Episode tie-ins are back! EA wasted no time in bringing us some new content, and this time it’s an episode tie-in for this Sunday’s upcoming “22 for 30″ episode of The Simpsons. And of course all new update (no matter how small) means premium content in our stores to spend those sprinkles on!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the 7200 Ounce Squishee to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this giant brain freeze to your Springfield…

Pros
-Low donut price
-Small footprint
-Comes with a small amount of dialogue (no questline)
-Minor animation when tapped…
Cons
-Bonus % isn’t great for donuts spent
-It’s pretty small in height, disappears easily in Springfield
-Animation is weak, just does a little (stay in place) bounce.
Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
This is going to be one of those “if you like it” items. Honestly, it’s pretty small and the bonus % isn’t great, so unless you really love Squishees (or have a strong desire for brain freeze) I’d pass.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you as a premium player, I’m passing. Just remember this is limited time, and will be leaving our stores next week. So be sure to make your final decision before it’s gone from our games for good. (or for now..)

I also expected the ‘7200 Ounce Squishee’ to be a much bigger item but, I really liked and I figured out it was a good match for my (self-made) “Drive-In Theater” as a trash can.

I do wish we have more cars and trucks and a ‘popcorn cart’ as the ‘peanut cart’ and that the ‘coffee kart’ could be also placed anywhere (coffee junkie here, lol)
In fact in my ‘original design’ I’d placed the ‘Whacking Mugs Stalls’ as a ‘soda station’ (kind of, lol) but I thought that now with the vending machine it was not longer needed there.

Great design! Brought back a memory of my mom driving off with the speaker in the window, ripping the pole out of the ground 😂😂😂 At the time my siblings & I thought she’d lost it, but just kept our mouths shut. Years later I asked her why we left in such a hurry. It seems the movie had some inappropriate scenes that she did not want us to see 😂😂😂😂
If it was as big as the Chinese take out box, I might have considered it. It’s a pass from me, dawg.
I tell you I think they missed a great chance here…when I read the Giant Brain Freeze part in the store, I immediately thought maybe they finally gave us a way to switch between snow and green fields. I wish they’d give us a way to control the weather and have a night mode…that would be awesome IMO!!!
If they had that, the total game size would probably be 3GB instead of just 1GB. My guess is that most of that data is the artwork, and having 3 versions of everything would triple it. When they switch to/from winter mode, there’s a big download to go with it; that’s probably mostly the artwork being switched out.

Love his animated tasks and I don’t regret getting him so yes, 110 donuts for a fun character and decoration is worth it IMO 😁.

Thanks, Alissa! I was kind of wanting this, but not really sure about spending the sprinklies. This SIB, along with the comments, has convinced me to stay with my instincts and leave this one alone. If it was larger in size, then it might have more appeal for me.

This happened to me yesterday. I was moving stuff around trying to figure out where the new bonus came from, and I found this thing called “Anti Gutenberg 3000” hiding behind my tap-ball stadium. I was like “what the heck is that?” Turns out it was from an episode tie in 2 years ago. I have no memory of it at all.
That one I remember because of Willie’s task there
