Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

OK, I have been reading about using bloodmobile and rat trucks to XP farm. My question is does this still work? I looked them both up in game and neither shows they give XP or any bonus.
I turned on my XP collider, and started farming KEM this morning along with the brown houses I currently have. Is there anything else I should be doing?
I also see that people are building KEM and coming back 4 hours later, then collecting and selling them and starting over. I don’t quite understand that.
Anyway, I currently have a 103% bonus on XP. Is this enough or should I start getting that higher?

They don’t give a bonus, they just give XP when placed (like all items).

Whether it’s rat trap trucks, bloodmobiles, or Kwik-E-Marts, farming is all about just buying (and getting the XP for that) and then selling back to recoup some money, so you can afford to do it all over again as much as possible. Farming rat trap trucks or bloodmobiles are a faster way to earn donuts, but it uses up cash fairly quickly. Kwik-E-Marts are better for a slow-but-steady farming, which, if you figure out the right number of them to farm, you can do without depleting your current cash amount (or, if you want to farm more of them to earn more donuts, will assert last deplete your cash more slowly than farming rat trap trucks or bloodmobiles would).

I had it in my head to wait to harvest things AFTER you buy them. Not building, finishing, selling, and starting over. I have gone up around 10 levels in the last couple days! Just got Lisa added to Mount Homermore (or whatever it is called)!
I want to extend to all my friends my deepest apologies for being away last 2 weeks and during the end of an event to boot! I asked chewfred to write and let everyone know I might be away, looks like she didn’t follow through.
I was in hospital for 8 days, I had IPad with me but too sick to play or post here, why I asked her. Hospital kept me pretty sedated. They did surgery on Monday & I got out late Wednesday. This first time I’ve had iPad open. Too sore last night. Hopefully I can go back to visiting neighbors tonight.
If you want or need to drop me, I totally understand, and no hard feelings.
First event in 3 years I didn’t get to complete a event. Guess it proves real life can take an addict away from their game.
I hope everyone is ok out there, especially with all bad weather.
I honestly missed the gang that holds us together, and my neighbors. Guess I talked about my friends in my sleep. Nurse said is there someone we need to call (hubby gets big points he was there most of time had to leave to feed my babies) doggies shhhhh for those that don’t know me. I told nurse no there are more than 90 people. She offered to send out news, told her no I would make up when I can type again.

I usually visit everyday, especially during a event if it helps my neighbors. The nurse came in one night, got 1 warning, put the IPad down and go to sleep, surgery in morn, blah blah blah 15 minutes later with sleeping pill nurse came back & took it! I told her listen I have peps I need to send out on flights & I will turn off. She took it think she knew I was so addicted. Lol
I hate being inside but my bed is in a house. Have lots of reading, movies & tv shows to catch up, oh & sleep.
I’m so grateful, dealing with problem what too long, but an Angel was sent my way Doctor that said “she doesn’t leave without proper diagnosis” is a “visiting doc” from Maine he sees his daughter here so much & she works at hospital so he has privileges here and knows about our sucky medical system so figures he can at least help heal and spend more time with his daughter! How awesome is that? Pain I have now is a walk in the park compared to what I was living with add some drugs, doggies, TSTO, great neighbors (THANK YOU) books, music & TV I got the great part of deal.

Thank you Justin! Neighbors like you, are why I’ve stayed with the game so long. I get asked occasionally where would you stay if visiting FL, I can tell you were not to stay after 8 days in hospital was about to loose what’s left of my mind. First time I’ve been in a hospital, seemed more like a “nice” jail. The best was being woken up for “do you need a sleeping pill”? Closely followed by them drawing blood every morning @3:00am. I’m grateful that I finally found a doctor that wouldn’t let me leave till they had a diagnosis and according to three different doctors just in the nick of time.
Now the good part two weeks of bed rest and he means bed rest 24/7 with short small walks, get to hang with doggies (5 now) & catch up on DVR. I don’t do the bed rest thing too well, but life threatening…. I’ll take the two weeks. Thanks for caring🎈🎈🎈❤️❤️❤️❤️
Best wishes for your recovery, I am a nurse so know some of what the hospital stay can be like. However on the other side of the country. Feel better soon, I know the game can help. Maybe we will have another event soon for distraction.
Thanks Carie. Also thank you for taking care of pep, my first hospital stay, nurses must be part Saint don’t know how you do it. People were so nasty to nurses who are following orders and trying to help. I’m not type of person to ask for help & was grateful for anything they did with always a thank you.

