Secret Agents Prize Guide: Act 2, Prize 3 Lava Machine

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The spies are invading Springfield!  Yes, the Secret Agent update has hit our games.  We’ve got hacking, drones, dossiers & a whole new prize track to work our way through!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Personal Intel           () to unlock each prize!

The third Act 2 Prize awarded at 25,850 is the Lava Machine, because Hanks needs something to erupt from the bowels of the earth …

So let’s take a closer look at this third prize and just what happens when you
unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 25,850 you’ll automatically be awarded the Lava Machine and you’ll see this message popup:

It does come with a little bit of dialogue when placed:

Hank: I love this lava machine!  It’s quick, convenient, and I can get whatever type of lava i want at the touch of a button!  …I guarantee, my instant lava stands up to lava brewed up from the bowels of the earth.

That’s it.  Just place and move on…

And here are the quick details:

Size: 12×12
Earns:Nada
Conform-O-Meter:
Vanity +100
Animation: Lava erupts when tapped

And there you have it, the details behind the Lava Machine the second Act 2 prize!

  1. Kind of cool, but way too huge and doesn’t fit with my vision for my Cypress Creek or anywhere else. Already in storage. (And I don’t store anything!!)

  2. Lava Machine – this was fun for about five minutes …. then I wanted to put it in storage because it takes up too much space (Vanity is an easy Level to keep up!) A bummer you can’t place it in the Ocean. 🤔

  3. This prize is disappointing but I have put it behind my airport

  4. sorry for posting this here..there is not going to be a easter update or anything?? i know that that is not a holiday for a lot of people ofc but I saw that there is a lot of decorations for christmas xd

  5. It seems like this event more than most gives huge advantages to premium (or fake-premium, like me, KEM-farmers) players. From the subreddit for this game, a lot of folks have been struggling to keep up with the currency counts, but I have all the premium characters and I’m easily bringing in 12K intel a day.

Donuts have always given an advantage in events but I feel like it’s more blatant in this one than usual. Not that I mind, being on the “right” side of this one.

  6. Left it in town as a kind of show-off to my neighbors but unlike the laundry and the coffee shop it goes straight into storage then (like Fuji).

  7. Just got mine today. Good timing!

  8. Josephine Kick@$$

This will likely end up in storage. No bonus%, no $, too big.

  9. Nothing too fancy about the lava machine. I currently have it out on my map, however, I am thinking about storing it away for good measure.

  10. Looks like I might be the only one who likes it. Not sure what to do with it yet but it looks inspirational

  11. Where is Easter!!

  12. Foolishly, I thought it’d be a small little fountain I could pair with the Screamapillar thingie. Why must these decorations be so huge???

  13. Okay, you can put the Lava Machine on the boardwalk if you have a big enough space for it (3×3 boardwalk tiles). To sea it goes!

  14. Big, ugly, and unnecessary (I already have My. Fuji, and how many volcanoes dies one Springfield really need?) I’ve stored it, but can someone confirm for me that there’s no benefit to having it out, other than aesthetics and Vanity (conform-o-meter benefits are useless to me at this point)?

    • No XP bonus, no rent…mine will also be stored after the event. Hard to fit in unless you have a big, permanent “evil lair/ si-fi” area in your town. A couple of my neighbors have great ones, but my town doesn’t🤷‍♀️…so into storage it goes.

    • winning friends with salad

I think it’s funny that it’s bigger than Mt. Fuji.
The lava does look better, just like Hank said.

  15. If it weren’t so humongous I might of used it in my town, I have it sitting out for now to enjoy for a bit but I’ll be storing.

  16. One word meh

  17. I got it 8 hours ago this morning. Need more land to integrate it – so I placed it outside all alone – but I love it 🙂 can’t wait for the underground HQ maybe tomorrow, you never know – ugh, what a busy tappin easter holiday 🙂 cheers

    • Well, I just got the Underground HQ and there’s a funny bug.

For the actual task-generating HQ, there’s a brief animation where the HQ goes from its hidden state to …. fully extended. 🙂

If you have already crafted the 2nd HQ, the skin behaves differently. It remains… retracted. 🙂

  18. Meh. It’s… something I guess.

  19. Is anyone else experiencing problems with the latest update? Mobile network and wifi just keeps on showing the game is loading.

    • That could be a space issue. Make room on your device at least 2 gigs. Reboot your device. If that didn’t fix it you probably have a corrupt file. If you have an origin account make sure you know your info and password, then uninstall/reinstall.

  20. Unlocked and back into storage it went.
