This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of the Homer the Heretic questline you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.

I have almost finished this mini-event. I am just waiting with starting the last 4h action. I absolutely want to buy the synagoge with the rabbi, which comes in a few hours.
I don’t want, that something bad will happen, i.e. game crashes, and new items won’t be payable. Addicts wrote, that items will be still available, but also read some comments, in which people discribe problems.

I’m past the beer truck, working on the next step, when I go to the character list of who can collect karma, it shows a Paris Texan with a Get it button. However when I click the button it takes me to a page with the other people you can purchase for the event and doesn’t show her. She is no where to be found for purchase on any page. Anyone else having this issue?

You can’t purchase that character. To get Paris Texan you have to hit $1,000,000,000 in Springfield Heights cash.
She comes with the Billionaire Haven decoration .

I just unlocked the beer truck but I noticed that when I press the collect karma “do it” button to list the jobs it just crashes the game. Same with my metal depot. Is anyone else affected by this and could someone please tell me the characters who get karma for homers underwear task.
At least Tappers get to see Homer do a visual Task (which is funny to watch) 😄🍻

Anyone else still stuck with the ice princess martin task? i didnt buy the ice palace and now cant clear the task, seems unfair to force us to buy an item for donuts

Yes – we’re “still” stick with it because there hasn’t been an event takedown update yet. After this mini-event is over (I think January 18, IIRC) , there should be one, which you’ll need to go to the app store to do. My guess is that will remove the task…I do not believe for an instant that EA would leave it there just to force you to buy the castle – that’s just not their style.
I still have the Task, but if you click it, there’s no option to do anything (no blue “Go To” arrow). So it’s definitely (slowly) on the way out.

It actually was in krustyland for like a day then the next time I went there it was gone. Went back to my Springfield and saw the game had placed the beer truck on WATER! 😮

This thing is freakin’ HUGE! I’ve put in in storage for now (after first placing it…I always place things first, because I’ve read too many comments over the years about prizes disappearing when they’re put directly into inventory). I might take it back out when I finally get around to buying the Duff Brewery, if I feel like devoting the extra space to it…
Does this affect Righteousness at all? Just had my star count drop WAY down, and nothing else has changed. Thanks.
Not that I’m aware of
Unless you place a bunch of training walls or Nero walls for protection, random drops of Righteousness are not all that uncommon, though I’m not sure why.
It’s always tied to an event, when it happens to me.
Might be you didn’t clean up your buildings fast enough or missed catching Sideshow Bob in a friends town.
I’m glad that Homer has a task to play in the beer rain, but how many tasks does one character need?
I agree…but Homer’s the one with so many crazy/memorable moments from the show.
That’s true, but I wish they’d make the task premium, even if it’s just for the first time he does it. When I have a premium skin for a character, I tend to stick to using that one. I wouldn’t expect them to make it permanently pay premium, though, since it was free, but once would be nice (although maybe they figure that would be too confusing to players or too much of a pain to do, programmatically).
For next prize To earn coins, anyone else have Paris Texan but not in store to purchase? I never ran into this issue before.

It’s really not – it just takes a lot of time and patience and a bit of strategizing. You can’t treat it like an event….you have to look at it as a long-term project that you work away at when you have time to micromanage it (like while you’re watching TV or something), with whatever characters aren’t busy on more important stuff, like event tasks. It’s especially easy and fun to work on it between events.
I did mine by focusing on leveling one building at a time. Too many buildings at once at resource management becomes insane. The modern mansions are easiest. If you’re worried about space, you can store anything at any time. Level it up and store it. I have six fully upgraded parking garages in storage. I finished SH in two months with this method.
To be honest I’m waiting for EA to bring back the X 4 awards they gave us a while back. I’m on approx 530 million & will need this boost to obtain Paris or it will be a long wait.
Me too. Hopefully it will happen soon, I’m struggling to get to 200 million. Does anyone think the 4X multiplier will be back anytime soon?
