Secret Agents Prize Guide: Act 2, Prize 4 Underground HQ

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The spies are invading Springfield!  Yes, the Secret Agent update has hit our games.  We’ve got hacking, drones, dossiers & a whole new prize track to work our way through!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act.  Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Second Act you’re tasked with collecting Personal Intel           () to unlock each prize!

The fourth Act 2 Prize awarded at 39,700 is the Underground HQ, because the HQ cannot have enough facades …

So let’s take a closer look at this fourth prize and just what happens when you
unlock it in your Springfield…

Once you’ve collected 39,700 you’ll automatically be awarded the Underground Headquarters and you’ll see this message popup:

That’s right my friends, this is a SKIN (Facade) for the Agency Headquarters. Yes, another one. This is NOT another building.  Simply a skin for an existing building (similar to how costumes are for existing characters).

The Underground HQ still does everything the Agency HQ does, it’s just another look for it.  The Conform-O-Meter is not impacted when the Underground HQ is applied…it remains Obedience +10 for the agency.

And there you have it, the details behind the Underground HQ…the fourth Secret Agent Act 2 prize!

What’s Next?

Technically 600 Schematics is next….awarded at 48,000, but since that’s not a tangible prize for Springfield (just 600 additional Schematics for Crafting) the next prize we’ll cover is…

You Only Own Twice Pawn Shop- Awarded at 60,000  This will be the next prize we break down in the prize guide post.

So that my friends is the full breakdown of the fourth Act 2 prize!

What are your thoughts on the Underground HQ? Have you unlocked it yet? Close to unlocking it? Will you be using this facade on your Agency HQ?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. 🙂 not to ruin it at all… BUT……… Doesn’t the underground HQ feels like is a certain private part getting hard when in used and goes back in when not in use??? “once seen, it can’t be unseen” 🙂

Hi! I got the skin for the agency and now I cant send my characters to collect intel! What should I do?

  3. EA is grasping at straws lately! As much I love skins and I do like this one BUT those NPC’s I am not sure about! Yes the snow monster eventually changed to a full task but my argument is the stuff we get on main prize tracks should not be NPC’s! I believe NPC’s should be in either the crafting section or maybe EA could restart the gift point section that hasn’t been touched in ages!

  4. The underground skin is really cool, but I’ve pretty much built my entire area around the forest theme so I don’t think I’ll be using it unfortunately, cause I really want to but I tried it and it just doesn’t look as good.

  5. With this skin I will probably end up leaving the building in my Springfield instead of it going into storage after the event 😀

  6. I love ALL the skins… I really wish these were different buildings instead of just skins, because I’d have a different place for each one in my Springfield.

Anybody else feels that way, or is it just me?

    • My thoughts exactly. I do like all the skins, but to me they are a, do all the work to get every single prize, and you have to unlock this to get the rest BUT if you use this, you can’t see the other thing you had to work for in order to get the rest of the prizes from the last act. So at least one of the skins gets used, while the others end up being a non prize that you had to work for to get or you missed out on everything else.

    • You will be able to craft an extra HQ for 1020 crafting currency once you’ve reached crafting level 12. I don’t know if you can craft more than one. But if you want the castle skin as well for 1800 doing both is going to be difficult. I just unlocked crafting level 10, and just to get to level 12 will probably cost around 3000. I’ll probably have to choose between getting all the skins and displaying only one at a time or get an extra HQ to show off an extra skin but forego the castle skin.

  7. I unlocked the final Act 2 prize yesterday evening. I just won my first round of bonuts as well, still with a week to go! I am going to cut down to playing 3-4 times a day (down from a guaranteed 5), and “enjoy” getting loads of bonuts.

  8. I might end up sticking with this skin just because it makes the HW a bit shorter. Too many tall buildings block other stuff in the game.

  9. I like that this skin has an “empty” and an “in use” animation. No more forgetting to send everyone back to collect intel 😉
Btw, the second act was so much easier than the first! I finished yesterday in my A game, and well on my way to the Pawn Shop in my B games. Haven’t changed my MO, still play about the same amount as during act 1. Can’t all be due to the additional free day for Easter.