Thank you Carie. Nurses blew me away, I don’t know how you do your job. First hospital stay, didn’t have a clue how hard you work and how some people are out right mean. I was grateful for anything they did for me with a thank you, understand from a couple of nurses patients don’t usually thank them (how rude).

Thanks Hondo! Laughing about left over drugs, remember I live in FL, they must have chart tells them exactly how much according to procedure. They are keeping me quiet enough that I’m not screaming too loud to get out of bed. I’m not sure of attraction some pep have to take meds everyday, I can’t focus or remember anything, but it took so long to get this far, I’ll take them.

Thank you Ellie! Already feeling so much better. I believe recovering so well is my addicts family. I’m truly blessed to have such awesome neighbors/friends.
My hubby is learning all kinds of new things…how to operate washer/dryer, making dog food (2 appliances he has never used). He isn’t having much fun, in fact “this sucks & didn’t realize how much work you do in a day” came out of his mouth. He now gets why I don’t want more dogs. He is also taking great care of me.

Well it was basically just questions about videos and if I would be interested in watching them and addicts live happened to be the first one they asked about. I rated your show great. I got 81 cents for my opinion so it will be turned into a scratcher for donuts.

No I usually get anywhere from 10 cents up to a dollar. It’s always random. If depends on how many questions you answer. The more questions the more money you get.
Oh, that much I knew…it was the fact that it was 81 cents and not, say, 80 cents that surprised me.

Hello all!
So finally done with the event and happy that I got so many characters and it was fun to boot!, started dedicating time into Springfield heights again and finally got to the second goal of 200k..peanuts I know, but it’s something,,,and then it hit me,,,
The monorail!
After seeing the video of the monorail tour on your guys flickers page I decided to look around my own town and decided I had enough land developed, I know clearly how I want to design and also I have enough characters to get on the monorail tasks and heights (requires a little juggling I know) and still have some characters on money getting jobs. So, I have started to put key columns and such to guide me where I want to go etc with it.
There are some amazing talented and creative people here, and my own SF will never be as beautiful or thoughtful, but I do try to have a sense of humor about it like putting DMV next to duffs party truck and such.
I am invigorated again!

And don’t be ridiculous about apologizing! What decent person would think you were slacking while you were in the hospital?
Please relax and spend your energy recuperating and playing as much or as little as you’d life and don’t worry about us, your neighbours. (I feel pretty confident I speak for anyone here who’s a neighbor of yours…if I’m wrong, that person isn’t worthy to be your neighbor!)
Thank you Sandra, I just saw your comment. Brain a lil slow. Thinks drugs are contributing factor which means I get a break from my friend keeping me in line with grammar lol of course.
Now that I’m at home I can play whenever I want, although hubby said that is not rest put it down and go to sleep. Grrrrrrrrrrrr My logic I’m playing from bed so not breaking any orders😉. When doc came in on Sunday morning & had surgery scheduled within an hour when it hit me this could be serious. It was and now I finally heal instead of treating symptoms .Already feel so much better.
Neighbor visits here we come. They are easy, I get to see cool redecorated towns WOW and check in on my lil town, not spending too much time there yet.
I can always count on you for both support and feisty attitude which I love!
I’m stuck in bed so I get to drive everyone crazy, maybe I should order a whistle, but doggies are doing a good job fetching help.
First time I’ve been in a hospital, nurses are so under paid, unappreciated and over worked. I honestly don’t know how they do it. Down here they do 3 12 hour shifts and off for 4 days. They would check on me & ask u know how to use button? Lol

Glad to hear your time in the hospital is paying off! I hope you continue to rat and mend and play TSTO at a nice leisurely pace, engender you’re feeling up to it. Just be sure to play because you want to, not because you feel you have to.

