A super quick episode tie-in hit our games this afternoon. This is for this Sunday’s upcoming 1hr episode “The Great Phatsby”.
This really is super quick…
If you don’t already have the Burns Summer Mansion (from Superheroes 2), you’ll have to build it. (for free)
That will be followed by a quick 6s task for Mr. Burns.
And that’s it…you’ll then see this message:
And that’s it. All I’ve come across anyway. Really short, really simple. Really just a reminder to watch on Sunday…and a nice way to get the Mansion if you missed it during Superheroes.
Oh and this update should fix the Princess Nerd questline issue for Martin and the Ice Castle.

I didn’t notice it the first time around but if you place the summer mansion so that the front faces the sea the gold MB diamond by the front door is upside down. It’s the right way round when the mansion is turned round but all my buildings face the sea so it would look ridiculous. If i didn’t have mild OCD it wouldn’t matter 😃
Not the kinda quickie I’m used to. I mean, it should have been aaaat least a 2min task, right?! Just sayin, EA coulda been a little more into it 😉

On the bright side, my wife has been bugging me to purchase a new dinner set.
Whenever my grandmother broke something, she always said: “Shards will bring luck!” to ward of any item being broken in the future.
It wasn’t a “mini event”. It was a 6 second commercial for The Simpsons. Duh. I’m mean D’oh! 😉
The whole game is a commercial for the show, and…… visa versa.
Really? That’s it? I was surprised when I saw the update coming and especially when the dialogue started since I didn’t think anything would start while Homer the Heretic is still going on. But to just have one 6 second quest and re-release a building, that can’t be all there is to it? Right?
My email had to download 600MB worth of data for that stupid 6-second task. I am not happy.

Man that was a difficult event – I might have only got through it thanks to a Let’s Play on Twitch.
All joking aside, it would have been better had it not been a 6s task (it took longer for him to get there) and a reminder to watch an episode of a programme that I won’t be able to see for months (as we don’t all live in America).
Princess Nerd still showing up on my game, even after going to Krusty Land and back.
I would love to see that goose and the bling cooling towers in the game,(instead of offering only one thing that was available 6 months ago). I won’t be able to see this episode for a few weeks or months because season 28 has only just started on the channel that I usually watch Simpsons on last Sunday. 🙂🤑
It’s only just started for me in the UK. Atleast two episodes are airing a week, I think, as two aired on sky 1 last Sunday. It would of been cool to see Burns’ virtual reality set up, and VR costumes for Burns, Marge, Lisa, Bart, and Maggie. 😛 And even though this was just a really small mini tie in thing, it would of been nice to see a few items in the store.. 🙂
Yeah it was Monty Burns’ Fleeing Circus + Friends and Family that aired as I am also in the UK. This could be a teaser for something next to come in the game.

That awesome a 1hr episode but thing that got me annoyed was what point of trying to get the summer mansion but them just give for free and that quest line was short but a lot of dialogue
But I just stored that monstrosity.

Did the update and sadly still showing Martin’s quest even after a full reset.
What’s the point of grinding through the events if they are just going to give away the prizes a few months later?
The mansion was free during the event, upgrading it took all the work.
The Ice Palace quest line is still there for me 😕
Nope, no Martin ice Princess bug removal for me so far.
Summer Mansion Both Wings has a golden plaque at the front door now. It’s fancy!
I think that was always there.
No, the dialogue said something about golden tickets or whatever, and I’m pretty sure (for what that’s worth) that it’s new.
It wasn’t there originally, but it has been there for awhile now. I noticed when it changed.
If I remember correctly, the plaque was added sometime soon after the Superheroes Event. I don’t think I had it even though my mansion was at level 29, then a week later it showed up during an update. My second Springfield received the level 15 mansion today for free. I kind of wish I could level up myself.
While cool for newer players, felt like it was basically a commercial for the rest of us. Wouldn’t have minded a random tie-in decoration…but it was just a 6-second task with an episode reminder. Whee?
Maybe we’ll get something on Sunday or Monday. 🙂

No luck, the Ice Palace task is still pending in my game unfortunately.
Really disappointing for an episode that has had a lot of hype – being the first 1 hour episode!
Also, not a big fan of the way they gave the Burns Manner for FREE. Always thought that would return for a lot of donuts.
Just can’t win: If it comes back for donuts, people complain because it was free the first time. If it comes back free, people complain because it should cost donuts.
It didn’t fix the ice princess quest for me. Is there anything special you have to do if it doesn’t clear? I tried going back and forth to krustyland.
Hopefully it will clear with the next store update.

I still have the Martin task hanging out. Oh well, if it’s still around after the big take down, maybe I’ll try an uninstall. I was wondering about people who didn’t have the mansion. Now I know…The rest of the story.
Ice Martin task is still in my task book, and the supposed fix for the penny fountain hasn’t worked either!
I hope those who never had the mansion…don’t get both wings for free as well? We had to work quite a while to get the full mansion, if I remember correctly?
Sorry Alissa but my princess Martin and ice palace task is still there and you know how much this annoys me I like to have a clear task list now.
Also very disappointed that EA are not rewarding long term players with new content Eg. Recently the new years ball and today’s summer mansion. I would have thought that for an hour long special we could have seen more.
i’m not surprised. We’re still in the middle of an “event”…small seems logical. I am surprised there’s no premium item…
