Popping in on this snowy NJ day to address a couple of concerns we’re seeing over and over and over and over again in the comments..
How Do I Unlock Day 13, If Act 1 Ends Tomorrow?!
You’ll unlock Day 13 tomorow, just like you’ll unlock Day 14 the next day and Day 15 the day after that. I know you only see 13 days visible at the moment, but there are over 20 days to these daily turn ins so relax. 🙂 Oh and day 13…there isn’t really a bonus prize there. That image is just a place holder. So tomorrow don’t freak out that you didn’t unlock anything special…just Runestones and Donuts. Those are the prizes…
Will Catnip and Figurines Carry Over?
As I said in a couple other posts and comments, I don’t know. I’m not 100% sure, and I won’t be until I’ve got in game confirmation. HOWEVER…based on some graphics and guide panel changes in the files it does appear that they will not. Panels like this…
But again..I’m not 100% sure. Personally, I’m playing as if they aren’t. Act 1 was super easy, I finished it on Tuesday, so I know no matter what Act 2 throws at us I should be ok. So I’m spending what i’ve got, except for Runestones (the purple ones for crafting), since Runsetones will carry over.

Can you tell me what the counter is that appears at the top of the screen when the elf is released and you have to try and catch it. For me it tends to stop at around 9 or 10 but has been as low as 5. Doesn’t seem to effect the reward you get either……
If the counter reaches zero, you loose and you don’t get the full amount of stuff.
It’s the amount of time you have left in which to catch the elf.

I was planning on saving everything to get a jump on Act 2, but after seeing this I traded in for 36 bonuts. That would have been kind of a bummer to lose.
I wish I had come here and checked what you’d said about catnip and figurines. I kept mine thinking they would’ve been useful, could’ve got another 3 bonuts 🙁

Thanks for this post I was holding on to my catnip and figurines till I read this post so they would have gone to waste and would have missed out on abot 20 bonuts.
Well, lesson learned…always listen to Alissa! (Hope Riley learns that lesson early, lol!) I was betting that catnip and figurines would carry over, a la the casino event, but I lost that bet. But, as I said in a previous comments, I won’t complain about all of the catnip and figurines that I had stored and could have traded in for antlers, since I knew I was taking a gamble not listening to Alissa! Fortunately, I played to the middle ground and did cash some in last night.
Unfortunately, this article came out too late for me to see it in time, but I’d rather that you have a happy and low-stress Christmas season, Alissa, than that you worry about getting an article out sooner. People need to remember that everything you do on this site is on a volunteer basis…you don’t owe us anything!!!
Now, when will the SIB on the Wiccans be out? 😉 😉
I’m really, really glad Act I *was* super-easy because we had to move in with my father-in-law on an emergency (and hopefully, temporary) basis and we were without internet for 3 weeks. I managed to get all of the prizes and one round of bonuts before Act I ended. 🙂

Well, it’s sort of challenging, but he’s doing much better with us there. So, that’s good. We hope it won’t be too much longer, but it’s hard to tell right now.

That ‘Day 13’ thing was misleading. From the image it looked like it was going to be a decoration trophy or prize for getting all the daily bonuses. Seems weird they had had a placeholder image for something they weren’t going to use at all, since the daily counter reset to 1 rather than going up to 20+. The pagan numbers seem rather low, btw, at only 15. Has that happened before? Usually there are around 40 event things to tap, right?
Looks like we don’t get that 13 item from the pagan temple.
Was anyone able to actually get it?
I don’t know how but I missed the 13th day prize. I never had the opportunity, it never “opened” for me to get it even though I saved catnip and stuff…. This update is kind of a stinker. Oh well, at least it’s free and gives me something to do. PS. Alissa, You and the hubby’s baby is super adorable!!!!! 🙂

My game never let me get the day 13 prize….. Very lame and highly disappointed….
Super not stoked about the late posting on the end of act one. Events are very rarely straightforward, and I had been watching the site the last few days to make sure I didn’t screw up the end of the event. But there were no posts as of yesterday early, so I now missed the parson and donuts. I would rather complain to EA about the misleading ‘next day’ prize, but we all know how much good that would do.
There was a post up at 6:30 am Eastern time in the US yesterday about Act 1 ending…not to mention a countdown clock in your game.

I noticed a Willie character in the Winter 2016 character menu. But I can’t find it in the donuts or the second Act. Anybody know where to get him?

I believe the description means that they will pay out at a 3x Premium rate for their tasks, which is quite awesome. There are 3 “Characters” in the one character, so I believe it is working like Patches and Poor Violet, as well as Sherri and Terri.
Why? There are three of them. Look at other multi-characters like Sherri and Terri, or Patches and Poor Violet.

My hard-earned donuts are ready to buy new donut-rebate deals at maybe midnight. Lol.
Based on what I’ve seen in past events, my guess is that instead of switching catnip and figurines for new craft currency, they will most likely add new currency along with the current ones. Just my thought after remembering wild west event. Either way, I’m looking forward to Act 2.
No they don’t. catnip and carving are out in Act 2.
I have 2500 of one of the types of token for making antlers, and just 8 of the other! No chance of finishing act 1.
Yeah, seems like it’s been wanting more catnip than carvings from me all event long, so I’ve got a bunch of carvings and no catnip and all my trade-ins want catnip.
Should have paid more attention to the dates and not started working on this week’s recycling bonuts until I finished the event.
From the Fact it shows Two Other buildings in the “Find Buildings” page of the main event tab, I believe that we might just have 4 different currency trade-in options next week. That sure sounds like a lot of fun… doesn’t it? Of course there is a possibility that the Catnip and Statues will be taken out in favor of… Fishsticks and Books?

I’m hoping for a late update hitting tomorrow morning, I’ve been stressing out so much about not finishing this level due to a new job I have and I can only play from 6pm to 6am when I’m home/sleeping every day – still 3K away from the parson, just praying (pardon the pun) I get him. 2 more 4hr chunks to go and I’m really sweating it now…don’t want to use sprinkles, but if it comes down to it, I might just use one batch. Don’t worry about getting ready for Christmas Alissa – we’re going away on Thursday and no packing or wrapped presents yet….oh well, bit by bit, and all in due time. Side note – to any Whovians out there – remember the 11th Doctor and his penchant for fish sticks and pudding? 🙂 shudder lol

Just hit Level 8. I’d rather tap Pagans AFTER Act 2 starts and generate Post Antlers.

I absolutely agree!! I spend hours and hours for a twenty minute meal and wouldn’t have it any other way….. maybe someone else make the oyster stew but only the stew eater likes the smell. LOL
As always your advice is great, I was on the same game plan, thanks for such a great and informative site, I check at least three times a day for new stuff. Keep up the awesome work here.