Howdily doodily fellow Addicts! Well, here we are. Last day of the event. For me, this was one of the all time favourites. My only disappointment is that the Osaka flu thing was such a downer. They could have done so much with that – community prizing or something..a real competition to get people visiting neighbours and spreading it. It was just so poorly introduced and executed (the crazy sudden jump at one point, then going over 100% but not really speading much faster – think I’m around 120% now). That aside, the questline was extremely fun (3rd act questline should have gone a bit longer), and the items were AMAZING. The prizes were great and not too repetitive. Loved the free land tokens, and the crafting selection was fantastic. Lots of the items have wonderful animations….just really well done. I have everything I need now, but doing some more flights to hit a bonut round, and doing all my visits to get as many credits as I can. I have already planned out my final crafting that I’ll do later tonight, and I’m abot 20 donuts away from Xoxchitla, which I will have by end of day. I purchased an extensive number of the items this event, and am very happy. I would have liked Himeji Castle, but that’s one I did have to pass on, and yet again, I won’t be able to get Big Digi Ben. I also passed up the Bandit Fort, but that was more based on price – just can’t cough that up for it, as muc as I love it. Overall though, super happy.
On a personal note, my M-F week was pretty crappy. I was incredibly busy at work, and on Tuesday (I think), might have been Wed, we got word from the high school (they also have grades 7-8), that police had been called due to a very serious threat that was reported (think worst case scenarios you usually hear out of the U.S. – no offence neighboreenos 🙁 Of course, they wouldn’t tell us very much, but the rumours were bad enough that about half the school didn’t even attend the rest of the week. I’m still very uncomfortable with not knowing how real this was or was not. It was just horrible, gut wrenching sickness in my stomach all week.
I’m pleased to report though that the weekend got WAY better. My eldest daughter was selected as only one of 7 (might be 9?) out of her 90+ member intermediate band, to participate in the provincial intermediate honour band – she plays flute. And then to top that off, her teacher and the senior band teacher chose her as only one of 3 kids invited to join the school’s senior band at a “massed band” event for Canada’s 150th birthday. They are to be conducted by the music director of the National Arts Center orchestra, Alexander Shelley. This is maybe my most unfocused child, never having found her passion, until she picked up that flute last year. I’m very, very proud. A weekend of hockey resulted in my son’s team clinching first place overall for the regular season in their final game, and my daughter’s team won their final game 5-0 yesterday. We also had a birthday party for my youngest at a local trampoline place, and on Saturday night we joined some friends and went downtown for the Red Bull Crashed Ice finals. If you don’t know what that is, you should really check out some videos – it’s awesome! This was the first really big event for the Canada150 celebrations and it was a fantastic time. The only down side was the bitter cold – we actually set a record for coldest day ever in March in Ottawa. It was about -30C on average with wind, but I heard it got as low as -35C with wind at one point. So, we didn’t make it all the way to the end, especially as the event started 2 hours late, but my FIL picked us up and within 15 mins we were at the in laws place, watching the end on the big screen TV so it was all good. Anyway Addicts – that was a very long update, but you haven’t had one in awhile, LOL. Have a great week all!
Oh, P.S. to those who were wondering (many of you in the same boat probably resolved it the same way), I did finally get Norbert and the place the next day after finishing up all the flights. Because of my crazy weekend, I had to break my own rule and rush two rounds of flights with donuts, but it was probably the best 20 donuts ever spent to make sure I had those prizes and finished the quest for the train.
Also missing Norbert’s plane/train 😔
Me too, Norbert did show up in my town this morning don’t know how or why, but no train yet.

Question: Is there an article posted on TSTOAddicts that lists all of the ways to earn donuts in this game? For instance, I know that we earn donuts…
– In the Where’s Maggie game.
– Daily objectives (sometimes after 5-10 objectives completed too).
– Randomly visiting friends’ towns.
– Leveling up.
Are there any other ways to earn free donuts?
I’m not against spending real money on them (and I have done so several times), but I wonder if there is a way to earn a few more. Someone told me that you can earn them by taking rides on the Monorail. Is that true?
Its completing the monorail tasks for a week rather than rifding it, which earns donuts.
Cash in recyclables to earn 25k blueprints per week.
This earns 5 donuts.
Having Homer and Lisa clean up Springfield.
And it’s rare, but the balloon pop game in Krustyland will give them once in a blue moon.

Bring on St. Pattie’s! I’m currently building up in-game cash(hardly sent anyone on tasks during the event) for a big KEM farming spree. I have to get the wishing well and leprechaun, maybe the Northern Irish Leprechaun too! My Yupprechaun is getting lonely!
