My Opinion On It Now: Not a bad buy. Fun items (although the Snowmen melt when the snow melts). About average bonus % for 45 ish donuts. If you’ve been missing these guys, pick them up this time around. Final Thought: Pick Up if you like the items.

My Opinion On It Now: I love this item. The cost is high and the bonus % isn’t great, but I really love this one. I love that all of the Simpsons (except for Maggie, since she wasn’t around when it hit our games) have a task there. It just makes me smile. But that’s me. Some of you won’t like the item and I get that. But if you’ve been wanting this after seeing it in neighbor’s towns, now’s your chance to grab it. Final Thought: Toss Up.

I have the Nativity scene, but after the initial quest line, it no longer pops up character jobs. At this point, it’s just an empty decoration. As one post noted, the quest line does restart if it is stored and then again placed, but I was hoping it would work like the snow globe and pop up all character jobs when tapped. Anyone else having this issue? Am I missing something? Thanks.
Are you sure the nativity tasks aren’t in the individual characters’ task lists? I thought I remembered that you could do those tasks after completing the initial questline, so, if it’s not by tapping the decoration, maybe it’s in their tasks lists?
Thank you, thank you. I found it on Marge’s list, so I assume it’s on the others. It’s a 16hr task, so I guess I didn’t scroll down far enough on the character tasks. Whew. No longer disappointed that it was just another decoration. Thanks, again.
Passed on all of them. Cant do anything with this xmas stuff when the season is over.
Where is the Ice God located in Inventory? Took a while to get my family of snowmen & ice statues out but I’m missing that one..
Unless I’m mistaken the nativity scene is a double bargain if bought now, as it comes with a thousand of the Queen’s that you wouldn’t otherwise have had.
Either a whole new dip on the bronze tombola, or an upgrade of bronze to platinum – which is better than a kick in the spuds in anyone’s book, n’est-ce pas?

Bonus money for the mystery gifts. Most if not all Commonwealth countries have a picture of the Queen printed on their paper currency.
I got the Nativity scene FINALLY…since Winter 2014 I missed it by a few darn presents. Didn’t have nearly enough neighbor-eeno(s) (Haha) at the time. I thought about getting it last year, but meh I passed on it. Also picked up a reindeer to make my new Santa’s Village a little more festive. Might buy just a few more soon. 😁
I bought the first ever Christmas tree bc I find myself staring at it a lot in my neighbors town. I’ve been wanting it for a while. I had all of the other items so it was offered to me alone with a donut rebate. I paid 15 donuts and got 5 back. 10 donuts for something I’ve been wanting for us long felt like a heck of deal 🙂
I’m torn between Rubber Baby Buggie Bumper, the Singing Stones, and the Nativity Scene. At this point I’m using saved up doughnuts and I’m not willing to spend money to get all three. I should be able to get 2 out of the 3 items though. What would you folks recommend as my 2 to get? I appreciate your advice!

I’d say if you only want one then go for Nativity but that is my personal opinion because I love decorations where characters can go and make a scene (eg. Snow Globe).
Singing Stones is a must buy if you are into music or music theory or just want some rocks.
And THE RBBB is also a great buy.

If you like the babysitter bandit, I’d get that combo first. Personally, I find her creepy and don’t want her in my town, but I still think that’s probably the best choice. And I’d go with the singing stones for the second choice…fun! I think the nativity scene is a pain in the butt, because every time you pull it out of inventory and place it, it starts the questline over again. So, unless you’d want to keep that out year round, I’d skip that one.
Yeah, babysitter bandit is the clear winner for me too out of those three. Her Rob a House task that allows her to animate buildings that don’t usually get animated makes her one of the better characters to have IMO.

She’s a terribly drawn character as well. Why bring her back? She was in 1 episode in season 1. No one remembers here, and she lolks like her bones are deformed or something compared to the rest of the refined characters.
I remember her. She’s a character from a classic episode and is my clear number one choice. I have her and think she’s great!
Again, I’m not personally fond of her myself, but LOTS of people remember her and she’s been a very popular purchase (at least among folks here). Plus, she can be used to animate buildings that aren’t usually animated (like the Bad Dreams House), the same way that the Wise Guy can.
Do the Nativity tasks go all year…or event only? I couldnt find it in the 2014 info…thanx =)
You can put then out all year round if you want…but, the costumes are pretty itchy in the hot weather.
I have princess Martin from previous year, and a new questline just popped up (Make Ice Princess Martin show Lisa his palace). However, I do not have the palace … it is the first time that I see a questline concerning premium items if I do not own them … any way around this, other than buying the bundle (which seems silly as I already have the costume)? I’m stuck in the same boat…hoping that it disappears when the update ends. It sits on my task bar…mocking me.
Be aware that if you get the manger and store it in the off season, every time you take it out of storage and place it, it restarts the associated questline (a trait which I find annoying).
Heehee, I just finished the main questline and got a teaser for the Homer the Heretic event!
And I just earned enough for a Platinum Present, and I got Sophie: WOOHOO, exactly what I wanted!
Must be nice. I had five items at the platinum level and so far have earned enough vouchers for two picks. The thing I wanted most was Costington’s so of course I got two other things.

Hi! Could you please revisit the ice castle again? I’m thinking of buying it but want to hear your thoughts. In addition, the last TSTO about the ice castle after Christmas showed that ice princess Martin didn’t have his 4 or 24 hour tasks anymore. Do those tasks now stick permanently? Does ice princess Martin earn at a premium rate on this bundle?
I own it. I NEVER use it. I have it because I like the movie Frozen. But honestly, it sits in the back corner of my town. It’s an odd fit 11 months out of the year..it’s meh to me.

I really like this item – mostly for Martin’s task their for “making friends”. It cracks me up when I see it.
I send Martin on this 12 hr task quite often; it cracks me up too! And I believe that Martin earns a premium rate on this task also. RS 😎
