The spies are invading Springfield! Yes, the Secret Agent update has hit our games. We’ve got hacking, drones, dossiers & a whole new prize track to work our way through!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the First Act you’re tasked with collecting Cheap Intel (
) to unlock each prize!
The First Act 1 Prize awarded at 6,450 is the E.P.A. Truck, because nothing says Environmental Protection like a massive gas guzzling truck…
So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 6,450 you’ll automatically be awarded the E.P.A Truck and you’ll see this message popup:
It does come with a little bit of dialogue when placed:
Russ Cargill: Stand aside, the E.P.A. has arrived!
Ralph: I ee-pee-yayed in my pants!
Cargill: That’s E.P.A. and it stands for Environmental Protection Agency.
Ralph: That doesn’t change anything. Especially my pants.
That’s it. Just place and move on…

Earns: Nada, just a decoration
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +100
Animation: Animated when tapped, lights flash.

Technically the Free Land Tile is next….awarded at 15,700 , but since that’s not a tangible gift for Springfield (just a free land space) the next prize we’ll cover is…

Sorry if this isnt the place to ask…in the act 1 prizes calendar it says you need 56000+ to get the 200 schematics. In the game its 50850. Can we check into this and update the calendar maybe? Thanks!!

So the drone thing that flies over your town and you can tap on these MIT.. can you control how it flies? If I move it to a different part of my town, does that make a difference how many MIT there are? Or does somewhere give me more of those other guys that drop the schematics instead of cheap intel? Right now it’s on the edge of my town so I feel like it flies over land I dont own yet and I am therefore missing out on a lot. Anyone know if this is just random or….?
Move it more to the center of your Springfield with lots of buildings around it.
No, you can’t control the drone. I actually think it’s possible that having it on the edge may be a good thing, allowing you to concentrate more on a smaller area. I typically get around 36-43 agents and about 5 superagents. If that’s good, then I wouldn’t worry about yours being on the edge. If it’s low, then, yeah, you might want to move it. (Personally, I can’t be bothered to do that… I’m airway doing fine with this event, anyway.)
I have an open area for my drone scan. For some reason the scan attracts them ( like a Venus fly trap) when I log on there are typically about 10 agents running around it.
Do you also tap the crosshairs? My average agents is 35, but I have my Surveillance Post in the middle of a lot of buildings.

Sorry if it’s already been posted and/or answered, but does anyone else have the problem where no Men In Tan spawn when you log back in every ~4 hours?
I only seem to get MIT appear for me once a day. The other ~5 times I log on, I don’t get any.
Anyone encountered this problem and how do I fix it?

Everyone is having the same “problem”. EA controls the number of schematics we get. The number of will rise in Act 2 and even more in Act 3.
So, patience young grasshopper, patience!
There is something I didn’t understand from the calendar post or can’t remember… Should I be clearing the secret agent using the radar thingy or should I clear them first, then do the radar? What net you the most “insert currency”?
If you are simply clearing them every 4 hours, it makes no difference which you do first. If you want to maximize your intel “yield” off them, tho, you will need to clear them more often(say, every 2 hrs). Once they max out, no more will generate. So…if you clear them out, they will continue to generate and you can tap more guys. I think Patric says it best here:

So, I ran into a glitch over the weekend, was wondering if anyone had either. I let all the Brown Suit guys pile up near the HQ then started tapping them in mass. Once I tapped them, they went down their hole then reappeared like they’d never been tapped. I got over 10,000 intel before I got bored and considered it cheating but I probably could have kept going. I’ve tried to replicate it since and can’t figure out how…anyone else run into this yet?
This happened to me a couple of days ago. Eventually it fixed itself, but I got tons of intel and schematics while the bug was happening. Like you, I kind of felt a little guilty about it.
Whenever Such a glitch happend to me, I fully exploit it and do not feel guilty at all. Severs them right, because it s shoddy programming.
I’ve noticed that so far we’ve only been offered 2-3 items with a bonus multiplier, all costing donuts. Nothing yet on any of the prize tracks or craftables has one, and I think just one (so far) earns in-game cash. (The fancy coffee shop from the main prize track.) Nothing to date offers up event currency or schematics. I realize we are only 6 days into the event, but everything seems to be taking forever…Even getting enough event currency to move along the main prize track seems to be taking longer than usual. (Yes, I am logging in every couple of hours, as well as visiting all my neighbors. Can’t say that all of them are returning the favor though.) The MIT hasn’t dropped any schematics in my game since about 7 this morning. I’m honestly not enjoying this event nearly as much as the last few we have seen.
I am way ahead. Less then 100 cheap intelligente from the 200 schematics 😀

Me, too…bought a bunch of manhole covers…they are soooo cool 😎, I want them all over town. Got two ATMs also…one for the Airport and one for the Bank…love this stuff!

Have you maxed out your neighbor actions for the day? You only get 90 actions/day that will award cheap intel
Just a heads up…if you change your daily task today (hit the x in the corner), you can get 30 schematics instead of intel…
Also…Sophie Krustofsky has a new 4 hr and 8 hr task at Krusty Burger 🍔and Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, CBG, and Willie have 8 hr jobs at the Nightmare House🕸( the one with the great flashing lights display).⚡️💥

Well, I changed a task for a donut today, because I wanted intel or schematics, and the game changed it to 3 donuts. Not sure if I am lucky (yeah – more donuts!) or not (boo – still no schematics or intel)
Oh well 🤷♀️…hard to get too upset over 🍩🍩🍩…maybe schematics tomorrow. I’ve been changing mine every day and it seems to offer schematics about as often as donuts. I’m pretty far ahead with intel, so don’t really need it…will keep hitting that X…👍
I am pretty far along with the intel as well, but there is always the chance for bonuts in the end. And usually I don’t refuse daily tasks for donuts, but when you are struggling, one additional donut might not get you as far as 1000 intel, or even 30 schematics. I am rather curious to see how the crafting plays out during the other two acts.
I have found that in events the second choice for me is never event currency. I.E. if I canceled a task for a donut I wouldn’t get a task for intel or blueprints as my second choice
