TSTO Splash Screens and Poll

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

As we await the  “next big thing” in TSTO, I thought it would be fun to cover another one of your (the readers) requested items…a collection of the TSTO Splash screens!

As of this posting there have been 54 different Splash Screens for TSTO.  From 3 in 2012, 7 in 2013, 6 in 2014, 6 1/2 in 2015 (Winter was split between 2015 and 2016), 6 1/2 in 2016, 5 in 2017, 6 in 2018, 6 in 2019, 6 in 2020, and 6 in 2021…it’s been fairly even for big App Store Event releases from year to year.

So here’s the gallery of the TSTO Splash Screens through the years and I will try my best to remember to continue to update as new Splash Screens are added.

And just for giggles…here’s the collection of App Store Icons for TSTO….

    Uhh why do you all have ‘The Simpsons tapped out’ splash screens?
    My android in The Netherlands says: The Simpsons Springfield.. it just to be tapped out but this mini event it says ‘Springfield’..

    I’ll play along … Fun Fact: Winter 2015/2016 part 2 with Maggie is the only splash screen with the whole Simpson family (Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie) 🤓

    Fun Fact: I’ve been playing in and out since 2012 but, I didn’t know there were ‘summer events’!! 😱😂😅

    I mostly played from Halloween, going through Thanksgiving and Christmas, sometimes until San Valentine and Easter… until last year, lol

    So, I was so glad when the Monorail got permanent on our Springfields and some ‘limited edition’ stuff showed up again on store… and now, I finally got to see the Splash Screens. Thank you! 😜

    I voted before looking at the results and was pleasantly surprised to see that my vote was the top vote-getter so far. Coincidentally, my second and third choices match as well. I guess many of us think alike. 🙂

    I’m liking the splash screens that give you a hint of what’s coming. Like a pre-promise. It gets my anticipation up and I watch carefully to see what’s come and what’s yet to come.

    Those that have the finger interactive with the event are fun too (not just there on the screen).

    Winter with Maggie, I seem to spend a lot of time on the splash screen, it’s nice to have lots to look at

    For me it was a toss up between Halloween 2014 and Krustyland. I ended up choosing Halloween 2014. I’m surprised that the Superheros 2 is currently in first as that was probably one of my least favorite and it’s the only one besides Terwilligers that does not feature Homer.

    I voted for Halloween 2015, I love the Halloween ones the most. But now I think maybe the first Halloween with the skeleton finger! How to choose?!

    Had to go by how creatively they included Skyfinger – was at first torn between Monorail and Casino, but in the end the Wild West one won my vote.

    Always loved the Valentine Day 2014 splashscreen. Really surprised Supheroes 2 splashscreen is #1 at the moment because, unlike common opinion, I liked the event but found the splashscreen a bit too ‘vectory’ if you know what I meant. Looked cool but wasn’t the best quality. What are the Addicts teams favourites? Alissa, Wookie, Pat… anyone out there?

    I am genuinely suprised that the Super Heroes 2 splashscreen is in the lead. It would have been a great screen, but they made Homer look ugly.

    I voted for Christmas 2013 because I think it’s sweet to see Homer and Sky Finger walking hand in hand. But, I do love the first Halloween one too.

    Great too see all the old screens.
    Iv’e noticed many tappers in the past praising the stone cutters event, anyone have a link I could look at too see what all this was about ?
