Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
From time to time we’ll get questions about a few things we may have covered wayyyy back when Addicts first started (nearly 4 years ago), which causes us to think maybe we should post about it again. This time apply things to how they work now.
One of those frequently asked questions is about posting images image the Addicts comments. Now we covered the basics of this way back in 2013 on this post and this post, but we never really covered specifically how to get the image (not just the link) to appear directly in the comment section. So let’s break it down for you now…
First….this is super important: Images WILL NOT show up in the comments until we approve the comment from moderation. So you could follow the instructions below and only see a link, no picture, while it awaits moderation. Once it’s out of moderation the image will appear.
So don’t panic if you don’t see it right away, while it says your comment is awaiting moderation. It’ll appear once we’ve cleared you from moderation.
Second, while I’m sure there are a variety of other image programs you may be able to use, I’m just going to breakdown the 3 major ones that we like here. We know they work (I’ve personally tested them) and many of you frequently use them anyway.
The big 3 are Dropbox, Flickr and Imgur.
For each of those 3 you’ll need an account. So determine which one you’d like to use and setup an account, if you don’t already have one.
Third, I’m writing this assuming you have basic knowledge of copying URLs, copying Image URLs and/or sharing links via Dropbox. I’m also assuming you’ve already got your image(s) uploaded to one of the big 3 sites. If you don’t know how to do that check out this post or this post to cover Flickr and Dropbox. Unfortunately, we don’t have one for Imgur, but it’s fairly self explanatory once you’re on the Imgur site.
Now onto the instructions…
Remember appearance may change between desktop version of these sites and mobile versions, but the same basic concept is the same.
We’ll start with Dropbox:
So adding your image to the comments from Dropbox is fairly easy.
1) Pick the desired image you want to share in the comments from your Dropbox.
2) Create a link to that image via the “share” option. And copy link
3) Paste that link you just copied into the TSTO Addicts comment section of the post you want to share it on. Add some comments (if you’d like) and post your comment.
That’s it! Remember, you won’t see the image appear in the comments until we approve the comment from moderation. Until it’s approved you’ll just see the link.
Pro Tip for Dropbox Users: Resize your images before sharing on the site via Dropbox. Dropbox tends to post MASSIVE images while can/will bog down the loading on the post page. If it’s too large we’ll likely delete the comment as well, since it’ll prevent the site from being shown properly.
If you’re on a desktop, try resizing the image before saving to dropbox using paint or another photo application.
If you’re on a mobile device, you can resize the image using a variety of apps. I personally use an app called Photo & Picture Resizer. (Android) Works well for what I need it to do.
Next up Flickr:
1) Pick the desired image that you’ve uploaded to your Flickr account that you want to share with the TSTO Addicts community.
2) Click the share button, arrow pointing right, and copy the URL (NOT embed, just the URL)
3) Paste the URL you just copied into the TSTO Addicts comment section of the post you want to share it on. Add some comments (if you’d like) and post your comment.
That’s it! Remember, you won’t see the image appear in the comments until we approve the comment from moderation. Until it’s approved you’ll just see the link.
Alternatively, you can right click on the image and copy the image URL and past that in the comments instead if you prefer.
And finally Imgur:
1) Pick the desired image that you’ve uploaded to your imgur account that you want to share with the TSTO Addicts community.
2) Copy the URL the image is located on. (web address bar)
3) Paste the URL you just copied into the TSTO Addicts comment section of the post you want to share it on. Add some comments (if you’d like) and post your comment.That’s it! Remember, you won’t see the image appear in the comments until we approve the comment from moderation. Until it’s approved you’ll just see the link.
Alternatively, you can right click on the image and copy the image URL and paste that in the comments instead if you prefer.
And that’s it my friends! Now you’ll be able to share your images directly in the comments, if you aren’t already!
Once again, it’s important to remember you won’t see the image appear in the comments until we approve the comment from moderation. Until it’s approved you’ll just see the link.

Not sure if devs read these, but you all might help me. Been playing for sevl yrs, but had to uninstall a couple yrs ago dud to continuous crashes. Just reinstalled a few weeks ago and now the game’s running crazy slow. Note that the alternate town runs fine. But Springfield is like an old (bad) claymation film. I think it’s due to so many characters (~70) and so many tasks, events, and other stuff going on at the same time. But it all started with the Xmas update…was running fine through the Tday update.
Ideas? Thoughts? Musings?…….
Older devices (or underpowered ones), especially, usually have trouble dealing with the snow….it slows them way down. You should find an improvement in performance once the winter event is over and the snow is gone.
Not sure whether my previous answer went through, but, bottom line, it’s probably the snow that’s slowing your game down. Performance should improve after it’s gone.
Is anyone in a loop where they can not get characters to complete their job from Krusty Burger “Check our latest promotion” it was a daily challenge. And for a week now my characters are not able to move on. I have refreshed the game, updated with the Christmas theme and still the characters are stuck at Krusty Burger… any help would be awesome…

If you click on it. You get the money and xp. Then close your app, and then open it. You can click them again. Rinse and repeat For leveling lup really quick. You just can’t complete any new tasks until to put KB in storage for a second.

If you drag your finger from the right side when you’re in TSTO, you should get a little sidebar that pops out…
Tap the little icon shown at the bottom (the one i circled) and then that’ll take you to another screen…
Just tap screenshot and it’ll take a picture of your screen.
Alternately i believe the power and volume buttons (pushing both at the same time) will take a screenshot as well.

One Imgur tip….when you upload an image to Imgur, you might want to pick “Private,” which will still allow you to share the link/image here, but will not show your image to random Imgur users, who will rate an/or comment on them (often unfavorably).
