Showoff Second Reminder: Places of Worship

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a second reminder that we’ll be doing a Places of Worship Inspired Springfield Showoff this weekend!  So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!

It’s time to showoff your towns.  So send us your Places of Worship designs and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs, THIS SATURDAY (January 21st)

So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Friday (January 20th). Can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.

Remember if you’re having trouble posting your images you can always email them to us…TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com.

You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com.  We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us. (don’t worry I’ll still be pulling from the announcement post we put up last week as well…)

Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots.  We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images.  Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too).  We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two.  If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week.  You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page.  We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme.  Remember, this isn’t a contest.  There’s nothing to win.  It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts.  🙂

    My religious quarter, still needs a little tweaking but fairly happy with it. My Buddhist temple has been like that for years so others had to fit in around it!

    Mine are mostly scattered all over Springfield, but after all the new churches etc we got lately, maybe it is time to build “worship lane”.

      Can always count on Britt for some awesome designs that are just the style I like.

      On a side note, new Gravatar is very Simpson-y. Don’t tell your hubby, but I liked the old Gravatar images better 🙂

        Oh, I just scrolled over the Gravatar and saw the little one, I assume is one of yours. You can easily miss her on a quick glance in the Gravatar icon. Love it when parents instill the values of Simpson appreciation from an early age. I routinely tap in the presence of my soon to be one year old nephew.

          Lol, thanx, I think I needed a confidence booster after the week I’ve had. And yes, that is my little one. We took that photo when we went to Disney and Universal year before last. She loves the Simpsons and watching me play TSTOA. I think it’s awesome that you spend time with your nephew and share things you enjoy with him. It’s going to be moments he looks back on and treasures🙂

            And fun fact, if you look closely you’ll see homer has a large hole in the top of his head. (I know it’s to help ventilate the costume but still a funny little detail)
