Not to much going on in Springfield right now. The snow has melted and a few changes have been made to Springfield Heights. Have you picked up new land? Enjoying the new 8hr tasks?

Hey Everybody, thought I would do a test with the gnome…now my box is open and gnome is nowhere to be found. Went to K L & back to see if that would put him back nope. Oh well sure he needs some exercise. I like him so don’t mind him waundering around town. Wondering if you that have lost yours if he has come back yet?
I’ve found him before just wandering around, & other times he just ended up back in the box 😊
I found him by accident, was working on town, & he was laying on pavement, tapped on him, he melted then was back in box.😀

Has anyone completed Lurleen’s questline? I got her about 6 months ago and I still have tasks for Marge and Moe that are locked.
I can’t seem to be able to move along in the questline. Contacted EA and they suggested hard closing my iPad and reinstalling TSTO which I’ve done. Still no progress.
I’d love to know wether anyone else is having this issue so that I can get back to EA with more info.
I am experiencing the same thing, it says a quest is required. No quest has ever been prompted😐
If you’re having an issue with it too there must be more. I’ll get in touch with EA.

Question regarding Gnome in the Home. I know you can release him and try to find him. My question is this. When released, is he just laying around somewhere or is he animated and walking about? I have spent the last week trying to find him and is no where to be found. Event shut down buildings, fences, trees, to get a more transparency to my Springfield and still nothing. All I want to do is put him back in his box and put him in storage.
My gnome is currently not in his box either, I checked everywhere too, I even checked in Krustyland 😛 I think he is probably walking around somewhere, but he is just too small to find without using the gnome radar we had for the event. As a suggestion, You can always just store his box, if you cannot see him anyway, then it won’t matter if he is not in the box. ( he probably went back to the North Pole to help Santa) 😛. 🐱🌸🌟
Am I a bad girl for letting the gnome loose in my neighboreeno’s towns when I come across the box? 👼 I have been able to find him in my town, but it’s been totally by chance😁
I’m telling Santa what you did 😛 but actually I don’t think tapping it in their town really lets him loose for them, I think it’s just to show you (the neighbour who is visiting) the animation. But maybe it was you who let them all free. 😛. 🐱🌸🌟
it didn’t count as 1 out of 3 taps when I did it so I suspect he is loose in my neighbours town. 😬 Oops.

I don’t think it counts as a tap/friend action, but I think it just makes it fun to see the animation, like the “worlds largest zirconia” if you tap it, it ‘disappears’ but I’m not sure. The gnomes are probably happy to be able to explore and not be stuck in their box 😃. 🐱🌸🌟

I haven’t decided whether to even go looking for my gnome…I rather like that I’ve set him free – seems inhumane to keep him locked up in a box every day for a year! Or maybe I’ll go look for him, then set him free again…kinda give him something to do…a game to play.
That’s what I ended up doing, just put the box in storage and now I’m not really going to worry about it. Maybe from time to time when there is nothing to do I can go hunting but really not going to worry about it anymore.

Also, if it helps, he actually isn’t walking around, he just sits in the 1 spot and waits (I found my gnome) 🙂 he was sitting near Springfield Falls. (good choice, that’s a nice place to sit) 🙂

If any of your neighbours are on this site- maybe they can have a look when they visit your town to see if they can find him.
I shut down ALL the items except for ‘Characters’ and he was easy to spot when I did that.
I’ve had the same problem. Tried everything you mentioned. That stupid gnome is nowhere to be found. That gnome box is still flappin’ in the breeze. Hate the gnome😡
Not sure if anyone has brought this up yet, but I’m wondering if something is going on with Krustyland. It seems like there are an awful lot of daily challenges involving collecting Krustyland tickets. Seems odd.
Or the poor programmer who created it is just trying to remind people it’s there…

