The military event, long teased in the app store descriptions, as finally hit our towns and the kids of Springfield are about to get schooled at the finest Military Academy virtual money can buy…in Springfield. Yes, Rommelwood Academy is here with all the drills and in your face spitting yelling our pocket-sized Springfields can handle.
Of course, as with all events, this one has it’s share of premium items and characters. Two such premium character (and skin) purchases come with their own questlines (separate from the main Rommelwood questline), Leopold and the Hellfish Gil Deal (Hellfish Grampa and Hellfish Burns). So let’s take a look at those two questlines, and just what you’ll need to complete them in your Springfield…

The store I buy them at had a $5 instant credit on my order, & I also received an extra 200 fuel points which is equal to .20 cents off my next 35 gallon gas up. Win win win… cha-ching 😊😊😊 Needless to say, no longer on the fence holding Hellfish, overpriced as it is, I jumped off holding on to it 😂😂

Me too man. Luckily I was able to sign back in and and everything went back to normal. It sure felt like a close call and I made an angry noise at the time and scared the baby chicks I am raising. lol
Really? That’s all the Hellfish “story” we get? So disappointing. They owe us a good mini-event! Haha Maybe one based on those fake TV shows the characters were in in one episode.
I find it odd that Leopold has a visual 4h task as part of his questline, then needs Chalmers for his regular 4h job. Why not keep that visual task?

The game keeps logging me out as well. I got back into my game and I had an update on my iPad. After the small update was complete EA put the St.Patrick’s Day items back into the store for 2 more days. Sometimes I enter my password and I get a message that an error has occurred. I don’t know why I keep getting logged out?

I bought it for my A game. A little disappointing, but for me it is only one days KEM farming.
What’s your bonus %? I get maybe 15-17 doughnuts a day from my KEM farming. I’ve got 96.65% bonus. I have the XP collider turned on as well. I can afford 28 KEM per 4hrs without losing money. Am I not doing something right. I read some people get 200 doughnuts a day from their farming.
My % is now (1449.31%,837.10%,590.35%) on 12/9/16 I started with (483.40%,419.20%, 351.90%). That was the day I started keeping records. My A game had a lot of houses, so when the land expansion happen I was able to place them for cash farming. My C game is used to use for testing lesser items offered before I found this site. I had accumulated $135 million in my A game when I found out about KEM farming. It went down to $30 million before the land expansion. I then used the Mystery Prize to generate % at a rate below 10 donuts per 1%. That leaves you a lot of billboards and vans to hide. My other games, when I get below $2 million cash, I only buy KEMs up to $12,000. You have sell all but one of your KEMS to get down to $220 for you first KEM buy. Of course you generate more cash and XP as your % increase, decreasing the overall cost of the next Donut. Also, don’t buy “extra” donuts for $150,000 (Maggie, etc). Use that money to buy KEMs. On my A game, I can get 1-3 donuts per 6 KEMs, then another $50K to $100K for the other one or two. At $14,400 each for 6, that is $86,400 for 1 donut, so it still makes sense for me to buy the extra donut for $50K. My C game it takes 14 KEMs. So I am mostly going slow. If I bought then all at $14,400 it would cost me $201,600 for 1 to 3 donuts.
Wow. That’s a high percentage. You must have bought hundreds of Mystery Boxes. My visible multiplier is 544.1%. I’ve been buying one mystery box per day since October. I’ve spent 1014 donuts and gotten 530 back for a net of 484 spent. My multiplier has gone up 69% from that, so the cost per percent is about one percent for 7 donuts. Lots of vans and billboards, but it’s the best price per donut you can get.
I farm about 50 donuts per day and try to keep my cash at $10M for land, but the last land expansion cost way more than that and took more than a week to earn back.
I have all the beach hideaways, quite a few wailing walls and a bunch of tennis courts from when they were giving percentages.
In the farming post I give the cycle from the Mystery Boxes. Currently in my A game I am trying to have 2000 donut stash, came in very useful the last month. When I get 200 above that I run the cycle. If I get two 30 donuts prizes in a row (30-30-10 vs 30-10-10) I run they cycle again. It also helps when I get 10 donuts instead of Lard Lad (I have way too many of them). So between events, once I have 2200 donuts I can usually run the cycle (for 9% increase) once a day. In my A game I have bought all the land and currently generating about $1-2 million net per day, currently have $204 million.
Amazing earnings! I haven’t reached the 939 level but I keep farming and buying things from time to time. I have 194.75% bonus and I believe I’ll reach the last level by someday in this December.

Last year one easy way to increase % was buying the Beach Hideaway. Buying all 5 and upgrading fully was worth a full 100% bonus. Best deal so far. Check this site for all the ways to increase XP%, some are hidden.
The Beach Hideaway was a new, permanent item, so anyone who doesn’t already have 5 purchased can still purchase them now. 😊 I bought 2 when they came out, unsure if they were limited time or permanent, and I still see the other 3 available for purchase. ☺
However, I don’t know if you have to be at a certain level to access it – maybe whatever the level to unlock Springfield Heights is? (for some reason I’m thinking it was level 25 or 30?)
How many KEMs are you building at a time (and how many times a day)? I cannot get that many doughnuts a day and my percentage is ~200%
In my C game , when I have enough cash, I farm 80 KEMs every 4 hours. At 590.30%, 5X and hidden XP, (plus other harvesting) that generated 24 donuts my last go. (+5 for finishing rail yard, total = 29)
Do you just always buy things that give you a % bonus? I did go ahead and buy another Beach Hideaway, but haven’t maxed out the number to buy (I have 2 that are max upgraded).
@Louie “Do you just always buy things that give you a % bonus? ” No. The purpose of buying % is to increase cash and XP so you earn donuts faster so you can buy the other stuff. On my A and B game I was able to buy ALL the St. Patrick Day Premium items, plus was able to buy the plane, tank and hangar on my A game because I am generating at an increased rate.
