Just a reminder that Act 2 of the Secret Agent Event Ends TOMORROW April 15th 25th at 0700 GMT (3am ET). (sorry when i was writing this last night I hit the 1 instead of the 2 for the date and didn’t catch it. I like to think y’all are smart enough to have figured it out though, since the 15 was a Saturday over a week ago…. 😉 )
Once Act 2 is over you will no longer be able to earn Act 2 Prizes for free. So get everything you can before it’s all gone! (but remember keep earning intel if you haven’t unlocked all of the prizes because the closer you get to unlocking the next prize the lower the donut cost would be should you need to purchase it when Act 3 starts…)
Crafting will STILL be available in Act 3. As will the Schematics you’ve accumulated.
For a rundown on everything that was included with Act 2 check out our rundown post here. And remember to pay attention to the timers in your game to see when premium items may leave the store.
Be ready for Act 3 to start bright and early at 0700 GMT (3am ET) tomorrow morning (April 25th)….

Finished Act 2 on my A game with 6 and a half days to go. Also finished my B, C and D games easily 2 days ago.
Well setup to start off strong for Act 3 in the morning.
I have to say I’ve been making out like a bandit on this event. It seemed like during act 1, I was making bonuts like crazy. so act 2 I kept track. I finished unlocking the last prize with 6 1/2 days left for the act. I had 519 donuts. This evening I’ll get my 13th set of bonuts. Overall with level ups daily/weekly tasks, friend visits, sideshow you and bonuts, I’ll start act 3 with 588 donuts. 69 donut haul in a week is a great deal! And all I did was make sure I logged on every 4 hours when I was awake.

Is there a SIB for the Shaboom Kaboom cafe? It leaves in 4 days and I am on the fence.

Interesting- neither Lurleen nor Film Set McBain is available in the store at the moment, suggesting that they may return as a Last Chance at the close of the Event.
Haven’t checked on other items as these are the only two Permanent Items that I’m currently interested in.
With Act 3 starting tonight will there be enough days to craft all the items?? I’m a pretty dedicated player, log in multiple times a day. Not sure I’ll be able to get the last items ( haven’t unlocked them yet ). What’s everyone’s take on this?
It’s a slog to be sure, but I think most dedicated players will be able to craft all items.
I’m having the same thought. I’ve JUST levelled up to 11 (unlocked) the Parachute Target but yet to craft it. Don’t know whether I’ll make it? Others seem to have crafted it already. Slightly concerned, plus I’m going on holiday 😊 which will limit gameplay time.
Lots of time left for crafting…keep in mind that the “purse strings” loosen a lot in Act 3 concerning intel and schematics, which means you will be earning faster…and you know one of the Act 3 prizes will probably be somewhere around 1000 schematics.
Personally, I wouldn’t work very hard to get the last two items.
Hi, I’m a little confused on the dossiers? There is 13 and some odd hours left, but I still have a couple to complete, does this reset or do I miss out on the prize. Can anyone clarify this for me? (I’m probably thinking too much into it lol)
Going by what happened previously, there are two days left of the current dossier thingy to get to the prize, then there will be a day or so break, then another nine days of different dossiers to do for the final prize thingy. I don’t think you’ll miss out on the prize as it doesn’t seem linked to the third act starting.
Correct & that is why you can keep some of the dossiers for Act 3 to get a head start on the next prize track.
You don’t miss out. I’ve got four in the bank at the moment. Each one, I completed all but one job. That way, come tomorrow, I’ll just send the four characters out to finish them and get 4000 event currency (5000 if you count tomorrow’s).
You don’t lose anything, even if the final set of dossier tasks started up. You just need to catch up to get the prize. If that makes sense.
So unless you haven’t completed this act’s prize track, you can hang onto them without fear of a reset or losing anything.
I forgot to save two daily task collectings for the nest round. Act two was simple enough as I got four rounds of bonuts from it. Also don`t forget to reset your neighbor visits clock to a better time to suit your schedule.
I never really expect people to visit on the last day of an Act…I know I want to get an early start tomorrow…

Smithers has a one hour task there. There is an animation as he goes in (bomb extended from building) and when he leaves (bomb dropped).

Saving them for Act 3 is a sensible decision.
I havent been able to, since they complete during regular tapping. Can I just not collect them until the next Act? (obviously info for future events at this point! *lol*)

I’ve got six of the dossiers to complete, so therefore 6000 flash drives (I think that’s what they are) at lunchtime tomorrow. 🙂
(Had I not had the chance of 16 bonuts – 10 for the culmulative tasks, 3 for the daily challenge and 3 for collecting 5000 disks – it would be 7000.)

So far this event is a big “meh”. I can’t say I’ve been impressed with any of the prizes or premium items. Sending a bunch of characters on non-visible 4 hour tasks and repeating the same basic drone scan tap off has me wishing this was a two act deal.
Exactly ! Easter was pushed aside for this and it’s just so repetitive.
This event is like most other events. Get used to the formula.
I finished act 1 with hours to spare, and was glad to get Mr Bont (that episode is a favorite). Act 2 started to feel like drudgery about halfway through. I don’t know the Wayne Slater episode so wasn’t particularly excited by the final prize, and though I got him easily, I feel kind of meh about it. Hoping to get excited about the act 3 prizes, or I might just have to put the game to rest for a while. I wish they’d make these events a week or two shorter. It’s hard to keep the enthusiasm going for 40+ days.
I think 10 days per Act is all most people can stay enthused about🐵…any more is drudgery, or bonuts (rewarded drudgery). 🙈

