Ten-hut! Rise and shine you maggots tappers! Time to put those tapping figures to work, no time to be a precious snowflake and go crying to mama here. Skinner’s gonna put everyone through the ranks and make soldiers tappers outta you yet!
The military event, long teased in the app store descriptions, as finally hit our towns and the kids of Springfield are about to get schooled at the finest Military Academy virtual money can buy…in Springfield. Yes, Rommelwood Academy is here with all the drills and in your face spitting yelling our pocket-sized Springfields can handle.
Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini event is similar to the previous mini-events (like Homer the Heretic and the Most Dangerous Game before it), in that you’ve got to complete various tasks to unlock the prizes.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just how to unlock all the fun Military inspired prizes and figure out what happens when Lisa goes against the Eliminator…
Before we get into the walkthrough there are a couple of things I want to point out…
1) You have to be at Level 20 to see this event in your game. AND you must have Bart unlocked to start the prize track questline.
2) From what I’ve seen coins (
) will NOT carry over.

Make Lisa Conquer the Eliminator- 12hrs, Earns $420, 100xp
Once you’ve finished the prize track and unlocked the Eliminator you’ll earn the ability to send Lisa on a 12hr task there, to Conquer the Eliminator. Each time you send her you’ll earn a prize once the task is complete. (Basic prizes…like Training Dummy, Barbed wire fence etc)
And that’s it! All there is to the main prize track for the Rommelwood Academy mini event!

I know the rommelwood event is done. My students still have the serve detention task as a primary task. Kind of annoying can’t use the task manager to assign them jobs because of it. Any ideas. I have uninstalled and updated twice. Still there
I’m having this exact same issue. No matter how many times I have everyone do the detention related tasks, they don’t clear.

I finished the event tonight and got the fireworks display over there Ramblewood Academy and got told that I had won the prize for leases animation and I didn’t get it. And I don’t have any special task for Lisa that would have her use it. I tried a hard shutdown on my iPad and I didn’t do any good. So what do I need to do to get that whatever it is that she swings around on apparently.?

Yup I’m trying to get everything out. Remember there’s still a week left in the event too.
I hope I can finally get the miniature nuclear warhead now that I have two methods of playing for it with the rocket ship and Lisa completing the Eliminator task. Over a year sending the rocket up twice almost every day and not getting even one has been a little demoralizing.
FWIW, I’ve received one with about that same duration and frequency. 🙁
Anyone else have issues with the “Make Lisa Complete Rifle Training” task?
I can get Lisa to Complete Rifle Training but cannot get the other characters to do their tasks. Any ideas on what I still need to do…
I am going on day three having the same issue as you. The only character that can collect coins is Lisa. The other characters can not. I have tried with Skinner on no task t and on the task with Lisa and still the others can not be but on the coin task. What gives?
If I recall correctly, Skinner has to be free since he’s part of the task. Good luck, I hope this helps 😊

Just wondering whether the G.I. Skinner skin (him in army fatigues holding a machine gun) might make an appearance. Skinner is shown in the event screen in that skin, and it was already created for when he was fighting monsters during the recent monster event. Maybe as a secret bonus prize at the end?

Turns out that Skinner’s quest line task “Go mad with power” has this animation. So maybe not a skin but a new permanent task? Here’s hoping, I’d like to have a badd-ass Skinner…

Just sent Bart and Milhouse on their task at Hanger 18…an alien 👾pops out and runs around the hanger with some plutonium, like an Olympic torch…it’s great animation 😂

Was one of the tanks suposed to be with a character , I have two tanks for sale , one limited an one unlimited , I’m hearing the limited tank was suposed to be a bundle with the real skinner ( Armin Tamzarian) for 100 ish donuts .. any thoughts on this

Couldn’t do it when direct deposit by the game
HELP! My game is not loading. I tap the app icon on my iPad, it starts to load the splash screen, then immediately flips to the blue screen with the message box WANT WANT WANT! Update required. I click the update button, it loads the App Store TSTO icon, I tap open and it starts to load the splash screen but in a nano second bounces back to the Update required screen – an endless loop of impossibility!
I didn’t log out the last time I visited the game but I do have an Origin/EA account. I tried turning off the iPad but that did nothing.
What next?

Don’t update through the game. Go directly to App Store. The same thing happens to me.
Thanks for that tip but I had already tried that and it just looped to the WANT WANT WANT message each time I tried directly from the App Store. It only corrected after I uninstalled the app.
Thanks Zephyronicus!! Perfect advise – I had the same problem; powered off, then on, my iPad (just in case), then updated through the App Store. Did not uninstall/reinstall. No loss of progress and all works perfectly again.
I solved the problem by uninstalling the App from my iPad and re-installing it. There was a big download (1251) but once it finished I was able to login. There was no progress lost on my game. It seems to be fine now.
One other person on another forum is having this problem and they’re also running IOS, fwiw.
I like how EA put % bonus on some decorations from previous events. Really helps with my KEM farming. The Plastic Prison, The Spruce Moose, The Attack Helicopter, and The War Plane. I checked my inventory but didn’t find anything else. The Tourist bundle was a great deal. Will EA throw in the next tease of a Covert Convention? I’m predicting a Stonecutters return. I missed out on that event because that when I started to play the game.
Crazy Plane also now has a nice bonus. Thanks for the list, never would have checked otherwise.
Also notice this: the KEM prices *start* at 14400 money (at least with the 2nd one); it no longer ramps up slowly, hitting 144000 only on the 25th one.
Our KEM farming has taken a hit! At least, if you need to keep it at the same $$ burn rate as before.

BTW, I’ve been writing a computer script to help me see what the yields would be (donuts per day etc), given the xp I get per KEM and how many I build per “harvest” (and how many harvests per day). Let me know if you’d be interested in the script, or if I could put together a report of some kind, or something. 🙂

Has anyone compared:
(Spending the same amount of money, with the xp collider on…with an unchanging bonus % for the week)
– Buying white houses (say 50) and using the daily income to buy and sell Rat Trap Trucks and then getting donuts off the XP(a one time spend for the houses, with daily returns of $400/house)
– Buying Kwik-e-marts for the same dollars (don’t know how many that would be) and turning them over for XP and donuts…(daily buy and sell, not sure how many times a day?…3?)
At the end of a week…which would be farther ahead in donuts and still have the same amount of money?
I do the white houses/truck option, but always wondered about the comparison in yield…

Anyway…was tapping while waiting for the shot to take off, so got a little ahead in the quest line and was able to get the statue this morning. Stored a few things to make room for the Rommelwood complex cuz….mo closer, mo fun….
