Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s time to take off in Springfield! FINALLY an Airport has been added and the tourists are flocking to Springfield..it’s time to go Around the World in our pocket sized towns!
The Around the World Event hit our devices yesterday afternoon and with it arrived, not only the Airport and tourists roaming our streets, but a whole new questline to work our way through!
As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 1 runs until February 12th, and you’ll need Homer to get things started.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.

I’ve gotten through every questline except the one with the lights. That one never popped up for me. Oh well, I’ll just buy the lights anyway.
I’m having fun – Viva Le France (lol) – except for Prize 2 (an NPC Donkey? Really EA?) 😜
It’s not a difficult Event (even if EA needs to fix that international flight ticket availability bug – pronto) and yay more Land! 😊
Really like the industrial Airport look. It gives me somewhere to put Modern Mansion extensions, Space shuttle, Valet parking business centers…without looking out of place…and the Crazy Plane of course!
Am I the only one that finds it a shame that collecting pins from your neighbours still allows you to vandalise buildings? Surely for the event this function should be turned off?
I have both inadvertently vandalised a building and had people do the same to mine, both certainly without intention.

What is the Osaka Flu? One of my story lines has it as the fourth icon under the reward center?
I still can only send three characters on flights. Never more never less. Even when I have more plane tickets. Most people I have seen can send more when they get more tickets.
Up until 20 minutes ago it only took 2 minutes to regenerate plane tickets. Now it takes 14 minutes. Argh.

Yes, I noticed it also – UGH – I was going to complain about the 2 minutes, as I play Simpsons for about 3 minutes in the morning, about 3 minutes when I get home, and sometimes 5-10 minutes before bed. Usually it is enough time to do whatever I need to do, but now – ugh! BAD BAD BAD.
The reason I don’t play Family Guy anymore is because they made it so you had to really live in the game, play it non-stop throughout the day to do special events. What I liked about The Simpsons, was it was staying a casual game for casual players. I really hate to see the game go away from being a casual game.
I purchased americatown with the kumiko skin but I don’t know how to send her on a lflight. She does not show up as a character I can choose at the airport. Help?
You have to wait until she is “chosen” to be eligible for a flight. It took several groups of flights before she was an option for me to select.
Sorry to anyone I accidentally tagged when I hit pins. I didn’t realize that they would vandalize. 😡
Not sure if this was already answered, but does tapping on a pin on one of the buildings with a spray can trigger said can?
I have tapped the pins and not heard the noise associated with vandalizing a building, but the building is still tagged.

anyone else notice that not all premium characters earn premium pins? Jasper and babysitter bandit aren’t earning 68 like kumiko

emmmm, this is the first and only one in this year so far… it’s only February though hehe
I know and maybe some future events can be better but respect to the previous year after the burns casino that I loved first event of the year the events that follow it weren’t so good, the only one that I save from those is the Wild West that was acceptable not a firework but acceptable, after it I played only to get some buildings that I want for my Springfield or to add new character that earn 💰 so I can recapitalize when I buy land or upgrade the IRS not because I liked the event

Noticing a glitch I’ve never seen before. Sending all free characters on a task through the unemployment office doesn’t seem to be working right. they all seem to go off on the selected jobs when the option is selected but after logging back into my town an hour later, they’re all wandering around task-free. Odd…..

I shouldn’t be so excited about it but Woo-hoo I got the Asian…err…the Osaka flu! I can’t wait to start infecting my nearest and dearest friends in about half an hour.

So I noticed my Kumiko earns regular freemium $/XP but earns premium with the Sailor skin. Is this expected? I wasn’t around for her first launch so don’t know if she was premium back then.
She was a free character that came with an episode tie-in. Now that she’s part of a donut deal… the premium makes sense.

Not sure if this is the right place, but I can only send 2 people on flights even though everyone is free. Is anyone else experiencing that?
Does anyone know what the deal is with this flu/virus. I tap the thing in my town and then when I go to my neighbors like it says there is nothing? I’m a bit lost 😊
It’s probably the flu making you hazy… Or not.
We are working on this…but as it sounds like it may be an Asian Flu of some sort, it may relate to Act II. Or not. Hard to tell with the flu.
I just got the Osaka flu myself and am waiting until tomorrow to infect all my friends muwahahahahahahaha! But I’m pretty sure the Japanese culture is next.
in norbert’s adventure tasks, there is one tip and four available flights for four different characters. do i only send the one character that is related to the tip given? or can i send all of them and earn more pins?
