Well it’s finally here…Christmas Eve! And that means Santa’s coming…tonight! Woohoo!
I know many of you will be spending today with your families or doing last minute shopping…so I thought it’d be a perfect time for a Christmas Eve Open Thread!

Happy New Year everyone and there is 2 things about TSTO that I noticed over the last few days. First when I stored Martin’s Ice Palace and placed it, the questline tied with the palace retriggered even though I had completed the quest and got the palace since it was first released 2 years ago, this is similar to the Nativity Scene that has been mentioned a few times and at least its something for me to do until the next update. Secondly is there any idea if there will be any pagan npcs on offer because sometimes there is event npcs (such as the criminals from Superheroes 2015 and 2016) that others would want that don’t get released at the end of an event.
Forgive me if this is old news, but iTunes has the season 1 of The Simpsons for only $4.99 now. I don’t know if this is just a temporary sale or it is always that discounted price. I took advantage of it and am now reliving some of those old classic first season episodes. Well worth the $5 price. On a related note, iTunes also has the first season of Futurama for the same price.
I’d like some pagans to keep for my Springfield. I really miss them. Since I already own the NY BALL how about you gift me one for free EA. Thanks…..💜X
MYSTERY BOXES: Rather than gifting long term players zilch, why not perrsonalise it a bit or default to some items from the premium store? Eg. I do not own Shapes, She She, Plastic Surgery amongst others, so why not give me the chance to win those items? There are also heaps of decorations that I passed up, why not offer some of those too? Instead I am sitting on 9,000+ useless tickets to show for my loyalty & dedication to a game I have played (& paid for) since Day 1. Nice one EA😢……..💜X
Anyone else happy to see 2016 come to an end?
My heart breaks for Debbie Reynolds and her two remaining children. Loosing their sister then Mom same week such pain they must be in. As a fan I’m devastated, two incredible women leaving us in the same week.
May the force be with us all as we grieve then try to heal!
Any idea when the gnome in the home event ends?
When the update ends…on the 30th, is my best guess.
My event just updated. The gnome game is still available as of 2:07 central time. The rest of the event has been removed and grandpa is in a diaper celebrating the new year. Guess working nights this week at least gives me a small jump on the New Years portion of the event 😉
It does say when the gnome event ends at the bottom of your screen in the gnome home page & as Patric says finishes when Act 2 closes.
You can then only collect vouchers by purchasing items that have vouchers attached to them & not via the gnome.
Did anyone else notice the rabbi in the characters screen, I missed a few days so did I just miss him?

We saw the Star Wars Rogue One movie only yesterday. Such sad, sad news. Carrie Fisher was such a character. What a great sense of humour she had. I now need to read her autobiography and see Postcards. RIP Carrie Fisher

Hi everyone having a bit of a problem hoping you guys know of a fix so I don’t have to bother EA. I set santa homer on his 24 hr sleigh task on Christmas Eve morning. Now it’s finished but santa homer isn’t there so I can’t click on him to free him for a new task. When I click on his portrait the screen just flickers. Any help/advice welcome.
I apologize if this has already been addressed in another forum but I noticed the mystery box ends a few days after the winter event. Any thoughts on if the gnome will still he availabe to catch after the event or if it will strictly be just for purchases from the store.

Anyone else notice that the trade-in is asking for books more than the chicken? I have over 650 chicken tenders and can’t get enough books.
I started only clicking on the Small Offering. Now, I actually run out of chicken fingers sometimes.
