The spies are invading Springfield! Yes, the Secret Agent update has hit our games. We’ve got hacking, drones, dossiers & a whole new prize track to work our way through!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the First Act you’re tasked with collecting Cheap Intel (
) to unlock each prize!
The Seventh (and final) Act 1 Prize awarded at 78,600 is Agent Bont, because you knew he couldn’t stay retired for long…
So let’s take a closer look at this seventh prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 78,600 you’ll automatically be awarded Agent Bont and the Death Table and you’ll see this message popup:
You’ll be given the option to Place it (the Death Table) immediately in Springfield or Store it in your inventory for later. Remember if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory later to retrieve it.
Once you place the death table you’ll see Agent Bont’s Character Unlock Message Popup:

Yep, unbelievable that i won’t be earning bont. I always earn the last prize and then a few bonuts while waiting for the next act. This event? It’s seemingly impossible.

I think it took me longer to get Bont because I kept using the Surveillance Post before tapping the Men In Black. The MIB were therefore all gone. I made a mistake. The event is decent, but not as good as the last one IMO. And please, let the next event have different mechanics to it.

This first event was just a nightmare. It requires grinding that’s a tad *too* hardcore. I’m simply behind, and probably not going to get Agent Bont. My routine wasn’t all that different from before. 3-4 four hour cycles a day. But this time? I’ve had to set alarms to wake up in the last two days, and it still looks like I’m too far behind. EA could have given us a break and made the event a bit EAsier. From reading the comments, I’ve noticed that I’m not the only one this far behind. An extension would be nice.
It is quite simple. You need more characters. As a very VERY long time player, I got Bont three days ago.
Not all of us go by the name of Richie Rich. My only extras were Duffman and Tatum. 🙁
This is what I’m talking about with respect to hardcore grind. It self feeds. Either you hardcore grind or purchase so as to use those resources to propel you ahead of events, or you do things the freemium way and get shafted because the events are purposefully catered to premium players. So it’s either you pay to get ahead, and continue to amass more characters because you’ve paid, or you don’t pay and continue to get nothing because the events are geared towards making you pay. It’s extortion I tell you! Extortion!

Hard to get ahead in these events without a few extra premium characters…have you tried KEM farming to boost your donut input? I haven’t paid real cash in almost a year, now…I highly recommend giving it a try.

I just can’t get a break on this one, I don’t think I’m gonna get Bont. The Daily Challenges haven’t been kind to me, then the Surveillance Post kept crashing and now there’s no little guys running around. So I’m about a day behind. Not happy Miss Moneypenny ☹️

Should have bont today after my next spin, then going to chill out till act 2, these 4 hour stints killing me
I’m having trouble getting there and really worried I won’t make it to Bont. Which sucks because that episode is my absolute favorite. It doesn’t help that I haven’t seen a MIT all day. Don’t know what’s going on with that or how to fix it.
A Man In Tan should spawn every ten minutes. Possibly try moving your “Headquarters” building to a central area with a kinda open view if it’s not already is all I can think of to suggest. I noticed my MIT’s tend to hang directly around my headquarters almost always. The tapping game is where I noticed the majority of my intel points are coming from, much more than the Headquarters task points I am earning. Tap like crazy on the mini-game as sometimes you really can’t see the soldiers well and there is no tap limit. I’m a bit behind myself and am going to wake up tonight to reach my “every four hours” goal to get Bont. I am at 61,519 right now. Don’t forget to visit neighborinos too for extra intel. You can earn a max of 350 points a day. Good luck!
Also, go to Krustyland and back to reset agents when they aren’t appearing as they should. It just worked for me and like 20 agents appeared immediately after coming back from my Krustyland visit. Also, don’t forget you can buy Bont with donuts if needed and the closer you get with Intel the cheaper he will be to purchase in emergency.
I got Agent Bont yesterday and was so happy to get another voiced character. Add the Gil’s deal of the 3x nerd pack and it’s been a great event so far

Today Cargill from EPA is out as a single character for 80 it’s a little bit pricey for a freemium I think but I would buy it. Probably before decide what to do I will wait the should I buy post. About the bont I will skip that act I will buy him if he come out in the future if he will be available again as premium
He earns at a Super Premium rate (80 intel) and isn’t voiced. He has 2 active tasks. Don’t remember the time frames for them, but I think one is at 4 hours. I’d say he’s an okay character. Waiting for the post myself to see if I made a good choice.

It matters not if it’s the weekend, I was at work throughout most of it. And when not at work traveling to from (bus service is pish here) or sleeping, with a few minutes dedicated to eating.

Do you have to keep the death table out to keep Bont available? This is another one of those indoor items that I’m not sure I want to have outdoors in my town. But I definitely don’t want to lose Bont!
I have soooo many questlines piling up to do after this event, since I’ve bought every character they’ve offered that I didn’t already have. I hope we get a decent break between the end of this event and the beginning of the next one.

Just place it behind a building big enough to hide it. I have lots of decorations and buildings that add xp or income hidden this way.
Yeah, I may have to do that, but it would be tricky, because it’s so large. I also don’t have many buildings left with room behind them…been storing XP-earning items behind buildings like mad, especially since I’ve started upping my multiplier via rounds of mystery boxes. However, I’ve been thinking that maybe I could store some of my training walls, as I assume that I’ve been adding event things to my town that contribute to Righteousness over the last year or more (since I last ensured I had enough of them to never have my righteousness rating dip).
It would be cool if they added a Tardis-like object to the game, in which you could store stuff, but the stuff would still count as in the game, not in storage. Seems doubtful though…

I have several tall things hidden including the metal Christmas tree from several years ago. Those big Springfield Heights buildings are great for this. However, I have a farming area set aside for really large or tall items like the Eiffel Tower and also for duplicates of buildings that I’m not going to bother putting into my town. Even with this much land set aside, I still have tons of unlocked land even though I’ve been playing since 2013 and have bought lots of premium buildings along the way. The only way the farming area idea wouldn’t work is for someone who can’t stand any messiness in their Springfield or who uses up tons of land just for design purposes.
Those are indeed my reasons not to farm! And it feels a bit like cheating. I know, I’m weird 🤔
It isn’t chEAting. EA is hinting on it in the dialogs after level 60 is finished by buy/selling Bloodmobiles. EA can change the rules by upping the XP, as they have done it for a short while (10 million XP instead of 1 million)
