Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
Mayor Quimby and Miss Springfield will start this for you with dialogue. This will be followed by a 4hr task for Homer and Mayor Quimby.
Act 3 runs until March 7th
Just what does Act 3 have in store for us? Let’s take a look… 
New Prize Currency for Act 3.
Brazilian Pins
So the ability to earn Japanese Pins is now gone. Your counter prize track for Act 3 has reset to zero because you have zero Brazilian Pins. So forget about Japan, it’s time to start over in Brazil!
You’ll earn Brazilian Pins very similar to how you earned Japanese Pins in Act 2….
-Flights at the Airport
-Norbert’s Around the World Tasks
-Daily Challenges ( Earning Varies)
-Chateau and/or Himeji Castle , if Purchased
-Tapping Tourists in Springfield, still earns 4 each
-Tapping Buildings in Neighbors Towns, still earns 5 each
-Tapping tourists with the Osaka Flu

They will still earn 4 per tap.
Norbert’s Tasks
Uncle Norbert is back in Act 3. Same deal as Act 2. Complete the Flights to unlock a price from the Lost Luggage Each day. Options include: Land Tiles, Runway pieces, a Plane & after 7 days you’ll unlock Norbert’s Plane.
If you didn’t finish the Act 2 prizes for Norbert, it’ll require you to catch up before you see the act 3 prizes.

750 Crafting Currency- 15,449 (note: this is NOT a building. Just extra sky credits added toward your crafting total.

Act 2 Prizes…
If you didn’t collect them all… you can still access them by tapping on the “ACT TWO PRIZES” tab in the Personal Prizes area. As you can no longer collect items for them, your only option now is to pay donuts to outright buy each one left at the point you left off at. (Just like every other event recently.)
Since some of you have already asked, if you have a character available to purchase for under 100 donuts (especially character/building combo like the Sumo Stadium and Sakatumi) grab it. Between 100-125 donuts think about it and decide based on what you might be saving for. Over 125 donuts pass.
Act 2 Crafting
Crafting remains, as it was during Acts 1 and 2, for Act 3.
You can still earn Sky Credits for crafting by tapping Tourists. You’ll also earn them when you tap buildings in your town that your neighbors have tapped, and from the prize track.

I’ve still got a task from Act 2 to collect 7500 pins for bonuts. Act 3 has started normally so it’s not a major thing but it’s really annoying! Does anyone else have this?
I had this last act, going to Krustyland or Other Springfield removes should remove that task. What I actually did was hard closing my application and starting it again.
Finish the task and it will go away.

He is Renaldo, the orphan who comes with the Orphanage.
One of his jobs is to wear his Rio Carnival flamingo costume as he cruises around town. 😁🇧🇷🏝🤹♂️💃🎉😁
The flamingo is an eight hour costumed task for Ronaldo. He is premium at 150 donuts together with the Filthy Angels Orphanage.

Wow, after 2 acts of great prizes, I think this 3rd is a dud. I will probably do the bare minimum.
Like the look of all the tourists from all acts, hope ea do a bundle and they don’t cost to much, currency not donuts would be ideal
Double Sky Credits as a “prize” after crafting everything I want is a real bummer. Where’s my land tile, EA?!? Haha
There is nevery enough pink and red leaves trees, so I am spending redundant sky credits for these. Maybe will grab dozen of lavander fields.
The land tiles will be in The Lost Luggage.
The Sky Credits will once again come in handy after you unlock the painted house 😉
Loving it! It hits us the same day Carnaval starts here in Rio! The tourists are fab!
I really like the painted homes. It’s a suprise to me that there are three of them, I thought the prize was just one 🙂
There is just one on the main prize track but once you obtain this there are 3 different houses available to buy with sky credits.
The tourists new look makes me want to buy them if they are available at the end of the event.

Kinda disappointed with the Act 3 prizes, was hoping for something more ‘Braziliany’ as a reward!
Act 1 had the Eiffel Tower, and Act 2 had Mount Fuji, both of these are major symbols of their respective countries. I was hoping for a big Cristo Redentor statue or Pão de Açúcar with tram! 😔
I like the favela houses and of course, Tiago. But two of the prizes being Sky Credits seem kinda lazy to me. Well, at least I can use them to craft more taxis and lavender fields. And to be honest, I’m not sure I want muck around with the airport any further, as it’s taking up a lot of land. An extra plane or hangar is fine, but I don’t need more runway tiles or terminals.
To be fair though, this event has been really generous in giving out characters, so lots of props to EA. Don’t know if the monkeys are NPCS or full characters, but even counting them out, five new characters for an event is a lot. Throwing in the Valentine’s deals for Becky, Laura, Shauna and Uter, the last two weeks resulted in the biggest increase in my Springfield population.

