Special Option: If you don’t already have Uter (and the Hungry Hun) you will be offered them as a bundle with the Chapel. The Hungry Hun, Uter & Chocolate Chapel Bundle is 160 donuts with a 40 donut rebate, so net 120 donuts. You can find more details about the Hungry Hun here. I will tell you, that’s a great deal and if you don’t already have Uter you should pick it up before it’s gone. (Uter will still be in the store after the 15th, but not at that discounted rate)

Premium or Freemium:
Unless, as stated above, you don’t already have Uter…PASS. If you already have Uter the Chapel just isn’t worth it. No character interaction, so it’ll just sit in Springfield unused.
As I stated above, if you do not have Uter this is a great price (net 120 donuts) for the bundle and you should pick it up.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you as a premium player, I’m passing (I already have Uter). Just remember this is limited time, and will be leaving our stores soon. Whatever you decide, So be sure to make your final decision before it’s gone from our games for good. (or for now..)

For any of you who are still on the fence about the bundle, buy buy buy!! Uter is one of my favorite characters. I love both his 8 hour and 24 hour tasks, and he helps at the dump and with recycling plastic. I love the appearance of the Hungry Hun. 2 buildings and a character at that price is a steal. As for the chapel by itself, I think 40 donuts is reasonable for a premium building. Plus, I love chocolate and the Land of Chocolate from the show, so I’ll get it if I have the donuts in time (my priority is getting Brandine from the Mystery Date boxes with 4 failed attempts so far). Back to KEM farming!
I ended up getting it. It’d be nice to be able to build a world of chocolate.
I’ve placed mine with the Chocolate Shoppe and the Fortress of Chocolitude. If we ever get the Germans in the game, I’ve got my own Land of Chocolate ready to go.
Germany /could/ be one of the countries we ‘celebrate’ in this event, after we’re done with France.
Sorry, but the game makes it abundantly clear that the only featured countries in this event are France, Japan and Brazil. Though obviously they are sneaking in other foreign-related material like the Hungry Hun and the Italian Villa.
I’d like to put this next to the church of Lard Lad, but I don’t really have the space for it. Unless I move everything once again…
I’ve been debating, don’t have uter as I’m a freemium player and those donuts are hard to come by. Think I may have to pick this up though with that rebate. I don’t know why I still haven’t got ‘grimey’ as that is one of my favorite episodes, maybe he’ll have a rebate someday…
It would be fun to get more chocolate buildings…I could create a “Land of Chocolate”!
If I had already owned Uter, I probably would pass, but the bundle deal was absolutely worth it!
Could create a neat little area with chocolate shoppe, the candy and puppies store, fortress of chocolitude, and some of those lollipop flowers, the cotton candy easter trees, etc.
Love this! It will look awesome with all the other chocolate/candy items in game. Please release more gooey dripping chocolate buildings! It would be cool to have big trees that drip chocolate lol.
Glad I didn’t cave and buy Uter before. 🙂 My new rule is never buy characters unless in the middle of an event, because you never know what is going for rebate. This was a great buy for me, not just because of Uterus but because the chapel fits PERFECTLY in my Land of Chocolate. I just had to move Phineas Q. Butterfats. I hope we don’t have more chocolate items tho because I am tapped out of space!

I took advantage of many many deals too, but this one is really one I feel cheated by EA.
I paid the full price for Uter at 160. The chapel is another 40, would be 200. They should at least have offered a better deal on the chapel for players owning Uter already.

Instant buy. 120 for a character, 2 buildings and the character helps you get additional donuts each week. Easiest decision ever made.
Why Uter could help us to get additional donuts?
I got it think with the bundle. Hard to pass up a rebate, especially with an extra goodie thrown in.

I probably wouldn’t have picked this up if it hadn’t been bundled with utter, but now that I have it, I kind of love it. I really like how it matches Ye Olde Chocolate Shoppe, and now I’m hoping for more buildings from The Land of Chocolate. I’m also hoping that some day we’ll get a task for Homer to ‘eat the lamp posts’ 😉

I got it right away too, that’s what I want to do, set up a chocolate land with all those items and any other ones that may come out eventually.
I appreciate the article, but despite the Addicts vote of No, I think I may still pick this up… It’s only 40D (I bought Uter back when originally released), and I think it will look nice in my Christmas “Candy Land” area.
I have to say I’m disappointed there’s no character interaction… but at least it’s animated all the time, anyway…
