In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?
In this post I will be going over the Origin of The Fir Is Murder Tree. Why is it in our games? What does it have to do with Christmas? Let’s dive into the Simpsons TV Series to find out more.
The Fir Is Murder Tree came into our games as a potential Crafting Prize in Level 9 of our 2016 Xmas Holiday Event.
Season 22, Episode 8: The Fight Before Christmas
**Here is another one of those items that was just a small lil blip in an episode that ends up becoming a New Item put into our games. **
The Holiday Episode launches into the Simpsons front room where Homer is on the couch, of course, while lil Lisa is wrapping up their Christmas Tree in Police Tape. Marge has just come in from an attempt to place Santa on top of the house… that failed miserabley and sees Lisa wrapping the tree.
Marge does not understand just why on earth Lisa is doing this. Lisa explains that the Christmas Tree is a “Crime Scene”. The poor lil innocent tree was cut down and tarted up like some floozy. Lisa just was not having it. Once she finishes wrapping the Police Tape around, she reaches behind the tree and pulls out a “FIR IS MURDER” sign and holds it up for Marge to see.
(There are soooooo many fun other items in this Episode that have entered our games now. Can you name them?)
There you have it, a few seconds on the screen and the Fir Is Murder Tree is now a part of our silly lil games.

what is day 13 of the daily challenges? I’m a day behind so I won’t make it before the end of act 1. after I get the parson, should I horde the catnip & statues for act 2
You don’t need to hoard so get those bonuts. The day 13 is just a placeholder for the next set of daily gifts that come with act 2. 🙂
Normally I feel ahead of the game, but after this post, I’m feeling a bit behind.
Don’t feel behind…it’s a craftable. You have the entire event to get it.
I’m ages from that, I’m struggling with crafting, nearly finished the act, but crafting is slower.

Just reached the craft a PAGAN HALL.
At 950 to complete this mini-quest and ~1200 for the Level, it’s gonna take at least a day or two.
But at least I’m back I’ve 300 sprinkles after my “confirm off” purchase of Ling – ouch, still hurting from that oops.
Ling has a great task,tho…flutenastics…fun to watch her cartwheel all over town with her flute.
