Chinese New Year is nearly upon us and the Simpsons are all about celebrating to earn a clean slate for the new year! So let’s clean house and pile up those donuts because there’s a store full of new Chinese New Year themed premium items just tempting us to spend sprinkles on them!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Pros
-Unique looking decoration for your ocean
-Bonus % is ok, but not great.
Cons
-Just a decoration, doesn’t do anything. Just floats in the ocean
-Large footprint for not a lot of open ocean space
Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
Meh. I’m not a huge fan of this one. It’s just a boat…we’ve got a TON of boats for Springfield (several of which were free). The bonus % isn’t that great for donuts spent. Personally, I’d pass on this one.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you as a premium player, I’m passing. It just seems like a waste of donuts to me. Just remember this is limited time , and will be leaving our stores next week. So be sure to make your final decision before they’re gone from our games for good. (or for now..)

I picked it up immediately. I love having a variety of boats and moving them around. I do wish it had some animation. If EA keeps adding items to be placed in the ocean, they should give us another strip of water.
It’s a neat Boat, except EA missed on the opportunity to give it some Character interactions (and that Bonus % should’ve been 5%) 🤔

It’s related to a new task that hits on the 28th.
Several characters all have the same task blacked out…guess we’ll see how it goes on Saturday…

I found out it’s the charger not the phone and I don’t even have money for that, I got bluestacks but I get as far as Lisa’s first line of dialogue then it shuts down every time unless someone can suggest a better emulator
What kind of charger?
I use Leapdroid (on PC), but the developers have shutdown the project. You might be able to find it somewhere. The last version was 1.8.0.0 and it’s far better than Bluestacks. There are a lot of other options out there (Andy, Droid4X, Nox etc etc) but they’re all for PC & I have no idea what works on Mac.
Surely your phone uses a standard micro-USB connection? You can charge from a computer (desktop or laptop doesn’t matter) with a suitable cable. You can get cables for a few bucks… I have acquired dozens of them now!
Or buy a used iPad on ebay for $50….
A year ago this time I would have said I’m a completest. But lately with all the premium content and big buildings I’m running out of space. I think I will pass on this although I might regret it later.
Or they may bring it back later at a two for one discount…”twice the Junk at half the price”…sorry, watching too much late night TV….
Well, *whatever* my next bonus enhancement happens to be will finally push me over 400%, and I will admit to a certain amount of built up anticipation for that, symbolically if nothing else… but I’m afraid this just isn’t going to be the purchase that does it. The Junk simply doesn’t excite me.
Need more water space before I buy more boats or decorations , the ocean needs to extend outward. Alot of clutter in my ocean now.