Some days I can’t win with these times time zones..
But when I look in my game as of this minute (11:45am Eastern US time) it says 15hrs, 14m, 50s left. Which puts as at 15hrs from 12pm Eastern US time. So 15hrs plus 12pm is 3am Eastern US time Tuesday morning. Currently Eastern US time is GMT -4. So that would mean GMT is Eastern US time +4. 4hrs plus 3am is…4am, 5am, 6am, 7am. Which is how I arrive at 7am GMT, not 8am GMT.
Now if your game says something different, or your clock says something different that’s another story. But currently 15hrs from 12pm Eastern US Time (or 4pm GMT) is 3am Tuesday morning (or 7am Tuesday Morning GMT)

While the third act lands here in the UK at 8am tomorrow, this is 8am BST (British Summer Time. The clocks went forwards an hour at the end of March because of farmers or something; I don’t fully understand why we monkey around with our clocks in this fashion) which would be 7am GMT in a few months or a few weeks ago.

Yup, but GMT time never changes. So GMT is always GMT, no daylight savings involved. So it’s the other times that adjust around it. So in the winter we’re GMT -4, in the Summer we’re GMT -5. In the winter you’re GMT and in the summer you’re GMT +1. But GMT is always GMT.

In most cases, “summer Time” (as you put it) or Daylight saving time (here in the USA) was created for many different reasons, but mostly so that people could enjoy more daylight in the summer, and to save on having to use artificial light (light bulbs or candles). It’s an urban myth that it was created for farmers. Farmers care little for the time of day. They tend to work from sun up to sun down regardless of the time of day. Look it up. 🙂

You’re both correct: 7 GMT = 8 GMT+1 (UK summer time) = 9 CEST (Central European summer time).
US East Coast is generally 6 hrs earlier, except for the few weeks in spring and fall where the summer time switching is not in sync.
I think it’s 8am to us in the UK but we’re currently on British Summer Time, so I wonder if that’s changed things?

I just finished Act 2. Should I go for earning 5000 intel for bonuts or just save my currency earnings for the next Act? I’m leaning towards saving currency since 5000 seems like a long way to go from now until the next Act.
Don’t save currency already earned…it is worthless tomorrow. Once the next Act starts…you start again at zero.
I don’t know why there is such a discrepancy in how dedicated players get through the event. I have been diligent, an not overly concerned, I even still get a regular 8 hours of sleep, and I got the last prize with a week to spare. I’ve had at least 15 rounds of bonuts.
The addition of premium characters makes a world of difference. I struggled the first Act, but bought some premium for second Act. I missed Bont the first time, but breezed through this one the second time.
The extra premium characters are a huge bonus. Just the nerds alone is fantastical for earning currency
I think it all depended on how many premium characters players had available to collect intel…without them, I think Act 1 was nearly impossible for some folks to complete. Also, I believe some of these players also chose donuts over intel for daily tasks, which put them further behind. By Act 2, more characters were added and a lot of good advice (strategy) was shared on this site…more players seem to have finished early. I expect that Act 3 will be even easier…more characters have been added again and by now, most players have realized that the old rules (I can play 2-3 times a day and still get all the prizes) don’t seem to apply in this event.
I missed out on Agent Bont (130 donuts to get him right now), but somehow I managed to get Wayne last night. I didn’t enjoy the game much after I missed out on Bont and hardly played the first two days of Act 2, but like an addict I came back. Thanks to a week filled with exam stress, insomnia and needing some respite, I tappa-tappa-tappad loads.
I thought I was going crazy because I read that you had April 15th being tomorrow and I was thinking maybe I had the days wrong. Hmmmmm.. I am a little behind so I better get some smoke up my butt and get moving. lol.
I’m with Torin8337, completed Act 2 – days ago and working towards my 4th round of bonuts. Whereas Act 1 I had to set alarms through the night to just scrape in with 20 mins spare! Enjoying this event – not bored YET!

I just unlocked the craftable parachute target and I’d argue it’s one of the best decorations in the game.
It is interesting to hear the comments regarding how difficult this is to complete. I haven’t had a great problem with it. Granted I had all my of the characters (through some judicious KEM, thanks for the guide). I was a bit worried for 2, as I went in for a total knee replacement last Tuesday, and had a hunch that I might not be in the best of minds to do it. I managed to complete it before I got wheeled up for the Op Tuesday evening. I was right, afterwards I wasn’t in the best of minds!
It is a shame when there can be such a gulf between what individuals can achieve.

Act 3 is about to arrive and I have grown bored with this event. (Finished Act2 EAsly)
I thought I was ahead at the beginning of Act 2, but now it looks like I’ll just scrap by getting Wayne Slater, I couldn’t be able to get Agent Bont in Act 1. In Act 2, i got fed up and bought Femme Fetale to help. I check pretty much every 4 hours and visit my neighbours, with completion of all daily tasks and situtation room. Haven’t managed any bonuts round for me this event! I don’t get it. I enjoy this event but it should really be renamed Mission Impossible!
I got Wayne on Saturday and working on my third set of bonuts now (with Bont it was hours before act 1 ended that I unlocked him). Wayne’s quest line with the other characters quest lines from this event will be waiting until after the event when I can complete them.
Act 3 will begin at 9AM my time – already in the middle of my workday. Well, sorta kinda… I am tempted to start work late tomorrow, so I can at least get the next act started 🙂
