It’s Sunday Morning in Springfield! Gather up those religions because Homer wants to sample them all! Like a religious smorgasbord…as long as Homer can still have the bacon!
This event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of the Homer the Heretic questline you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.

I'm with every Tapper that feels EA were lazy developing this Mini Event! 👎
I agree about the disappointment about no character interaction with this building and I was hoping the takedown update would of gave it some but it didn’t. 😟
Wow, I actually haven’t unlocked this yet. Just can’t get motivated to play.
Last night I received the hamburger joints, this morning when I signed in church popped up. Then a prompt saying “You’ve reach the end of the prize track!”
Then all blips disappeared and the event was over. Sort of an anti-climactic end if you ask me.. seems like EA is just saying “pay us donuts for preists” and took a couple weeks off. I haven’t missed an event since xmas 2014 and these past couple have probably been the worst.
Well…there certainly was a feeling of “unfinished business” about it. But, then again…aren’t we all works in progress?
OK. Enough with the metaphysics. Yes. It was a pretty lame way to end the event.
So just to be clear… once you’ve earned the 980 karma coins for Hamburger Heaven, you are then immediately awarded the glass ceiling church without any further need for coin accumulation? In other words, Hamburger Heaven and the glass ceiling church cost a total of 980 coins?
Yes… you earn Hamburger Heaven and then are prompted for two 4 hr quests (separate from karma collection) which then award the Cathedral.

Sorry for the delay it’s not so important now but… I think some extra accumulation occurred during the “mass pickup” phase on sign in but yes, once the Hamburger Haven was built, I received the Church in the same few minutes thereafter

Is this event still going? I thought it finished a week or so back! Roll on the next one 😀
I’m confused too. I think the event is still going so long as the splash screen shows pagan Homer. Things have gotten weird. The last two events were so disjointed. I think the EA designers must have phoned it all in. I’m looking forward to normality again.

I was disappointed by that as well. I even had a spot there all picked out for it.

I like the look of it too, which makes the lack of animation more annoying.
There is no task for the usual “suspects” ! EA has dropped the ball again 😡
I agree. An event prize building should be animated. Without any animation this one is especially meh.
Wise Guy won’t even use it for his 24 hour task. Maybe a future update will put this building in the restaurant category. Then at least he’d use it, if you can get him in it.
Well, that stinks. I figured at least he could use it, but hadn’t tried yet.
I tested it in some open space I have. He went to a Lard Lads that was much farther away.
I agree completely!! It annoys me that all buildings don’t get used for tasks and it irritates me when EA gives a building an animation but you can only animate it once!
Just my two cents, but when a character has a task to get a tattoo (and the like) why the heck don’t they get to use the only tattoo shop in town?! Ugh. :-$
I often wish that I could click on a given building and it would list all available tasks for idle characters. Just a suggestion if anyone from EA is reading 😉
I like the look of the building, I just haven’t found a proper place for it😀