Does anybody know what happened to Japan Tourists? Still I got French ones beside Brasilians but Japans dissapeared…
There has always been 6 different tourists… 3 generic ones for the whole event + 3 country-specific ones (the French tourists were replaced by Japanese tourists and now replaced by Brazilian tourists).
Not replaced – added to. I have all three types of tourists wandering around my town now.
Really? Consider yourself lucky then because mine have def been switching out. I have not seen the French guy that eats the baguette (or other two) since Act 1 ended. And haven’t seen the Japanese geisha (or other two) all day. But I still am getting the 3 generic ones, in addition to the 3 new Brazilian ones.
BADBRAD- Mine’s the same as yours btw. As soon as Act 2 hit, my French ones disappeared, likewise with Act 3 my Asian tourists vanished. I wish they’d all remained….💜X
Yeah – I spoke too soon…I think I just had some left over in my “bank.” I just have the Brazilian ones and the generic ones now.
I was so close to getting the sumo standium when the new act went live I was so cross with myself for not making more of an effort last night. Luckily I was able to buy it for only 5 donuts, but that’s not the point!
Any idea when and how the new Brazilian Festival lady character will be released? No sign of her in store or as a prize but is there in the new characters section with the others!
Regarding Act 3? I’m getting a free Brazilian (lol) 😀
Regarding all Acts? I’m grateful for all new Characters / Buildings (with permanent character tasks that earn XP & $) earned and/or crafted 👍
Regarding Premiums? I skipped on ’em during this Event (I’m sure they will be back at discount) 😛
Now if EA would just ixnay on the NPC’s please & bring something new to Krustyland

Wooohooo! Was 3 donuts shy from getting mr sparkle. Jus got in a last round of bonuts before the switch to act 3! Was tappin late into the nite. But so worth it!! Def an iconic character that I wanted in my Springfield. Now I gotta replenish my donuts. Back to zero. At least we have lots of ways to earn them. Happy fun clean time
Seems like an anticlimax to the event, I’ve collected all the crafting prizes, the personal prizes look uninspiring and the daily task prizes better not include a curved runway section. Although I’m looking forward to two more planes! That will make 8 plane, Of different sizes. And have you noticed how big Le bicycle is next to the terminal.
The Brazilian tourists are sooo cool. EA if you are reading this, please make the tourists available for purchase at the end of this event! I really would love to have them wandering around my SF forever. For me, this event is up there with The Stonecutters & casino event. So much fun! Obrigada EA! 💃🏽……💜X
I really wanted Pepi, Homer’s adopted little brother. I’ll pass on Ronaldo although he is cute. Not enthus about this round of prizes. And still more crafting currency, could have done with some extra prizes instead. This round is Meh! Or should I say do’h!
This was the act I was looking forward to most! 😀 Considering buying Ronaldo, his Tuci task looks awesome in my neighbours town 😉 Rio Days Inn Ero is a rip off IMO, same price as Mr Sparkle, and they both earn Skycredits, hmm.. Shame we have to wait for the Carnivalfloat/Xoxchitla hope they come soon! 😔 The questline seems to be really long and endless, 4 hours for every task?! Has anyone stopped earning pins from when neighbours visit you? I’m only getting Skycredits. Thanks!
I’ve already ‘crafted’ every item and none of them are that great that I would be excited to have loads of them so it is a bit disappointing that 2 of the main prizes are sky credits!
I’m sorry if this has been asked before, but are we going to keep Norbert at the end of the event as a bonus?
Loved the second act, this is fun but not as fun as the first 2 acts, already crafted everything earlier so now just waiting to craft seconds, thirds fourths ect of all fun items, which I don’t mind doing at all. Finally crafting without the pressure. I crafted 3 pagodas and 2 shinto shrines and I might just craft another, I love it!
Oh… that’s Ronaldo. I thought it was Pepsi (uh… Pepi) from season 4’s Bigger Brothers episode originally.
The character grouping that includes Ronaldo and Tiago also has a carnival woman. Any idea when she will be available?

Since I didn’t finish creating everything last event, I was pleasantly surprised to find my self crafting the last building two days ago. I’m going to save my currency now and craft a lot of decorations at the end.
