Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
Mayor Quimby, Homer & Lisa will start this for you with dialogue. This will be followed by a 4hr task for Homer.
Act 2 runs until February 24th

New Prize Currency for Act 2.
Japanese Pins
So the ability to earn French Pins is now gone. Your counter prize track for Act 2 has reset to zero because you have zero Japanese Pins. So forget about France, it’s time to start over in Japan!
You’ll earn Japanese Pins very similar to how you earned French Pins in Act 1….
-Flights at the Airport
-Norbert’s Around the World Tasks
-Daily Challenges ( Earning Varies)
-Chateau, if Purchased
-Tapping Tourists in Springfield, still earns 4 each
-Tapping Buildings in Neighbors Towns, still earns 5 each

Norbert’s Tasks
Uncle Norbert is back in Act 2. Same deal as Act 1. Complete the Flights to unlock a price from the Lost Luggage Each day. Options include: Land Tiles, Runway pieces, a Plane & after 7 days you’ll unlock the Black Leather Plane.
If you didn’t finish the Act 1 prizes for Norbert, it’ll require you to catch up before you see the act 2 prizes.

Free Land Token- 16,853
KTV Building- 28,891
750 Sky Credits- 33,706 (note: this is NOT a building. Just extra sky credits added toward your crafting total.

Act 1 Prizes…
If you didn’t collect them all… you can still access them by tapping on the “ACT ONE PRIZES” tab in the Personal Prizes area. As you can no longer collect items for them, your only option now is to pay donuts to outright buy each one left at the point you left off at. (Just like every other event recently.)
Act 2 Crafting
Crafting remains, as it was during Act 1, for Act 2.
You can still earn Sky Credits for crafting by tapping Tourists. You’ll also earn them when you tap buildings in your town that your neighbors have tapped, and from the prize track.
New Items in the Store..
Passport- Price as dropped to 60 Donuts…not worth it…
Mr. Sparkle- 100 Donuts, full character
Himeji Castle-180 Donuts, Earns Event Currency
These items leave (Mr. Sparkle & Himeji) when Act 2 ends..

Hi I have done everything but still no leatherplane?? Anyone else that is missing it? Feels sad..😢
Is there a list of which building rewards pins or is it random building when you visit neighbors? Only asking because i have a lot of buildings whick i keep in storage. I dont want my neighbors not having a chance to tap/losing out on oppurtunities for pins
I was able to send maybe 8-10 characters at a time at the airport in act 1. I’ve only been able to send 3 in act 2 and they are the same exact characters. I’ve completed act 2’s story as well. Did they change this? How do I send more like in act 1?
NYM71- It’s still possible. 1) Make sure you have 5 people free. 2) Send one of the 2 remaining passengers on a job 3) Return to the airport & you should see the 5 new ones generated. If you have Matt G try to make him one of the 5 free people. You can then test it works with him using his 6s job. If not the cops have 5 min jobs. That way you can always have 5 free & task everyone else in longer jobs. They are also all non premium. Matt G, x2 cops, Mrs Krab (10 mins) & Cletus, Hibbert or many others with shorter jobs. You can force the airport to choose from amongst those. Good luck…..💜X
I finished everything that needs to be finished but he never got the leather plan why is that?
Does anyone think the free land tokens will stay after the event finishes, or do we need to use them before the end?

Can someone write a small explanation what does Mr. Sparkle give me and is he worth the 100 dounts?
Mr. Sparkle earns you SkyCredits during this event, so he’s useful if you want to buy a lot of stuff in the Reward Center. I got him and just started his questline, and unfortunately those events earn regular $, so I’ll get back to his questline after the Around The World event is over. He has some funny tasks, and in the 26 years that I’ve been watching The Simpsons, Mr. Sparkle may be my all-time favorite character. So he was a must-buy for me, although I do think for a lot of people 100 donuts might seem a little expensive. Hope that helps!
So I completed all of Norbert’s Act 1 prizes, got the globe. Earlier today (so Sunday’s suitcase) I was awarded another hangar! I’m not sure I saw any new prizes either😞……💜X
My suitcase yesterday gave me another straight runway piece 😃😃 happy happy joy joy!!!
JOSEPHINE- Nice one! Having completed neighbour visits for today, I see everything doubles up. Lots have a second terminal, a few a plane & second hangars like me. One neighbour already has the leather plane!…..💜X

Tourists with Osaka Flu no longer give out extra pins & sky credits. I have unlocked the 5th virus… Is that normal or a glitch?
I’m seeing snack vending machines in mass in many neighbors’ SF’s. Are these old decorations I’m just noticing for the first time or are they new & I’m just not seeing them in my SF?
Ah. I found my own answer.
Can someone help me please? Yesterday I couldn’t finish Norbert’s task, because the place I was supposed to visit (Hollywood) just wasn’t there… It appeared after I completed some flights, so I clicked it and after 4 hours, I got Terminal! The stuff from act 1 which I already have. Plus my tickets are not loading sometimes. The timer is stuck on 0 seconds and 0 tickets.
The same thing happened to me yesterday with the ‘Hollywood’ task. Everyone was free at the time, but no one at the airport had Hollywood as a flight/trip/task.
Now I’m getting the same thing with today’s ‘Madrid, Spain’ task (“Visit a Real Ciudad From Southern Europe”). Again, everyone is free.
My only available characters at Springfield Airport are:

♦ Smithers (Babylon, Iraq)
♦ Legs (Stockholm, Sweden)
♦ Matt Groening (Hollywood, USA)
♦ Cleatus (Alexandria, Egypt)

Who? I’ve sent everyone who was available at the Springfield Airport, and I have no one doing any other job. Even held off on the questline (Homer+Quimby), just in case it was one of them.
when the timer gets stuck i exit then reenter tapped out and it works resets to 20 mins but works 🙂

How do i go about “spreading” the Osaka viruss to other towns?
To help your neighbours increase their Osaka Flu level, visit them. Every neighbour tap increases the flu severity by one. If possible, visit neighbours even after your benefits stop. Every neighbour tap benefits your neighbours even though only the first 89 benefit you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Becca! I know visiting all of your neighbors (especially if you’re maxed out), is time consuming, but IMO it’s not helping all of your neighbors by starting the cycle at Other Springfield , then stopping when you’re no longer earning event currency. More times than not, I’m not able to visit every neighbor every single 24 hr cycle. I used to feel guilty for taking one of their neighbor slots, but not helping them. I tried the starting at the beginning then the next day, starting at Z, but then I wasn’t getting to the middle enough (sorry neighboreeno’s K-O 😔). I finally came up with a solution I feel better about 😊😊, every time I log in to my game, I visit at least 2 of my neighbors minimum. When I go back to visiting I pick up with the next neighbor in line, that way no one gets missed 😀😀. Granted it’s unlikely I am visiting everyone in a 24 hr period, but at least everyone gets their turn, (& I feel better). I notice, but don’t care, that I’m not still getting the “bonus” if I have the time to continue. I don’t judge any of my neighbors if they don’t visit. I have much more free time than most players judging by comments made here (I think Alissa has figured out how to clone herself😂😂😂… either that or she’s an alien😳😳😝😝😝😘😘). This system works for me, I hope anyone who is looking for a solution to visiting might be able to use it also 😊😊😊😊
Visiting other towns. When they visit you, you’ll see the pin avatar above your buildings and for each one you clear, it increases the severity of the outbreak in your town.
