Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Several weeks ago we challenged you guys to design the next event (whether large or mini) of TSTO with our Main Event Contest and holy smokes did you guys respond big time! Y’all never fail to amaze us, we were completely blown away by your entries!
Over the past week the Addicts staff (Bunny, Patric, Wookiee and I) have been reading each and every one of your entries, in our effort to narrow down the top 10. One thing we discovered is you guys have some AMAZING ideas! It was a real struggle to narrow down the field to just 10 finalists, but we finally all came to an agreement on the Top 10. Trust me….no easy task!
So with out further ado…let me introduce to you the 10 Finalists for the Main Event Contest…
Actually, before I get into the top 10 I want to take a moment to thank everyone who entered the contest. You all seriously did an amazing job and it was difficult to pick just 10 entries. For those not in the top 10, I will be making an effort over the next couple of weeks to post your event ideas so that your fellow Addicts can see your fantastic ideas!
And now onto the Top 10…
So here’s the deal with these entries. We’re going to give you a quick breakdown here on this post of the contestant, their basic idea, a few characters and then we’ll have a link to read more…TRUST ME you’ll want to read more! Many have full quest dialogues and images as well as the buildings and decorations for the events. So make sure you read all the details BEFORE voting for your favorites! 🙂

Last day of voting and because I can’t decide I’ve been spreading round my votes!
Just wanted to say how great all 10 of these are, I’ve really enjoyed reading them. It was so hard to choose just one! Thanks to all the finalists and a huge well done! You’re all fab – let’s hope we get to do all these at some point soon in our games!
I made a submission, but mine was but anpoor third grade offering compared to the Graduate School offerings put forth by the winners.
I am in awe of their depth and breadth. My sincerest congratulations to the winners.

I was so excited when I got chosen for the top ten. All of the entries are awesome. I’ve voted for four of them so far.
Putting mine together really made me appreciate the hard work the people at EA do to keep the game flush with updates and all the work the Addicts do to report on it. Keep up the good work.
Also, as someone who loves Krustyland, but misses having more content, I can’t believe I missed the opportunity to work in a Corporal Punishment/Nauseator combo. Maybe that could replace the airport prize since EA beat me to that.

I loved all of them, some would be better as minievents and others as three acts events. Someone please contact EA and make this happen
The Henry (Homer) VIII event would be totally dope! The costumes, the story line, the prizes! Incredible!
These are amazing, and it will be interesting to see if EA “borrows” any of these great ideas. Several quests seem similar to other events and I went with Craig L since I’ve wanted Vicky Valentine from day one. GREAT JOB EVERYBODY!!!
Thank you soooooo much mods for picking my submission as part of the Top 10. I’m really honored to be included among with such great ideas. I think all of these would make fantastic future events. Wow! It feels like I have been playing TSTO forever and reading these articles for just about as long. I finally decided to get over being shy and participate, and I made the final ten! Thanks, Addicts! Everyone’s ideas are amazing, so detailed. Good luck to all.

I’ve only had time to read the first 5 so far and I gotta say….holy cow….I tried to come up with something but was having a hard time and I can see so far that I was out of my league! Fantastic ideas! Can’t wait to read the other 5 later today and start voting!

Haha, I noticed that too. There are some striking similarities. I particularly like how you incorporated songs from the series into your tasks. That was pretty inspired.

I’m really hoping that EA gives us an event similar to what the two of you have suggested. I’d be so happy! So many characters I’ve wanted for so long…I used to work backstage on Broadway, and my husband was a dancer, who then opened his own school. Therefore, Chazz Buzzby & Vicki Valentine are high on my most wanted list, and Bleeding Gums Murphy is long overdue. Awesome ideas from both of you! Congrats!

I so want an event like the two of you created, so I’m really hoping that the theater vote doesn’t get split, ensuring that something else will win.
This is so hard to decide who do vote for they are all really good ideas for events and I hope they all come into the game in some way.

All these are great ideas and I am not going to vote for myself but all great submissions so I don’t know which one to pick!! The Wizard one sounds great because of my love for Harry Potter, I’ve always wanted a Springfield Collage event and The Talent Show idea incorporates so many of my loves and much wanted characters.
