Should I Spend Donuts On Gil’s Jay G Deal?

The snow may be gone but the party’s just getting started!  Gil arrived in Springfield a couple of days ago with an all new Phatsby of a deal!  Premium…of course.

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add Jay G’s Gil deal to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this faith healer to your Springfield…

Combo Characters: Jay G and Goosius
Combo Decoration/Buildings: Jay G’s Mansion and Pool
Donut Price: 225 Dounts
Earns: Mansion earns Earns $300, 30xp/12hrs.  Pool earns 2.25% bonus on all cash and XP.
Size: 12×18 Mansion and Pool (each)
Conform-O-Meter: Mansion : Indolence +20, Pool: Vanity +200

Leaves Stores January 25th

Pros
-Mansion is a unique building with a LOT of attention to detail. Looks awesome
-Comes with two characters.  One with a full set of tasks and the other’s an NPC.
-Pool offers a decent bonus %, considering everything else you get with the combo (for the donuts spent)
-Jay G has some fun tasks, one of which involves Goosius

Cons
-Not voiced
-Still a pricey donut offer
-Mansion and the pool are both MASSIVE in side.  You’ll need a lot of open space to place them.

Final Thought
Premium:
I like this one.  You get a lot in this bundles for the donuts.  Do I wish it was cheaper?  Yes. 225 donuts is a steep price to pay for a 1 off character.  BUT the Mansion design (and the pool) is a decent trade off.  I’d say if you’re a premium player consider picking this one up.

Freemium:
The one downside with this combo (Aside from the price) is that Jay G is a one off character.  So Freemium players, if you have a ton of donuts at the ready you may want to consider this one.  But if you’re saving up for a classic character already in the store or one that may hit with the next event…pass.

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do.  And I can tell you as a premium player, I picked him up almost immediately. Just remember this is limited time , and will be leaving our stores next week.  So be sure to make your final decision before he’s gone from our games for good. (