It’s funny, but I always ditch the cash rewards for daily tasks. This morning, 1k for 50 tix, x’d it out & got a donut for 25 tix😁 It’s been that pattern all week😊
I’m trying to see if I should spend my money to upgrade my IRS building. I’m on level 7 right now. Is it worth it to spend that money on an upgrade? Thanks.
I’d say no, unless you’re working to get to level 9 to get the spruced up facade. In my town, that facade wouldn’t work in the neighborhood in which I put my IRS building, so I won’t go to level 9. I was actually at level 2 or 3 from the time it came out until just the other day, but, in the past few days, I’ve leveled it up twice. Think I’ll stop now, though, as the price is getting really exorbitant.
Got hit with an update this morning and some dialog about Chinese New Year. Currently progressing on a task where you send 3 Simpsons to clean the Simpson house for 4 hours. Was able to send Mooch Bart, Future Lisa, and Mona. You can send the other Simpsons but mine were in the middle of heights and railyard tasks.
Well done neroon80 on levelling up but how did you not run out of money? T thought I had millions of cash but only managed to reach half way?! O well, keep collecting eh?
Well to be honest going from 185 to 939 cost me about 11.5 million in game cash. My bonus percentage helped me im sure. Im up to 394 on my bonus. I guess you need more money or a higher bonus to get there.
Neroon- Good job! Envious that your mountains are complete.
Gilly – I’m down to about 6 million and 267% and it’s taking me quite awhile with randomly using the collider when I have over 5 million.. Currently on level 623. I am not in a big hurry and have stored most of my SH so that’s probably contributing to my slow pace. I think everyone plays different – my priority is usually on keeping my town looking nice and getting super OCD on the small decorations that no one else would probably notice.
Thanks keep going you’ll get there. I didn’t use the sh bonus. Most of my bonus comes from all the wailing walls I crafted during the Halloween event a couple of years ago. There’s no room in my town for all those giant sh buildings. Im like you most of my town has small decorations. In fact ea just gave me a warning that I have 6200items in my town. I have to be careful what I add now.
That’s encouraging! I crafted wailing walls, but it was before I was very focused on my bonus, so I think I have maybe 15-20 total hiding around town. I’d have to spent a long time looking. I just got my first warning about item limits, and that’s part of what made me store SH. I was able to power through the recent update and unlock the land, at least. Right now in the process of making a halloween/pagan/christmas town in that area, a little ode to nightmare before christmas. Everything is just dumped there right now but I’m enjoying the down time, working little sections at a time.

Perhaps I’m the only one that has noticed this, but did anyone else notice that their fall colored trees are no longer fall colors? I bought the orange and yellow trees specifically for my halloween area and now they are all green. Was this a mistake with the latest update? Is anyone else reporting it? Do these usually change to green and I just never noticed?
They change color in the fall and then lose their leaves in the winter and then back to green after the snow is removed.
Don’t mind me I’m just passing through .

It’s good to have a break. It gets so frantic when there’s an event. Now there’s time for real life, like cleaning (boring) cooking (enjoy) looking for a job (frustrating) and planning my 60th birthday party 🎉 (not really sure about how I feel there)
I should be designing what I have accumulated over the last few months but I can’t decide what to do with all this stuff. I bought a boatload of donuts in October but now I only have about 200 left. Got some things I’ve been wanting for some time and it was nice to be able to pick up some limited time items. I was hoping it would last a bit longer but…..oh well, the more you’ve got, the more you spend.
One thing that’s really bugging me is the stuck questline for Lurleen. I think I got her about 6 months ago. There are 2 locked tasks for Marge and one for Moe. I contacted EA and spoke with a lovely woman named Sandra. (Are you secretly working for EA, Sandra Shill?) Unfortunately her advice didn’t help. She told me to hard close my iPad and reinstall the game. Did it but still no joy. Has anyone else been able to resolve this issue?
No worries! 60 is GREAT! It’s the new 59!! So unlike 63 (which was my last one) which feels like the new 63.

Well at a certain point considering the alternative to growing older does keep a smile on your face.
Nope – not me! But maybe I can help…what are the stuck tasks? Maybe they require one or more buildings or something that you’ve put into storage? I have Lurleen, so maybe I can check I my game.
Also, and forgive me if this is too obvious, but have you checked the walkthrough for her posted here on this site? That might hep solve the mystery… But, if it’s truly a bug, then EA will be the only folks who can help, though you might have to keep calling back until you reach someone who’s competent enough to be able to fix this for you.

I’ve checked the walkthrough here and I’ve completed part of it. I’ve made sure that Lurleen, Moe and Marge are free and I’ve stored and put back Moe’s and the Beer’n’brawl. I’ve hard closed my iPad and reinstalled the game. I’ve also stored and placed the BBQ pit. I can’t think of anything else I can do.
The tasks that are still locked are Marge’s write a smear article and do a load of laundry. Moe’s task is to do a slanderous documentary. They’re all long 24 hour tasks, one is 1 and 1/2 days so I’d like to complete the questline while we have the downtime.
I’ve forgotten what part of the questline I’m up to but I have the BBQ pit and I’ve put Lurleen on that task a number of times. There is also a task for her to do a show which Springfielders attend. It’s not in her task list but there is a task for her at the outdoor theatre. I’ve had her do that a number of times as well.
Would love to know if anyone has completed this questline. I’ll get back to EA.