  10. This event is how much longer??? Lol

    • 3 more weeks. I agree…this one is dragging.

      • Aren’t they all like this lately? Just 1 more for me, vacation plans will make act 3 impossible.

        • Yea. EA has to do something. Events are getting monotonous now. They either need to make them shorter with less prizes or really mix things up. Because every event has the same format and it’s just auto pilot. Really causing people to get bored….

          • Well said! Admittedly, after so many years, they’re starting to exhaust good characters and prizes, so I would love to see different formats to shake things up. In particular, I would love to never see crafting ever again.

            • Amen. I didn’t mind crafting so much before but it’s gotten played out. Especially this event. The amount to level up is ridiculous. I finally unlocked the drill and now I have to keep grinding just to get the drill. I don’t even want to know how many it’s going to take to unlock the stupid walls. At least I really like the flowers so I should have plenty to really work with come the end of the event.

          • As well there really isn’t all that much to do in this event. Send people to collect intel, Drone fighting, and going to neigbours. That’s it. The only mix up is when you get a new character with a quest line.
So one goes in.. collects and re-sends to collect play the drone fight and all is done.
Good thing there still is the monorails to manufacture. with donuts to get.
But, yes, it’s seem that there isn’t much imagination going into the game and they are stuck on one formula

          • They should learn that less is more. I do like the events, but as I’ve said before (maybe not on this forum, but with other games at least), if a game is constantly in “event” mode, is it really an event? After a while it doesn’t become something special, just, oh I have to log in every four hours or I’ll miss out on something I might want on the prize track, and out of the prize track you may only want 1-2 things, but have to unlock EVERYTHING or you won’t get the one thing you do want….

        • Last Xmas “winter” event wasn’t like this. I really enjoyed the casual gameplay during that event, when you could take several “days off” and still easily complete the prize track as a freemium.

Honestly, if I hadn’t started KEM farming and enjoying lots of premium items for the first time since I started playing years ago, I would burn out from these repetitive, long events. (This already happened to me several times during my freemium period, when I completely stopped playing during long events before finishing the prize track)

On the bright side – it is not as bad as in “Quahog” yet, when I had to set my alarm during the nights to keep the 4 hours cycles going uninterrupted during a certain Star Trek event. That game is dropped for good.

          • Star Trek lost me too….

          • I remember that Star Trek event. I believe that’s about where I dropped too. I remember spending a mutinous amount of hours on the first event (with King Butt) and about the same amount on Star Trek and couldn’t complete the events. I gave it up LONNG ago, and now I’m scared to death of the Futurama game coming since it’s made by the same company…

  11. you are a little late … wayne ahead –8k 😉 also heading for the new dossier since a couple of hours.

    • Yup I’m aware…trying to have a life on the weekends prevents me from getting stuff like this up sooner (and people asking for Should I Buys doesn’t help either) 😉

But it’s important to still post it, not only for players who aren’t there yet, but for the future if EA brings it back. We’ll have a reference for people to go back and look the info up on.

I can’t believe you have to ask the question. Isn’t the answer obvious? Look at the cost, look at the benefits you will receive and compare against previous purchases. Then you will be able to make an informed decision that is correct for your own personal experience.

Feel free to use the above when you are short on time and need to provide an “answer”.
Me, I always have an answer – may not be useful or accurate, but I’ve got an answer.

  12. Josephine Kick@$$

I have been using it since I unlocked it a few days ago, but after visiting tonight, I’ll probably change back to the previous one, I think it was much nicer looking 😊

    • Me, too…I’ve already decided not to go for the extra hqtr building and castle skin, I like the forest look and will leave it like it is….there will be lots more bus stops and manholes in my town😁👍. Maybe I’ll open a black market baby buggy dealership…🙀😂😂. Now that would be a Gil’sDeal for sure!

  13. I really like the skins. It makes the building so much more versatile.

  14. Hate it, so have reverted to the forest skin as it looks prettier where i have my hq situated.

    Xx

    • Yeah, I didn’t like it either. I reverted back to the forest skin where I currently have the headquarters centered inside of a….forest 😉
