Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Pack those bags and grab your boarding passes because it’s time to go Around the World with The Simpsons! The Around the World Event is in full swing in our pocket-sized Springfields and that can only mean one thing….all new prize tracks to work our way through!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Brazilian Pins (
) to unlock each prize!
The sixth Act 3 Prize awarded at 40,829 is the Samba School, because every Act needs a musical number finale….

Once you’ve collected 40.829 you’ll automatically be awarded the Samba School and Tiago and you’ll see this message popup:

Hi guys, last night I finished the tasks to get the red plane but haven’t received it. It’s not in my inventory or anything. As I received it the server crashed does anyone know how to get it back or have had this happen to them?

Another playable character! Rad!!! This game has really exceeded my expectations. I am at 28,524 pins and feel confident I will unlock him in time. I missed C’esar and Ugolin (French wine makers/slave drivers) pretty narrowly because I am a rookie and didn’t quite understand the timed events well and the fact I should probably at very least try to check in every four hours I can manage to and collect the pins. That burned a little and I learned my lesson and began to read up on the game and how it works and became more familiar with the layout, which has helped immensely. On a side note, I know Prince was in the Halloween episode where Homer killed him with a guitar, but I always thought this could be his long lost brother or something.
Just got the tram, but according to the calendar that means I’m still on track to get this. At least in my main town, my secondary town is probably too far behind. I haven’t been able to tap as much as usual in the last half of this event.
You seem a bit early with this post. I’m usually at least a couple of prizes ahead of you ?
About 4000 pins short of the school & should get the red plane tonight. It will be sad when this event ends, I’ve really enjoyed it along with you & your teams input.

Loved the event. Kinda bummed that it’s almost over. Although haven’t gotten the gold train, hope it will show up soon. Anyone actually got it yet?
Don’t worry, the train hasn’t arrived yet.
A few of my neighboreeno’s have the train. You get it by doing Norbert’s daily tasks, so after your airport pieces are all gone you should be able to get the train 😊

Best of all, EVERYTHING is back in the store. So save for St. Patrick’s Day even, but spend for this event.

Total brain dead here, sent Tiago on his 24 task yesterday, (have about 1.5hrs left), right before part 4… oh well, at least I learned years ago (under Alissa’s advice), to not use donuts to rush 😁😁😁
If it happens again: put away the building that they are from, his is the Samba School. Like Cletus has his farm, etc. Then bring it back out. Ta-da!

I started working on the quest line this morning thanks to EA’s generous gift due to the outage. I’m now going to relax and enjoy loggin in every four hours instead of every hour.

Last time I didn’t have the sprinkles for the leprechauns and Groundkeeper Seamus, so my hope is the (re)reissuing of them would be very welcome. I have the donuts for them now.

Act 2 i was bout 2000 fans away from Sumo Stadium + Sakatumi and gonna take 140 donuts to get grrrr
Act 3 I’ve got so many crafted items and more pins than i know what to do with I will get Samba school tonight so will have bonuts woot

A lot of things from previous events have come back around, but not everything. Sometimes it takes years, like with Kumiko. And of course you never know in advance how much it will cost if EA decides to offer him again. It is entirely possible they bring him back for more than 140 donuts. Or less. Or maybe just give him away next time round. Not very helpful, I know, but until he actually comes back your guess is as good as mine.
Tiago reminders me of the song “Sambaballen Samba” by André van Duyn, a Dutch comedian/singer. There are videos on YouTube. I am not giving a link, because some people might be offended by the song. My opinion p, he is hilarious 😂