Hi Sue, age is simply a number, I refuse to grow up! I can say this as I’m only a year behind you, only time I think about my age is when I can’t do things as easily as used to.
Agree with house work, boring…catching up on laundry, boring… Just came in from yard work as it’s actually decent weather right now and Mia (puppy) was away for trip to vet, but she is back, hard to accomplish much with a puppy harassing the 4 other dogs🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶, oh and let’s not forget the 2 cats we are still trying to find homes for. Anyone out there want 1 or 2 free Beautiful Siamese cats?😺😺

Hi HH, I’m getting used to the idea of reaching another decade. Turning 40 and 50 were happy milestones in my life so I’ve decided that 60 will be another. I am doing 2 days training next week for Integration Aide work and really looking forward to it. It’s the start of a new line of work for me.
I’d love to have a cat or a dog (I don’t have enough space for a dog) I really miss my cat. Bit of a long trip for your Siamese though.

Hi Sue, Hank has good days and bad days, but thankfully more good. Had a scare last week with his not breathing right & coughing, gave half of Benadryl and that helped enough. I’m praying he will beat odds and stay with me.
Agree lil far for cat/cats or I would gladly ship to you😉. I hope pep don’t misunderstand the cats were Chewfred’s husband who passed away, and we are both allergic so can’t handle them & they need more attention. They are both beautiful, loving animals, we feel bad that they don’t get as much love as they should. Also the dogs aren’t getting along with them at all we don’t want any of them to get hurt fighting.

I’ll be 55 in less than a month & agree, age is only an excuse to say you’re too old to… (complaining is ok, it might be painful or impossible due to health, if I only had known I’d be stuck with this body this long😂) . Hi everyone, I recently had to delete some neighbours 😕 (some of them had been my neighbour for a long time) but I was having trouble visiting their towns (my game was closing down) the same neighbours also had not been visiting me, so maybe there was a problem/glitch.. Just in case any of my deleted neighbours by chance see this, I’m sorry I had to delete you, but I didn’t want to take a place on your neighbour list and not be able to help you by visiting. I was hoping the latest update would remove the quest for the ice castle. Apparently not. You need to fix this, EA.
For three days, I have been dismissing a “collect Krustyland tickets” daily challenge that pays out in cash. Every day, it gives me the same task again, but with a slightly different amount of cash as a payout. FINE. I WILL GO TO KRUSTYLAND.
The same thing happened to me recently. I had a really good run of dismissing tasks and getting 3 donut tasks at one point but they’ve all dried up.

With the land expansion in SH, I finally decided to connect my monorail tunnels. Unfortunately, I have the “off by 1” problem that has plagued quite a few people. I don’t really feel like trying to move everything over by one square. I think that would be a nightmare. Coming close to just scrapping the monorail altogether. I don’t like how it blocks my streets, as I can’t see the characters walking/hanging out under the tracks.
I put it all in storage for similar reasons. Have not regretted it.
Plus there are multiple reports out there of the monorail causing serious glitches (missions characters, layering issues, lag) especially if it’s large or crosses rivers. There’s also the item count to consider. Way too much hassle for something I don’t feel is contributing to the aesthetics of my town.
Hi Jason, I’ve been through that several times. Seriously thinking of scrapping the whole monorail, only thing holding me back is all the time invested. The other problem with it, is it takes up soooooooo much space.

I just want to thank EA for delaying the release of the next event until after today. I had to go visit my parents this weekend (Saturday through today), so it was great not to have to worry about tapping every four hours because I might lose out on something. 🙂
Hooray for me! While we wait for the next event decided it was time for me to level up my town. Today I turned on the collider and used the rat trap truck trick and leveled my town from 185 and joined the 939 club. Now I have a nice stockpile of donuts and it will be nice to get 3 donuts again when I max out my XP bar. C’mon EA im waiting for you I need something to do. Lol!

But we’re all real proud! At least some of us are…I think…maybe a little…hard to tell with their heads down , looking at their phones…tapping away. Never mind them, congrats 🎉…and don’t forget to do the “spiral lights, hold-hold-hold and now release” when you win bonuts!

Tyler. . . I use the trick thar the addicts team gave out last year. Of the three boxes, choose the one on the right wait until lights are “cycling”then press and HOLD until . Hope this helpslights are just about to meet at top of box then quixkly lift off your finger. Works for me 99%, but if your timing is not on and you get 1 donut pick box to the immediate left. It will be 3. If you get 2 on your first try the 3 donuts will be in the far left box
The lights blink, they flash they twirl, they spiral,
then they start at the bottom, split and cycle up both sides and meet together at the top.
My method is to wait UNTIL they meet at the top, press and hold and wait UNTIL they meet at the top for the second time.
Usually, it seems to work – at least more often than 1 / 3.
Press and hold the RIGHT square.
