This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of the Homer the Heretic questline you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.

Make Homer Rest on Saturday- 4hrs, Earns 10, 35xp
Collect 260 Karma

What Is It?: It’s Sunday Morning Homer’s 4hr visual task (earns $175, 45xp). The task is now unlocked for you to complete. This isn’t anything tangible for your Springfield, it’s just unlocking a task in Sunday Morning Homer’s task list.

I have the same thing although now they have stored it in a box but it is still awfully annoying

I got a flying eagle with red, white and blue streams what’s that?

Alissa, did you ever notice that the flag is upside down when the eagle is in flight? Because of the angle they are using on the eagle it makes the flag’s stars be on the bottom right or left depending on the direction it is flying.
Never really noticed…interesting.
Just woke up to see 1million exp needed for a level up (donut bonus).
Clicked 32 Kwik-E-Marts and wondered why no level (sobbing)
Darn that sucks.
Did you just hit level 939? If so, the increase of XP need is offset by the fact that you’ll now get the bonut boxes, so you can get 3 donuts every million, instead of only 1 every half million.
Actually he/she is probably experiencing what I experiencing. Dont worry. It will reset back to normal. The blue cross next to xp bar will turn back to blue gift box icon..
So EA has canceled the 1 million xp donut scratch off ticket bonus?
Does anyone also experience this?

Pls disregard my comment above. As it turns out there was a blue cross replacing the gift box icon next to xp bar. Its back to normal now. First time evr happened. As a KEM farmer its kind of worrying. 🙂
I just KEM farmed hundreds of donuts. It takes 1 million of XP when at level 939. It rEAlly helps if you have a large bonus percentage (mine is 760%), a running XP Collider and at lEAst 20 million in game cash.
It’s a little crazy that EA has us work for great animations like this, and then they disincentivize us from using it by not making it earn pennies. The animation could at least have been used for a one-time event currency quest task (as well as for the permanent money task). C’mon, guys — if you want me to keep tapping, you gotta step it up on the visual gratification!

When I entered my Krustyland, it said that it stored some of my quests. Is this new, or did it just appear for me?
New to me… have you stored any of your characters?
This happened to me as well but I didn’t enter Krustyland. I have the Elsa/Frozen Princess costume for Ralphie (from a previous update) but not the castle that you could buy. I have an open task to send him and Lisa to the castle but obviously cannot complete it due to not buying the castle.

I think I remember a message like that the first time the game put one of my quests that I wasn’t working on into the little “parcel” icon. Are there quests you’ve had for awhile without working on them?
Have you ever had quests stored in the little box before? Maybe this is the first time you’ve ever left a task unfinished long enough for the game to store it in the storage box?
Hmmm….despite having all of the premium characters one can use in this questline, I’m not up to getting this prize yet. Guess I’m behind, but I’m not sure why. (Not that I’m all that worried, since EA usually gives us substantially more time than I generally need to get to the end, but I’m just surprised.)
Have you been clearing your penny fountain? The extra currency from that has helped me move through the prize track a lot quicker. I got the overturned beer truck this morning.
You shouldn’t have any trouble obtaining these prizes Sandra. With a minimum of effort I reckon most folks will be finished with a week or more to spare even without all the premier characters.
Oh, as I said, I’m not worried, just surprised. I got the beer truck tgis morning…so BIG!…and I should get the next prize sometime tomorrow, I think.
I just now got the beer truck (dang, it’s huge), but I’ve been clearing the fountain pretty regularly plus I bought the toll booth.
D’oh! I’m a dope….I had earned this prize when I thought I’d hadn’t….just didn’t click because I never had a chance to see Homer use it, since he’s been non-stop busy earning karma for me. I just got his second animation prize this morning.
I didn’t realize that I am 1/3 of the way to getting the second animation. I haven’t even been playing that much or think I haven’t been playing that much.
Also, found out the hard way regarding notifications and never check off either of the Notify boxes. I thought it would be handy if I had posted a request, question, or help. But alas that wasn’t the case when I started getting hundreds of emails in my inbox with nothing related to my query. Now I just have to go back in and see if anyone had responded or not. .

There is the word “Unsubscribe” at the bottom on the emails sent that you just click and it’ll walk you through the process. Almost any non personal email will have it but sometimes it’s harder to find.
Not being rude just honestly trying to be helpful since I’m notoriously bad for signing up for emails and the having to weed them out later
