Turbo Tappin’ Secret Agents: Act 3

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Secret A-gent man!  Secret A-gent man!  Our mission has continue with Act 3….

Act 3 of the Secret Agent Event rolled out to our devices early this morning and with it arrived, not only a foreign exchange student double agent in our premium stores, but a whole new questline to work our way through!

As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 3 runs until May 9th, and you’ll need Homer to get things started.

Remember, the questline can help you yield additional intel.  So be sure to complete the Act 3 main questline in order to earn an additional 900 intel…

So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what happens when Springfield goes covert….

  1. Hi all. I don’t know if this is where is should post or not, but I haven’t seen it if it’s been talked about. After I’ve tapped all my men in tan and do the vision goggle thing (can’t remember what it’s called) I don’t get credit for any of the schematics or the other things from the soldiers that I tapped. No box pops up or anything after I clear what I can tap. Anyone else having this problem? I’m losing a lot of points not getting these. 🙁

  2. All of the story quests for Act 1, 2 & 3 are very short. This seems to be how it goes now!

  3. I have two neighbors who are active that appear to not be collecting their neighbor hacks. Usually I can’t find anything to hack and sometimes I will find one or two items available. When I check their activity they have always played recently, within one hour sometimes. It seems like they are hoarding their “hacks”. I thought I had figured out that they had collected all the Act Two prizes and were holding them for Act Three, but they are still doing it. Any idea why?

    • My guess would be that they either don’t have the time to clear them, don’t want to clear them, or are tired of clearing them because it takes another tap to open each space back up. I also have several neighbors who do this. They did it for the last Halloween event as well.

      • Yeah, I usually carry the maximum amount of neighbors at all times, and this is the first time I’ve run into this with the same two neighbors every time. Thanks for answering.

They told us not to panic early on. In tstoaddicts I trust! A thousand mahalos to the few who serve so many, so well.

  5. Help!
My mini game is broken. Either at the beginning during the countdown, or halfway through while I’m tapping, my screen goes black and other random (recently used but already closed) apps or screens pop up. When I go back into tsto, the mini game timer has reset, but my totals in blueprints and Intel don’t reflect that I’d even played.
I’m playing on an Android phone, everything up to date. It doesn’t happen every time I do the mini game, but it’s at least once a day.
Is anyone else having this problem? Moderators, have you heard of this issue? Or am I a one-off and need to contact EA?
    Thanks for the help.

  6. So the assassin character from the dossiers event is not a playable character?!?

  7. I’ve not touched any of the quests. With all additional available premium characters collecting Intel too, and routinely 40+ agents during the scans, it’s ridiculously easy to collect the prizes. I have the first two already and the whole act is only 24h old. That’s gonna be a whole lot of Bonut rounds towards the end. Will probably start doing quests when all prizes are done.

    • Yes it’s ridiculously easy if you have been playing for a few years & have those extra characters. For new players not so however but still well doable I would have thought.
Act3 seems very much like what’s come before. Do we really need another skin for the headquarters ?
Overall I thought the destination event was more imaginative although some of the animation in this one are spot on ( the target is up there with the best ).

  8. I know this is slightly off subject but does anyone else have the pop up about when I place an item like the spy flowers or any of the earnables that I have reached my limit.

EA must really update this limitation because I have been playing since Hallowe’en 2012 and have a what I consider a beautiful town, prettily landscaped with items that have all been acquired freemium over the years and it is now starting to affect my playability.

    Xx

    • It seems to come and go…but yes…they have been “warning me” for years. I believe I am currently close to the 9600 limit. But, it doesn’t force me to store anything yet.

    • The 9600 limit is absolute…you will have to remove something to place anything else. Take a look behind buildings (make them transparent), you may have fencing or landscape items that can be removed without really changing your town. The first time I maxed out, I found over 100 items hidden by buildings. I have hit the 9600 mark several times since then, while farming KEMs, but during regular play, I am still around 100 away from my max.

    2nd verse, same as the first… oops 3rd verse, same as the 1st & 2nd 😂😂

  10. Thank you for the info as always 😬

  11. When I step on your foot and say Hello Mr.Thompson you say Hi. Hello Mr.Thompson…………….

  12. I can’t get it to trigger. Any ideas?

    • Don’t eat the yellow snow? Oh, sorry, that’s more of a “tip” than an “idea”

    • The same thing happened to me and then I realized I had never even started the Act 2 questline (The Worn Identity Pt. 1). It was sitting in my task bar, ignored, because I thought it was just some side quest for Camera Hat Homer…in addition to his side quest Hat in Hand Pt. 1. Lol

I have been working a lot more than usual so I haven’t gotten to neighbor visits as regularly as I normally would during an event, and this was the first time, EVER, since I’ve been playing that I’d had to use donuts to purchase the final track 1 prize. It was just a handful of donuts, but it concerned me since I’m usually about 2 days ahead of the calendar. Strangely enough, I finished the track 2 prizes 2 days ahead of schedule even without the extra currency from the Act 2 questline. Go figure.

      • That darn task bar! I have so many tasks being ignored, I think 8 in total! I picked up Hank Scorpio and BOOM! Every questline with every character involving Hank popped up. This is a strange event because I almost didn’t finish Act 1 myself, but Act 2 I was able to get 5 or 6 rounds of bonuts! That’s how I missed out on the last task, I was so far ahead I’d just assumed I’d done it all and ignored the task for Moe. Good luck in Act 3! May you get everything your heart desires and let it rain bonuts in your Springfield!
