  10. I just got the North Pole sign came as I went through Ralph’s quest line. Enjoying the items.

  11. Clause co is 90 donuts with 45 donuts return…Santa workshop is 70 donuts with 35 return…I already own the Toy workshop and Santa Village. Which would I have to buy to get Ralph’s task, the workshop or Clause co?

  12. Does Helper Ralph come with the quest from when he was first introduced? The one with Santa? If so, the quest is the sweetest, most Christmassy quest and makes the purchase totally worth it. I was grinning from the Christmas spirit for a long time after finishing the quest.

  13. Bought the Claus Co tower. Now I hope they released Homer Kong tower.

  14. is claus co by its self worth it? i’m tempted but not sure.

  15. They also offered Claus Co as a standalone item. FINALLY after all these years of playing I have Claus Co! About time you re-released it, EA lol.

  16. I have the toy workshop and the north pole sign already as I started playing on Dec 27 the year of the elf Christmas event. Incredibly sad that little helper Ralph isn’t in my store.

    • Helper Ralph didn’t come as a bundle with the Toy Workshop? That’s how I got mine last year. He may already have the outfit in your town maybe…?

      • Sadly no. I didn’t buy the skin for Ralph last year because I didn’t have enough donuts. I’m mostly freemium for financial reasons, and I had gotten the toy workshop very early on when I first started playing the game after I got a tablet that Christmas. Fairly sure I only had 4 characters unlocked at that point.

  17. Very nice, but I’ll have to pass on it.

  18. I’m missing Ralph and Claus Co…only have Claus Co available.

  19. I have everything, except for ClausCo and for me that is 90 donuts (with 45 donut rebate)

  20. Been waiting for this bundle to drop. I started playing late in the event last Christmas and was always jealous of the prizes from years past. Good stuff.

  21. Do Ralph’s Elf tasks pay at the premium rate now?

  22. I was so glad they unbundled these, as I’ve been wanting Clausco forever. Instabuy today and only 45 donuts net was a great price.

  23. Whaaaaaaaat? No goats heads, sacrificing cauldrons or…pentagrams? I’m out 🙁

  24. Mine doesn’t show the bundle, only each item individually. The only reason I would have bought the bundle would have been for Ralph and he’s not in the store for me.

    • You sure you don’t already have him?

    • This will sound weird, but scroll all the way to the end of your inventory where the “npc”s and skins are…you may find him there, even if you didn’t know you had him. I found two character skins in my inventory that I don’t think I bought, but there they were. Possibly came with something and I never noticed…anyway, worth a look.

    • Maybe he’s just paired with the toy workshop when the bundle is broken down. I already have the toy workshop and the North Pole sign. I just missed out on getting Ralph’s costume because I fell behind on the prize track that year.

  25. I bought the bundle, and the North Pole Sign unlocks during Little Helper Ralph’s questline.
